August 2026
- Embed player, guest brief builder, and workflow clipsMato added a player across its public listening surfaces, a browser-only guest brief builder, three workflow clips, and targeted scripted-episode recovery.
- Free Planning Tools, Better Guest Discovery, and a New Mato LookMato launched a public hub for podcast planning tools and expanded the Guest Hub with more sourcing signals. Talent pages gained reviewed portraits and motion previews, while the public site moved into the new V3 design.
- Build the First Three Episodes Before Committing to a ShowMato added free planning tools for a three-episode pilot and a stronger interview-question guide. Guest sourcing and article production also moved closer to a complete review workflow.
- An Article Workspace, a Voice Lab, and Better Production ControlsMato gained a structured article-writing workspace and a larger set of voice-production tools. New admin controls make long-running voice jobs easier to resume, review, and move through production safely.
- Podcast Charts, Shareable Reports, and Interviews That Keep the EndingMato added public Apple Podcasts charts and private share links for podcast analytics. Interview capture also became more dependable, especially during reconnects and the final moments of a session.
July 2026
- Ads That Slot Into Episodes at Listen Time, Real Chapter Titles, and the Midnight Schedule BugDynamic ad insertion shipped end to end this week, from show-level defaults down to per-episode overrides with a choice of where the pre-roll lands. Episodes now carry real chapter titles instead of Part 1 and Part 2, and shows scheduled for midnight finally publish.
- Longer Sessions, Tighter Audio, and a Security Deep DiveCo-host sessions can now run up to 45 minutes. Custom intro music no longer cuts over the host. And a full security audit locked down cross-tenant access, SSRF vectors, and admin routes.
- AI Presenter Clips, Smarter Co-Host, and Clip Management That WorksSocial clips now feature an animated AI host that speaks your script on camera. The co-host got a full voice and behavior overhaul. And you can finally delete individual clips and select batches in bulk.

- Chart Rankings, Co-Host Memory, and AI-Generated Social ImagesYour podcast's Apple Podcasts chart rank now shows up in the app, with milestone celebration emails when you start charting. The AI co-host got a command center, a full memory browser, and an episode assembly pipeline. And Social Content can now generate static images alongside video clips.
