Make it part of your day

A question is a good start

You bring the intent. Your assistant finds the right Mato tools.

Find your show

“Which shows in our brand workspace are ready for a new episode?”

Browse your library and check what’s ready for its next episode.

Start the next episode

“Create a podcast for operations leaders. Show me the setup first.”

Turn a brief into a podcast or episode, follow its progress, then review it in Mato.

See what’s resonating

“Compare our last three episodes. What should we learn from them?”

Bring available analytics and chart observations into your next editorial decision.

Get connected

Bring Mato to your assistant

Choose your assistant below. Your Mato account connects the tools, workspaces and shows you already use.

Add Mato to Codex

In a terminal with the Codex CLI installed, run these commands one at a time.

codex mcp add mato --url https://heymato.com/api/mcp
codex mcp login mato --scopes mato:read, mato:create

Choose your workspaces

Keep the login command running. Sign in to Mato in the browser it opens, approve your connection, then return to Codex.

Choose one or more team workspaces. Read access is included; creating podcasts and episodes is optional.

Start with a question

“Show my workspaces and podcasts.”

Your workspace, your say

The workspaces you choose

Connect several team workspaces at once. Name the one you want your assistant to use.

The access you allow

Start with reporting, or also allow creation using your existing plan allowance.

The release you approve

MCP, explained

A few things to know

Use a client that supports remote MCP over Streamable HTTP and OAuth. The setup above covers Codex CLI and Claude Code, with the server URL for other compatible assistants. Availability can depend on the client version and your organization’s policy.
