Once you approve a question in the Inbox, it moves here. The Approved queue shows every question waiting to be used and the order they will air in, and lets you change that order by hand.
Open the Approved queue
From your podcast, click Questions under Monitor in the sidebar, then click the Approved tab.
Read the note at the top
A banner explains what happens next: your show's next scheduled episode picks up the top questions in this list, highest priority first and then oldest, up to the per-episode limit you set in Set up Listener Q&A. A link beside the note shows whether listener questions are currently on or off in your schedule, with a shortcut to change it.
If your show has no upcoming scheduled episode, the note explains that the next episode you make, whenever that is, will pick these up instead.
Reorder the queue
Every question has a grip handle. Drag a question up or down to change its position, or focus the handle and use Alt plus the arrow keys to move it without a mouse. A numbered badge on each row shows its current position.
Questions within the number your per-episode limit allows are shown with a filled position badge. Below that line, a divider reads "Waiting for a later episode," and the remaining questions are muted to show they are queued but will not be used next.
Reordering saves immediately. If the save fails, the list reverts to its previous order and a toast tells you to try again.
Take a question back out
Each row has an Unapprove button. Clicking it returns the question to the Inbox, with an Undo option in case you change your mind again.
Make an episode from the queue
When the queue has anything in it, a Make an episode with these button appears at the top of the screen. Clicking it opens the episode wizard with your approved questions already selected for the Q&A segment.
What to do next
- Approve more questions from Triage questions to keep the queue filled.
- Adjust how many questions each episode can use in Set up Listener Q&A.
