You are good at your job. You have the title, the salary, and the LinkedIn profile to prove it. And you are miserable. Not because you are weak. Not because you are ungrateful. But because God did not wire you to spend the best hours of your life building someone else's dream. You feel it every Sunday night. That pit in your stomach. That quiet voice that keeps whispering — this is not it. That voice is not anxiety. That is your calling. Welcome to Stuck in Corporate? — the only podcast built around the God-led corporate exit strategy for Christian women who are done choosing a paycheck over their calling. I am Holly Powell — Corporate Exit Strategist, faith-led coach, and the woman who walked away from a 20-year career on nothing but obedience and a plan. I did not wait until it made sense. I moved when God said move. And I have never looked back. This is not a podcast about hustle. It is not about building a six-figure business overnight. It is about something far more important — getting your life back. Every week I will give you the real plan, the hard truth, and the holy boldness you need to walk out of that building on your terms — with your faith leading, your family intact, and your calling finally in front of you. If you are a Christian woman who knows she is meant for more — this is your next step. Let's get you unstuck. 🌐 www.stuckincorporate.com 📩 holly@stuckincorporate.com 🖇️ Follow me on LinkedIn
👉 Ready to turn the money keeping you stuck into the money that funds your exit? Book YOUR Corporate Exit Strategy Call HERE The salary. The bonus. The stock that vests next spring. The match you'd be leaving on the table. None of that is small. And none of it is the enemy, either. If you have ever told yourself you'll leave "once the bonus hits" or "once the stock vests" — and quietly known that date keeps moving — this episode is going to hit different. Because here's the truth, friend... You've been treating the very thing keeping you stuck like it's untouchable. Like it belongs to the toxic workplace instead of to you. But that paycheck was never theirs to hold hostage. It's yours — and it can build the exact runway that sets you free, if you finally decide to redirect it on purpose. But here's what nobody has told you yet: the handcuffs only feel golden because they're indefinite. The moment you put a real number and a real date on them, they stop being a cage and start being a bridge. You don't need a windfall. You need a plan for the money you already have. If you are the breadwinner and the weight of that paycheck has kept you quiet for far too long — this episode is for you. If you have ever felt undervalued but stayed anyway because the money made it feel worth it — this episode is for you. If you are buried in a toxic workplace and know deep down the golden handcuffs are the only thing really keeping you there — this episode is for you. If you are ready to stop calling it "someday" and finally give your exit a real date — friend, this episode is especially for you. MISSED LAST WEEK'S EPISODE? I'VE GOT YOU COVERED. Last week we talked about being passed over — promised a promotion, denied even the interview — and how that closed door is actually pointing you toward something bigger. TUNE IN NOW! P.S. — If you know a woman who's the breadwinner in her home, staying for the bonus or the vesting date, and quietly wondering if the money is worth what it's costing her — share this episode with her. Your share could be the moment everything changes for her. 🖤 --- Keywords: breadwinner, toxic workplace, undervalued, unvalued
👉 Ready to stop doubting yourself and finally get clarity on what's next? Let's talk. Book your Corporate Exit Strategy Call HERE You were told you were ready. Then the role opened up. And you didn't even get the interview. If you have spent weeks replaying that moment, wondering what you did wrong, wondering if you're actually as good as you thought you were — this episode is going to hit different. Because here's the truth, friend... That silence you've been sitting in? It wasn't empty. You filled it. With every worst-case story about yourself you could think of. What you didn't realize is that the rejection had almost nothing to do with you at all — and everything to do with a toxic workplace that was never going to see your full worth in the first place. But here's what nobody has told you yet: being passed over isn't a verdict on your value. It's a closed door on a role that was always too small for what God actually has for you. You don't need their approval. You need your own clarity. If you have ever felt undervalued despite doing everything right — this episode is for you. If you are the breadwinner and can't afford to keep pinning your future on a promotion that may never come — this episode is for you. If you are buried in a toxic workplace that keeps overlooking you no matter how hard you work — this episode is for you. If you are ready to stop asking "what's wrong with me" and start asking "what's next for me" — friend, this episode is especially for you. P.S. — If you know a woman who was just passed over and is quietly questioning everything about herself right now — share this episode with her. Your share could be the moment everything changes for her. 🖤 --- Keywords: breadwinner, toxic workplace, undervalued, unvalued
👉 Ready to stop feeling unvalued and finally build the life God called you to? Let's talk. Book your Exit Strategy Call HERE You are not "meets expectations." You are not the same story you heard in last year's review, just dressed up in nicer language this time around. If you have sat across from your manager, heard every reason you're doing a great job, and still walked away feeling completely unvalued — this episode is going to hit different. Because here's the truth, friend... You keep waiting for the review that finally changes something. Waiting for "just a little more" to turn into the promotion, the raise, the recognition you've actually earned. You tell yourself next cycle will be different. It wasn't different last year. It probably won't be different this year either. But here's what nobody has told you yet: that review was never a verdict on you. It was a mirror — showing you exactly how good you already are, and exactly how long a toxic workplace intends to keep benefiting from it before they ever let you rise. You don't need one more "atta girl." You need a plan of your own. If you are the breadwinner carrying the full financial weight of your household and can't afford to keep waiting on someone else's calendar — this episode is for you. If you have spent years in a toxic workplace that keeps recognizing your work without ever rewarding it — this episode is for you. If you are tired of walking out of every review feeling unvalued, no matter how many wins are on the page — this episode is for you. If you are ready to stop collecting "atta girls" and start building your own exit — friend, this episode is especially for you. P.S. — If you know a woman who's the breadwinner in her home, stuck in a toxic workplace, and tired of feeling unvalued no matter how many great reviews she gets — share this episode with her. Your share could be the moment everything changes for her. 🖤 --- Keywords: breadwinner, toxic workplace, unvalued
👉 Ready to stop feeling undervalued and finally build the company only you can build? Let's talk. BOOK HERE You are not a job title. You are not a performance review. And you are certainly not "meets expectations." If you have spent years in a toxic workplace, giving everything you have to a company that still somehow leaves you feeling undervalued and unvalued — this episode is going to hit different. Because here's the truth, friend... You keep waiting to feel ready. Waiting for the fear to go away. Waiting until you have a business idea that feels big enough, polished enough, safe enough to actually leave for. But here's what nobody has told you yet: you already have everything you need. The decision-making. The leadership. The communication. The ability to perform under pressure while everyone else falls apart. That is not just a resume. That is a consulting practice, already built inside you, just waiting to be named. You don't need a new idea. You need to see what has been there the entire time. If you have ever felt unvalued despite doing everything right — this episode is for you. If you are buried in a toxic workplace and know deep down it is costing you more than it is paying you — this episode is for you. If you are a Christian woman who has poured everything into your corporate career — and somewhere along the way stopped knowing who you are outside of it — this episode is for you. Because here is what nobody tells you when you decide to leave: The hardest part of leaving corporate is not the money. It is not the benefits. It is not even the fear. It is the identity crisis waiting for you on the other side. If you have ever tied your worth to your job title — this episode is for you. If corporate burnout has left you wondering who you even are anymore — this episode is for you. If you are ready for personal growth that goes deeper than a promotion or a pay raise — this episode is especially for you. In today's episode you will discover: → Why high-achieving women lose themselves inside corporate culture — and never see it coming → How your career transition can feel like a complete identity breakdown (and why that is actually God's plan) → The Air Force Basic Training secret that explains exactly why your breaking down is building you up → What setting boundaries with your corporate identity actually looks like in real life → How to rebuild your identity as a Kingdom Entrepreneur — starting with your daily routine → Why entrepreneurial mindset is the missing piece between where you are and where God is calling you Here is what I know for sure: The woman God created you to be is not the woman in the corner office. 👉 Ready to stop letting perfectionism steal the business God called you to build? Let's talk. Send me an email at holly@stuckincorporate.com Because here's the truth friend... You have been getting ready to get ready. You told yourself you would launch when the website was done. When the niche was clear. When you felt more confident. When you had more money saved. When the kids were older. When the timing was right. And here you are. Still in corporate. Still giving your best hours to someone else's dream. Still waiting for a green light that is never coming. Sound familiar? That is exactly what we are breaking today. If perfectionism has been keeping you from building the coaching or consulting business you know you are called to build — this episode is for you. If you are the primary breadwinner and the financial weight of your household has you paralyzed — this episode is for you. If you are a Christian woman who has been living a double life — corporate professional by day, quietly building your dream on every stolen hour you can find — friend, this episode is especially for you. Inside I break down: 🖤 Why perfectionism is not a personality trait — it is procrastination wearing a productivity mask 🖤 The four excuses keeping you from building your business — and why every single one of them is fear in disguise 🖤 Why your twenty years of corporate experience has more merit than any course certificate on your wall 🖤 The double life nobody talks about — building in secret, scared your company finds out, carrying it completely alone 🖤 Why playing small is not caution — it is a sin — and what God is actually asking you to trust Him with Because here is what I know to be true... Your company has been monetizing your expertise for years. It is time for you to monetize it for yourself. You do not need a perfect niche. You do not need a finished website. You do not need one more course. You need one person who has a problem you already know how to solve. That is the whole business to start. You are a leader. At home and at work. You have been leading, coaching, and delivering your whole career. And you absolutely have what it takes to make this happen. But you have been using perfectionism as procrastination. And that stops today. P.S. — If you know a woman who is the breadwinner in her home and she has been quietly dreaming about leaving corporate to build her own business — share this episode with her. Your share could be the moment everything changes for her. 🖤 Keywords: perfectionism, procrastination, corporate exit, coaching business, consulting business, primary breadwinner, faith, women entrepreneurs, calling, freedom

Because here's the truth friend... You told yourself January was going to be the year. You were going to work until the bonus hit. Until the stocks vested. Until the timing was right. And then the raise came. The empty promises followed. And you stayed. It's June now. And you are sitting in that cubicle convicted — because you let your steady paycheck win again. Sound familiar? That's exactly what we are breaking today. If corporate burnout has you trapped in the "one more year" cycle — this episode is for you. If career transition feels impossible because the financial fear is just too loud — this episode is for you. If you are a Christian woman who knows she is called to more but keeps letting the paycheck talk her out of it — friend, this episode is especially for you. Inside, I break down: 🖤 The 3 financial traps that keep Christian women stuck in corporate — and why they feel so convincing 🖤 Why this is not actually a money problem — it's a faith problem dressed up in a spreadsheet 🖤 The real cost of staying — what your work-life balance, your family, and your calling are paying every single day you wait 🖤 The question God has been waiting for you to ask that will completely flip the stakes 🖤 What setting boundaries with your own fear actually looks like — and why it starts with one decision Because here's what I know to be true... Every day you stay is not caution. It is a choice. You are choosing your employer over your calling. And that choice has a cost that does not show up on your pay stub. What if God is asking you to let go so He can give you something greater? If you knew that leaving today meant losing $120,000 in the short term — but you were building a God-led business that would give you $1.2 million in two years — would that change the stakes? 👉 Ready to stop second-guessing and start walking in your calling? Book your Corporate Exit Strategy Call here: www.stuckincorporate.com Because here's the truth friend... if you've been trying to leave that corporate job for 2, 3, maybe 5 years — and you still haven't moved — it's not your finances. It's not your timing. It's not your circumstances. It's that you don't fully trust God enough to take the next step. And I know, because I was YOU. In this episode, I get vulnerable about the real reason so many high-achieving women stay stuck in corporate — and it's not what you think. Inside, I break down: 🖤 The 3 real reasons we second-guess our God-given calling 🖤 Why over-analyzing everything is just fear dressed up in a business suit 🖤 What Esther's story teaches us about trusting God in impossible, life-or-death moments 🖤 Why God doesn't need your perfect plan — He just needs your YES 🖤 How to take your next step even when you don't feel ready or equipped Because here's what I know to be true... God doesn't call the equipped. He equips the called. Esther didn't second-guess. She didn't overanalyze. She put her faith in the Lord and took action — and she saved not only herself but her entire people. So here's the question I'm leaving with you today: If our loving and generous God could guide and protect Esther in her calling… what makes you think He wouldn't do it for you? Hey friend — this episode is straight from my heart to yours. I recently had the most incredible opportunity to see Mel Robbins live in Atlanta and I knew the moment I sat down that everything she was saying was meant for you too. In this episode I am sharing the biggest lessons I took away and connecting them directly to the woman who is exhausted from burnout, silently fighting imposter syndrome, and wondering if a career change is really possible for someone like her. If you have been sitting on your dream and waiting to feel ready — this episode is going to challenge you to stop waiting and start moving. Because thinking doesn't change your life. Action does. And true work-life balance and purpose? They are waiting for you on the other side of that decision. Come listen. I think this one is going to hit different. 🎙️

Have you ever watched God move fast in one area of your life — and then felt like He went completely silent in another? That's exactly where I am right now. My North Carolina house sold in three days. My Delaware house has been on the market for almost a month. Eight hours away. Out of my hands completely. And it is teaching me everything about what it really means to bless and release the outcome. In this episode I'm getting real with you — because I'm still in the middle of this one. No neat bow. No tidy ending. Just me, in the waiting room, choosing surrender on the good days and the hard ones. We're talking about: Why the waiting is not wasted — even when it feels like nothing is moving What "bless and release" actually looks like in real life — not just as a phrase but as a daily practice The difference between blessing it, releasing it, and surrendering the outcome — and why all three are connected Why God's timeline is not your timeline — and how to stay faithful while you wait Whether you're waiting on a house, a job, a business breakthrough, or a door that just won't open — this episode is for you. Your three days is coming. But right now? This is your Delaware house season. And you don't have to white-knuckle your way through it. Have you been putting off your next chapter because you don't feel ready? Because you don't know enough yet? Because that voice in your head keeps telling you that you are not qualified, not experienced enough, and not prepared enough to take the leap? That voice has a name. It is called imposter syndrome. And in this episode I am calling it out — because it has been lying to you long enough. In Episode 36 of Stuck In Corporate? I am breaking down why waiting until you have it all figured out is not wisdom — it is a trap. And I am giving you the tools, the truth, and the scripture to help you take your first real step before you feel ready. Because here is what I know: nobody has it all figured out when they start. Nobody. The only difference between where you are right now and where you want to be is one thing — starting. WHAT YOU'LL DISCOVER IN THIS EPISODE Why "I don't know enough yet" is quietly keeping you from the very thing that will teach you The real reason imposter syndrome only shows up when you are onto something big Why you do not need more than you already have to take your first step How God equips you as you go — not before you go Why authenticity is more powerful than perfection when you are starting something new QUESTIONS TO SIT WITH Grab your journal and let these land: On waiting to feel ready: What is the one thing I have been waiting to know more about before I start? Could I learn this better by doing it than by studying it? What would I do today if I knew I could not fail? On imposter syndrome: What is the voice in my head saying about why I am not ready? Is that voice telling me the truth — or is it protecting me from discomfort? What is one truth about my gifts and calling that I can replace that voice with? On starting with what I have: What do I already know that someone else would find genuinely valuable? What tools, resources, or relationships do I already have access to right now? What is the one small thing I can bring to God today and say — here it is Lord, use it? SCRIPTURES I REFERENCE Proverbs 18:15 — The heart of the discerning acquires knowledge, for the ears of the wise seek it out. 2 Corinthians 12:9 — My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Ephesians 2:10 — We are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Romans 8:28 — In all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Exodus 4:11–12 — Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say. Matthew 14:18 — Bring them here to me. Psalm 37:5 — Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this. Joshua 1:9 — Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. 1 Thessalonians 5:11 — Therefore encourage one another and build each other up. Philippians 4:13 — I can do all this through him who gives me strength. YOUR THREE ACTION STEPS Don't just listen — do the work. Here's what I'm challenging you to do before next week: Identify Your One Thing — What is the one step you have been putting off because you didn't feel ready? Write it down specifically. Not a vague direction — a specific action. Vague intentions stay intentions. Specific actions become momentum. Do It Scared — Take that one step this week. Before you feel ready. Before the imposter syndrome quiets down. Do it scared. Because courage is not the absence of fear — it is taking the step anyway. Tell Someone — Tell one person what you just did or what you are about to do. Say it out loud. Because something powerful happens when we speak our intentions into the world — they become real, they become accountable, and they stop being just a dream. READY TO STOP WAITING AND START MOVING? Have you been telling yourself you can't afford to leave corporate? That you need more saved, better timing, or a more stable economy before you make your move? What if that story isn't as true as you think? In this episode, I am getting practical. Like, grab your notebook and open your bank app practical. Because today I am breaking down the five small daily spending habits that are quietly draining hundreds of dollars every single month — money that could already be building your financial runway out of corporate. This episode is for you if you know God is calling you forward but the finances feel like the wall between you and your freedom. It is time to do the math together — because the numbers might just surprise you. WHAT YOU'LL DISCOVER IN THIS EPISODE Why "I can't afford it" is often a story — not a fact — and how to tell the difference The five everyday spending habits quietly keeping you stuck Why how you steward small things determines what God trusts you with next What a Freedom Fund is, how to start one, and exactly how much you need to save before you make your move THE NUMBERS WE BREAK DOWN I am going to walk you through five everyday spending habits that feel completely normal — but are quietly draining hundreds of dollars every single month. We start with the one that gets me every time. The coffee run. If you are hitting Starbucks or Dunkin six times a week — and a lot of us are, because it is the one thing that makes the commute bearable — I want you to know what that single habit is costing you every year. The number might make you put your cup down. And that is just the coffee. By the time we get through all five habits together in this episode, the total yearly number we land on is going to stop you in your tracks. Because it is not a small number. And every single dollar of it could be going directly into your Freedom Fund instead. Hit play. Do the math with me. I think you are going to be surprised by how close you already are. QUESTIONS TO SIT WITH Grab your journal and let these land: On the "I can't afford it" story: Is "I can't afford it" a fact right now — or is it a feeling? Have I actually looked at the numbers, or have I just assumed? What would I do differently with my money if I knew I was leaving in six months? On your spending habits: Did this purchase move me toward my freedom or away from it? Is this a need, a want, or a habit I haven't questioned in years? What small habit could I redirect starting today? On building your Freedom Fund: What is my personal monthly number — what does it actually cost me to live? What is my three to six month savings goal? What is one thing I can automate this week to start moving toward it? SCRIPTURES I REFERENCE Proverbs 21:5 — The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty. Philippians 4:19 — And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. Luke 16:10 — Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much. Hebrews 11:1 — Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. Proverbs 16:3 — Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans. Proverbs 27:23 — Know well the condition of your flocks, and give attention to your herds. Luke 14:28 — For which of you, desiring to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost? Proverbs 31:25 — She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. YOUR THREE ACTION STEPS Don't just listen — do the work. Here's what I'm challenging you to do before next week: Do Your Freedom Audit — Pull up your last 30 days of bank and credit card statements. Go through every transaction and identify what you're spending in the five categories we covered. Write the real number down. You cannot change what you refuse to look at. Open Your Freedom Fund — Open a separate savings account today and name it something that connects you to your purpose. Set up an automatic transfer — even if it's just $25 or $50 to start. The amount matters less than the habit. Calculate Your Number — Figure out what your personal monthly expenses actually are. Multiply that by three. That is your minimum Freedom Fund goal. Write it somewhere you will see it every single day. READY TO MAKE A PLAN? If this episode hit home and you are ready to stop doing this alone — I would love to help you build your real exit plan. Have you been telling yourself you're not ready to leave corporate — but deep down you've known for a long time that it's time to go? There's a word for what's been holding you back, and it might not be what you think. In this episode, I break down one of the most powerful distinctions for any woman stuck in corporate burnout: the difference between fear and concern. Because they feel similar — but they are not the same. One is from God. One is from the enemy. And knowing which one is driving your decisions could change everything. This episode is for you if you've been feeling the pull toward a career change but keep talking yourself out of it, if imposter syndrome has convinced you that you're not qualified for anything outside your current job, or if you're craving real work-life balance and a sense of purpose — but fear keeps winning. WHAT YOU'LL DISCOVER IN THIS EPISODE The critical difference between fear and concern — and why it matters for your career change Why your body may have been sending you signals long before your mind was ready to listen How to recognize when God is repeating Himself — and what to do when He is Why the "steady income" comfort trap keeps so many women stuck in burnout What the funnel season is, and why it doesn't last forever QUESTIONS TO SIT WITH I ask these questions throughout the episode. Grab your journal and let them land: On fear vs. concern: Is what I'm feeling right now keeping me from being wise — or keeping me from being obedient? Which one has been driving my decisions — fear or concern? Have I been using my concern as an excuse to let fear win? On what your body is telling you: When was the last time I felt genuinely energized by my work? When I think about going in tomorrow, what does my body do? Is there something I do — a passion, a hobby, a skill people keep pointing to — where time flies and I feel like myself? On divine confirmation: What words or phrases has God been repeating to me in the last 3 to 6 months? What themes keep coming up in my quiet time, my conversations, my prayers? What doors have closed that I initially grieved — but maybe now can see were actually grace? SCRIPTURES I REFERENCE 2 Timothy 1:7 — For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. Joshua 1:9 — Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. 1 Corinthians 6:19 — Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit? Ephesians 2:10 — We are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Proverbs 3:5–6 — Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. Romans 8:28 — In all things God works for the good of those who love him. 1 Peter 5:7 — Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. Ecclesiastes 4:9–10 — Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor. Psalm 119:105 — Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path. YOUR THREE ACTION STEPS Don't just listen — do the work. Here's what I'm challenging you to do before next week: Name It — Write down everything that's been keeping you in place and label each one honestly: is this fear or wise concern? Set the Date — Write down your last day. Put it on a sticky note somewhere you'll see it every single day. Obedience often starts with a date. Tell 3 People — Share your intention with three people who will speak life over you and hold you accountable. READY TO MAKE A PLAN? You're surrounded by people every single day — colleagues, meetings, a packed calendar — so why do you feel completely alone? In this episode, we're talking about something nobody says out loud at the all-hands meeting: burnout and loneliness aren't two separate problems. They're the same problem. And together, they will cost you everything. This one is personal. After years in retail corporate management — where the phone never stopped and the expectations never paused — I learned the hard way what happens when work becomes your whole world. Burnout doesn't announce itself — it isolates you slowly, compounding quietly over years until your world has shrunk down to the four walls of your industry and work is the only thing left. The friendships fade. The family moments slip by. And somehow, in the middle of all the noise and responsibility, you become the loneliest person in the room. And still — you stay. Because the money is real. The salary, the benefits, the lifestyle you've built around that income — it all feels too risky to walk away from. So you make a deal with yourself. You tell yourself it's temporary. But here's the hard truth: the money is never worth losing everything that matters. Your relationships, your time, your sense of self — those can't be bought back. And the company that took all of it from you will replace you without a second thought. The loneliness you're feeling isn't a personality flaw. It's your soul telling you this is not the life you were created for. So in this episode, we're walking through three steps to break the cycle before it breaks you — how to admit what's really happening, how to deliberately rebuild relationships outside of work, and how to start building a real exit strategy before the burnout gets any louder. Key Scriptures: Psalm 34:18 — "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted." Matthew 11:28 — "Come to me, all of you who are weary." John 10:10 — "My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life." IN THIS EPISODE Why burnout doesn't always mean it's time to quit — and what it might really be telling you How to fight imposter syndrome when you're growing into a bigger version of yourself The difference between leaving corporate out of emotion vs. leaving with a strategy How to start building your exit plan while you're still employed Why the waiting season is actually a development season — and how to make the most of it SCRIPTURES REFERENCED Jeremiah 29:11 NLT Proverbs 21:5 NLT Isaiah 40:31 NLT READY TO PLAN YOUR EXIT?
