We finally sailed Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, the Disney Destiny, on a rare seven-night Eastern Caribbean itinerary and it delivered the exact kind of vacation we crave: less planning, more living. From the moment we boarded in Fort Lauderdale and stepped into the Grand Hall, we felt the switch flip into full cruise mode. Did we get to do everything we wanted even with the extra days? No - but that just means we'll have to go back! 238. Drinks, Fireworks, and a Premier Pass
The Florida weather tried to run the show, but we still pulled off a packed Walt Disney World parks trip with plenty of snacks, storms, and hard-earned tips. Five parks. Three days. Were we crazy, lucky, or smart? Yes. We start with the pre-cruise stretch: checking into Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, hopping to EPCOT, and attempting the classic “drinking around the world” challenge in World Showcase while thunder and rain keep forcing us indoors at exactly the right moments.
