This Sesh starts with an idea for building better connections and ends up going somewhere much deeper: ego, self-awareness, faith, service, judgment, and the difference between talking about love and actually living it. We get into why people prejudge each other, how those snap judgments create friction, and what happens when you stop trying to win every interaction. Sometimes growth is simply catching yourself before you respond and asking, “Am I helping right now, or am I just trying to be right?” We also talk about creating spaces where people can connect without all the usual labels, how cannabis helped teach us patience, why self-awareness isn’t about “fixing” who you are, and what it looks like to put your beliefs into practice through honesty, kindness, and service. Because being right doesn’t mean much if you lose the person in front of you. Keep the Mic on. Fuel the movement. Keep the conversation going. Purple, frosty, fruity, gassy—and only around 16% THC? Blueberry Sugar by Brand Zero proves that a great cannabis experience isn’t always about chasing the biggest number on the label. In this episode of Cannabis School, Brandon and Jesse explore this Cream Cake 2.1 × Blueberry Frosting hybrid. They break down its deep purple-and-blue flower, orange hairs, heavy trichome coverage, sweet aroma, and surprisingly peppery finish. Blueberry Sugar delivers a clear-headed, calming, and creative experience without leaving them feeling foggy or stuck. The conversation quickly expands into productivity, curiosity, self-awareness, changing old behaviors, and finding more joy in your own journey. They also compare vaping Blueberry Sugar at 365°F with smoking it in a joint—and discover two noticeably different experiences. In this episode: Blueberry Sugar’s appearance, aroma, and flavor Cream Cake 2.1 × Blueberry Frosting genetics Why 16% THC shouldn’t be underestimated Fruity, gassy, sweet, and peppery notes Myrcene, beta-caryophyllene, limonene, humulene, and alpha-pinene Vaping versus smoking it in a joint Clear-headed creativity and productive energy Cannabis, curiosity, habits, and self-awareness Why THC percentage never tells the complete story Have you tried Blueberry Sugar by Brand Zero? What do tipping over a motorcycle, childhood fistfights, martial arts, negative comments, social media algorithms, and industrial-strength zip ties have in common? Honestly, more than they probably should. This week, we start with a bruised ego after a motorcycle goes down twice before the ride even really begins. That turns into a conversation about the ridiculous standards we hold ourselves to, the old scripts telling us we’re not good enough, and why mastery doesn’t mean you’ll never fuck up. From there, we get into growing up around violence, being bullied, learning to fight, and the difference between being capable of violence and constantly looking for it. We talk about muscle memory, pressure testing, protecting the people you love, and how real mastery can eventually teach you to avoid the fight altogether. We also get into why random people on the internet don’t deserve your energy, how to train your social media algorithm instead of letting it train you, and why sometimes the healthiest response is simply, “This probably isn’t the show for you.” Then, naturally, we finish with motorcycles, broken car parts, cowboy engineering, questionable safety inspections, and a heartfelt appreciation for one of humanity’s greatest inventions: the zip tie. Black Triangle: A Smooth, Old-School Indica Hybrid Welcome back, kids! This week, we’re finally giving Black Triangle the full Cannabis School treatment. Black Triangle crosses Triangle Kush with ’88 G13 Hashplant, creating an indica-dominant hybrid known for its mellow, relaxing experience. The Brand Zero flower we tried came in at 17.6% THC—considerably lower than the 25–30% sometimes associated with this strain—but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. We discuss the flower’s trim, sugar leaves, value, and surprisingly smooth smoke. Its mild earthy flavor, subtle sweetness, and lack of harshness make it an approachable option for newer consumers or anyone who doesn’t want an overwhelmingly heavy high. The experience felt grounded and relaxing, with gentle pressure behind the eyes and noticeable body relaxation. In this episode, we also get into: Black Triangle’s genetics, cannabinoids, and terpene profile Myrcene, linalool, limonene, beta-caryophyllene, and humulene Why THC percentage doesn’t tell the entire story Mixing strains to create different effects and flavor combinations Sugar leaves and how trimming can affect the smoke Flower versus vape pens, edibles, concentrates, and vaporizers Why beginners should always start low and go slow Joint rolling, gravity bongs, and future Cannabis School experiments Whether budget flower can still deliver a worthwhile experience Overall, Black Triangle offered a mild, smooth, and pleasantly relaxing session. It may not knock experienced consumers into the couch, but it could be a solid choice for beginners, lower-dose consumers, or anyone looking for affordable flower to enjoy on its own or mix with another strain. Have you tried Black Triangle or anything from Brand Zero? Let us know what you thought! As always, consume responsibly, know your local laws, and remember that cannabis affects everyone differently. What do you get when Granddaddy Purple and Cherry Pie have a mysterious little love child? Phantom Cookies—a sativa-dominant hybrid that brings a clear, calm, and functional high without launching you into another dimension. In this episode, we break out the Volcano and put Phantom Cookies to the test. Right away, this strain hits us with a surprisingly spicy flavor—think black pepper, clove, and even a hint of cinnamon—followed by sweet, citrusy, earthy, and musky notes. We talk about its reported 15–20% THC range, its cannabinoid profile, and terpenes commonly associated with the strain, including caryophyllene, limonene, and myrcene. The effects? Happy, relaxed, aware, and still ready to function. This feels like a solid wake-and-bake strain for anyone who wants to mow the lawn, work out, read, watch *Ancient Aliens*, or just touch some grass before touching some grass. We also discuss reports of Phantom Cookies being used for anxiety, pain, inflammation, fatigue, depression, arthritis, and ADHD/ADD symptoms—plus why the strain’s easygoing effects may make it approachable for newer cannabis consumers. Naturally, we also wander into drive-through margaritas, aggressively boozy coffee, black vodka, questionable medical-device marketing, homemade edibles, and the urgent need to bring cannabis suckers back into our lives. ## In This Episode - Phantom Cookies genetics: Granddaddy Purple × Cherry Pie - Why this strain tastes spicy, peppery, and almost like cinnamon - Sweet, citrus, earthy, herbal, and musky notes - A clear, calm, functional high without overwhelming euphoria - Why it may be a great wake-and-bake or daytime strain - Reported experiences involving anxiety, focus, pain, and inflammation - THC, CBD, and the importance of looking beyond THC percentage - Caryophyllene, limonene, myrcene, pinene, and linalool - Mild cottonmouth, no major munchies, and a happy overall ride - Drive-through booze, weird vodka, homemade gummies, and cannabis suckers Have you tried Phantom Cookies? This week’s Sesh starts with business lessons that usually only come after failing a few times. We talk about why trying to do everything yourself eventually becomes the bottleneck, and how the right partnerships let people focus on what they actually do best. From there, the conversation takes its usual detour through movies, gaming, construction, motorcycles, camping, cannabis, and a surprising amount of joint rolling technique. Along the way we dive into: Why delegation is one of the hardest skills to learn The difference between creators and operators Building systems instead of carrying everything yourself The psychology behind changing your own behavior instead of trying to change everyone else How camping became an unexpected reset for mental health Why Margin Call might be one of the best business movies you’ve never watched Revisiting Troy with a completely different perspective Whether technology is advancing as fast as it could The evolution of modern video games and endless updates Motorcycle trip planning and adventure prep Our latest Gran Turismo obsession and favorite rally cars Joint rolling tips, resin tricks, and why we’ve become daily joint smokers Sometimes the best conversations don’t have a script. They just wander wherever curiosity takes them, and somehow still circle back to becoming a better human. Candy strains can be hit or miss. Some lean all-in on flavor but leave the effects feeling flat. Others bring the gas but lose the sweetness. Candy Fumez manages to walk the middle. This week we’re checking out Candy Fumez from Find by Tryke , a hybrid bred from Zkittlez × Sherbanger . It brings together candy-forward terpenes with a little fuel, citrus, and earthy funk to create a strain that feels more playful than overwhelming. ( Breakwater Dispensary ) For us, this wasn’t a couch-lock strain or one that demanded productivity. It landed somewhere in the sweet spot between the two. Think video games, movies, hanging out with friends, or spending time outside without feeling glued to the couch. One thing we both noticed was how light the experience felt. It was mentally uplifting without becoming racy, while the body stayed relaxed without feeling heavy. Your experience may vary depending on your tolerance and the specific batch you have. Zkittlez × Sherbanger ( Breakwater Dispensary ) Limonene β-Caryophyllene Linalool These terpenes are commonly associated with bright citrus aromas, peppery spice, floral notes, and relaxing tendencies, although individual effects vary from person to person. ( Groove Solventless ) Sweet candy Citrus Tropical fruit Berry Light diesel Creamy sherbet finish The aroma promised a lot of sweetness, but once we started smoking, we noticed something neither of us expected. It reminded us more of a smooth, hoppy beer than an overly sugary candy strain. As the session went on, more citrus and sweet notes started coming through. For us, Candy Fumez felt: Uplifting without being overly stimulating Relaxed but still functional Great for gaming Easy to socialize on More head-focused than body-heavy Silly, lighthearted, and conversation-friendly One funny observation was what Brandon started calling a “squirrel strain.” Ideas would come quickly, but every once in a while we’d completely lose our train of thought before jumping into the next topic. If you’ve ever had one of those classic cannabis moments where you stop mid-sentence wondering what you were saying, you’ll probably understand exactly what we mean. Gaming Watching movies Hanging out with friends Relaxing after work Casual hikes Creative conversations Pros Pleasant, upbeat mood Functional hybrid Easygoing effects Nice flavor evolution throughout the session Good introduction for newer consumers when dosed conservatively Cons Flower was drier than expected Cottonmouth showed up later in the session Effects didn’t last as long for Brandon compared to heavier hybrids Joint felt stronger than vaporizing, while vaporizing provided a slower, longer-lasting experience for us Candy Fumez isn’t trying to knock you into the couch. It’s the kind of strain you reach for when you still want to enjoy whatever you’re doing. Whether that’s firing up your favorite game, getting outside, or spending the evening laughing with friends, this one stayed surprisingly balanced from start to finish. If you’re in Utah and see Find by Tryke’s Candy Fumez , we’d say it’s worth checking out, especially if you’re looking for a flavorful hybrid that leans toward a brighter, happier experience without feeling overwhelming. Most of us spend our lives trying to fix ourselves. But what if the first step isn’t fixing anything at all? This week, Brandon shares a project he’s been quietly building that started with one simple idea: patterns matter more than labels. Instead of putting people into personality boxes, what if we paid attention to the behaviors, reactions, and habits that quietly shape our relationships every day? That conversation turns into something much bigger. We dive into why we feel the need to be right, how awareness changes communication, why arguments usually have nothing to do with winning, and how simply noticing your own patterns can completely change the way you interact with the people you care about. Along the way we also get into dating, parenting, martial arts, motorcycles, modern technology, emotional triggers, and why sometimes the biggest breakthrough comes from asking yourself one uncomfortable question: “Am I trying to understand… or am I just trying to be right?” If you’ve ever wanted to communicate better, understand yourself a little more clearly, or simply become more intentional with the people around you, this is a conversation worth sitting with. Why awareness is more powerful than self-judgment The difference between patterns and personality labels Why trying to be “right” usually costs more than it gives back How emotional states influence communication The hidden value of observing instead of reacting Lessons from dating events, parenting, and everyday conversations Why noticing small behaviors can create massive personal growth How changing what you pay attention to changes your entire experience Sometimes the biggest changes don’t come from becoming someone new. Sometimes they come from finally seeing what was there all along. Have a question or topic you’d love us to cover? Send it our way. We love building these conversations around the questions you’re actually asking. What happens when you take two classic strains and end up with something that doesn’t demand your attention, but gently pulls you into the present? This week we’re talking about Blueberry Headband , a strain that surprised us in all the right ways. We expected more of that classic “headband” pressure, but what we found was something much calmer. This one slowly quieted the mental chatter, softened the edges of the day, and made it incredibly easy to simply exist for a while. If your brain feels like it’s running twenty tabs at once, this episode might hit home. Our honest first impressions of Blueberry Headband The unique tea-like flavor with subtle berry notes Why the effects felt more calming than mentally stimulating How this strain helped quiet racing thoughts without knocking us out When we’d actually choose this strain over others Why slowing down can sometimes create more creativity than speeding up Genetics: Blueberry × Headband THC: 23.82% Top Terpenes: Terpinolene Pinene For us, Blueberry Headband started with a gentle pressure around the face before slowly moving into the head. Instead of delivering an intense cerebral experience, it created a calm, steady feeling that made everything feel… quieter. Not sleepy. Not couch locked. Just peaceful. This isn’t the strain we’d grab to brainstorm a business plan or dive into a complicated project. It’s the one we’d reach for after a long day when we want the constant mental noise to finally settle down. Think herbal tea with a light berry finish. The flavor stayed surprisingly consistent throughout the entire session, with earthy, slightly sweet notes and just enough blueberry to remind you where the genetics came from. Evening wind-down Campfires Hiking Longboard or scenic drives Listening to music Guided meditation Sitting outside and doing absolutely nothing Sometimes that’s exactly what you need. Blueberry Headband isn’t trying to be the loudest strain in the room. It’s the one that reminds you to slow down. This week starts with a joint, a conversation about why joints canoe, and somehow ends up exploring modern dating, loneliness, friendship, community, and why so many people feel disconnected despite being more connected than ever. We talk about the kind of cannabis events we’d actually want to attend, why sharing a joint creates a different kind of social experience, and how cannabis seems to naturally bring people together in ways alcohol often doesn’t. Along the way we get into dating culture, texting versus phone calls, voice memos, building meaningful connections, and Brandon’s growing passion project around helping people find community instead of just another app or service. It’s one of those episodes where the strain is great, but the conversation is the real reason you stayed. Why LA Pop Rocks keeps becoming a favorite daytime smoke The trick to preventing joints from canoeing Cannabis date nights and infused dinner ideas Why sharing cannabis feels different than sharing alcohol Creating spaces where people can actually connect Nerd nights, D&D, gaming, cosplay, and finding your people Aziz Ansari’s Modern Romance and what dating has become Why younger generations hate phone calls The rise of voice memos and why we love them Building tools instead of creating dependency Loneliness, community, and what we’ve lost socially Gym motivation, aging, testosterone, and staying healthy Corvette slander (sorry, not sorry) People aren’t necessarily lacking options. They’re lacking connection. We’ve built a world where you can instantly talk to anyone, anywhere, anytime. Yet a lot of people still feel isolated, unseen, and disconnected. The answer probably isn’t another app. It might just be more real conversations, more shared experiences, and more reasons to sit across from another human being and actually get to know them. A good joint is great. A good conversation is better. And when you can get both at the same time, that’s where the magic tends to happen. Keep the Mic on. Fuel the movement. What happens when a strain smells like a bag of candy, smokes smooth over a year after packaging, and somehow leaves a minty little surprise on the finish? This week we’re breaking down LA Pop Rocks , a flavorful indica-leaning strain that caught us off guard with its balance. It delivers sweet fruit-forward aromas, a surprisingly smooth smoke, and effects that feel social, relaxing, and uplifting without immediately gluing you to the couch. We dig into the genetics, terpene profile, flavor notes, and why this one became an easy recommendation for daytime or evening use if you’re looking for relaxation without feeling completely checked out. We also wander into road trip philosophy, dating events, Mario Kart drinking games, and the strange ways cannabis tends to make conversations go places you never expected. Breaking down LA Pop Rocks and our first impressions Sweet candy, fruit, cheese, and mint flavor notes Why this flower stayed sticky and fresh long after packaging Genetics: Triangle Kush Bx2 × Z Animal Terpenes: Beta-Caryophyllene, Limonene, and Humulene Effects: Euphoric, uplifting, social, and relaxing Why Brandon keeps reaching for heavier indicas lately Cannabis vs alcohol in social settings Road trips as the ultimate compatibility test The dating event idea we’d actually like to see happen Strain: LA Pop Rocks Genetics: Triangle Kush Bx2 × Z Animal Dominant Terpenes: Beta-Caryophyllene Limonene Humulene Reported Effects: Euphoria Relaxation Increased sociability Uplifted mood Minimal couch lock Flavor Notes: Sweet candy Fruity Light cheese funk Minty finish LA Pop Rocks is a good reminder that “indica” doesn’t always mean sleepy. This week’s Sesh starts with a simple idea: stories shape everything. The way we see the world, the people we trust, the beliefs we hold, and even the things we’re willing to fight over usually come down to the stories we’ve accepted as true. Sometimes those stories help us make sense of reality. Sometimes they become the thing that keeps us from seeing it clearly. From there, we wander through government distrust, politics, religion, media narratives, community, forgiveness, personal responsibility, and the challenge of trying to understand people who see the world completely differently than we do. We talk about why people can look at the exact same event and walk away with completely different conclusions. We explore how identity influences belief, how perception shapes reality, and why it’s becoming harder for people to have conversations without immediately dividing themselves into teams. Along the way we get into Christianity, Mormonism, race, forgiveness, political tribalism, human behavior, and the idea that every person is carrying their own version of reality based on the experiences that shaped them. As usual, we don’t solve any of the world’s problems. But we definitely spend some time poking at them. 😆 Why stories are one of the most powerful forces in human history Government trust, skepticism, and declassified information Pattern recognition and understanding people Political tribalism and identity The difference between facts, perception, and belief Property rights, protest, and personal responsibility Race, media narratives, and public perception Forgiveness and why it’s often more about healing yourself Christianity, Mormonism, and religious identity Why no two people experience the same belief system exactly the same way Community versus division The challenge of understanding perspectives that aren’t your own Most people aren’t reacting to reality. They’re reacting to the story they believe about reality. The more we understand the stories people carry, the easier it becomes to understand why they see the world the way they do. That doesn’t mean we have to agree. It just means we might stop assuming everyone who disagrees with us is the enemy. Keep the Mic on. Fuel the movement. Keep the conversation going. Some strains disappear before you’re supposed to record the episode. Root Beer GMO was one of those strains. 😆 Jesse brought home a bag for the show, and somewhere between “I’ll save some for the episode” and “Where did it all go?” there was basically nothing left except the nug we managed to hang onto for recording. That’s usually a pretty good sign. In this episode, we break down one of our favorite GMO crosses we’ve had in Utah and talk about why Root Beer GMO quickly became a repeat purchase. Why Root Beer GMO disappeared faster than expected The genetics behind this unique cross How GMO continues to be one of our favorite flavor foundations The surprisingly noticeable root beer notes hidden in the profile Why this strain shines in social settings Chatty strains versus distracting strains The terpene profile driving the experience How different consumption methods affect the overall experience Why some strains become automatic re-buys Utah flower quality and what Dragonfly continues to do well Strain: Root Beer GMO Genetics: Root Beer × GMO Grower: Dragonfly Wellness (Betty) Dominant Terpenes: β-Caryophyllene Humulene Limonene This isn’t one of those strains that punches you in the face with root beer from the first hit. The root beer notes show up more on the finish. The initial inhale brings the familiar funky, savory GMO character, but the longer you sit with it, the more those subtle root beer notes start creeping in through the aftertaste. It’s one of those strains where you keep going back for another hit because you’re trying to figure out exactly what you’re tasting. The word that kept coming up throughout this episode was chatty . Not distracted. Not scattered. Not bouncing off the walls. Chatty. Root Beer GMO felt like one of those strains that naturally keeps conversations flowing. Every topic led to another topic, then another story, then another rabbit hole. Before long, the episode turned into exactly the kind of conversation this strain seems built for. It’s social, uplifting, and happy without feeling overly energetic. That said, if you keep pushing it, the haze starts creeping in. The more we consumed, the more that classic “where was I going with this?” cloud started showing up. Not every great strain needs to knock you into the couch. Sometimes the best cannabis experiences are the ones that keep the conversation going, make you laugh a little harder, and leave you wondering where the last two hours went. That’s Root Beer GMO. This is one of those strains we’d happily keep around for game nights, hanging out with friends, creative conversations, and those evenings where the goal isn’t necessarily getting blasted. Some episodes are educational. Some are deep dives. And then there are episodes like this one where you sit down with a good friend, pass a bowl around, and let the conversation go wherever it wants. This week we’re joined by our buddy Preston Argyle for one of the most random, hilarious, and unexpectedly thoughtful conversations we’ve had in a while. We talk cannabis, first experiences with weed, ridiculous party stories, religion, community, personal growth, career frustrations, and somehow end up debating the logistics of having an anatomically impossible superpower. Because apparently that’s where the conversation needed to go. What starts as a laid-back smoke session turns into one of those conversations that bounces between laughing so hard your face hurts and accidentally stumbling into something meaningful. Preston’s cannabis journey and how he got started The difference between alcohol culture and cannabis culture Wild party stories that probably should have ended much worse than they did Why cannabis became a better fit than drinking Community, religion, and finding connection even when your beliefs evolve The challenge of staying true to yourself while maintaining relationships Work, purpose, and why so many people feel trapped by traditional employment How performance and value don’t always fit neatly into hourly pay structures Friendship, growth, and the people who shape our lives Several conversations that went completely off the rails in the best possible way The best conversations rarely follow a script. Sometimes you start by talking about cannabis, take a detour through terrible life decisions, somehow land in philosophy, and come out the other side with a better understanding of yourself and the people around you. That’s pretty much this entire episode. King’s Cup stories that escalated way faster than they should have Why Preston’s experience with cannabis looked different from most people A surprisingly honest conversation about faith, community, and belonging Brandon’s thoughts on work, productivity, and being measured by outcomes instead of hours More laughs than we can reasonably summarize in show notes Keep the Mic on. Not gonna lie, this is one of those strains that surprised us. When Jesse brought home Triple Stack from Dark Heart, neither of us had particularly high expectations. Based on past experiences, it probably wouldn’t have been the strain we reached for on the shelf. Then we cracked the jar open. Huge buds. Soft texture. Loud aroma. Good moisture. And after spending some time with it, we realized this one deserved a closer look. In this episode, we break down Triple Stack’s flavor, terpene profile, effects, and why it ended up becoming one of the bigger surprises we’ve had from a Utah grower lately. First impressions of Dark Heart’s Triple Stack Why this strain completely changed our expectations The mystery behind its unreleased genetics Flavor notes ranging from creamy vanilla and baked goods to funky cheese, fuel, and spice Terpene profile featuring β-Caryophyllene, Myrcene, Limonene, and Linalool Why slow-onset strains can sometimes create a longer-lasting experience How Triple Stack delivered relaxation without heavy sedation Why great budtenders are worth their weight in gold The importance of shopping by terpene profile instead of THC percentage alone The cannabis strains that continue to surprise us the most Grower: Dark Heart (Utah) Strain: Triple Stack Type: Indica-Hybrid Leaning Balanced Hybrid THC: Typically reported between 20-30% Top Terpenes: β-Caryophyllene, Myrcene, Limonene, Linalool Reported Flavor Notes: Vanilla dough, toasted nuts, berry, grape, fuel, cream, funky cheese, and spice. Triple Stack felt less like flipping a light switch and more like slowly turning down a dimmer. The onset was gradual. No racing thoughts. No anxiety. No heavy couch lock. Instead, it delivered a calm, clear-headed relaxation that seemed to melt tension out of the shoulders and upper back while keeping the mind engaged and present. It felt social, creative, and surprisingly functional. If you’ve ever wanted something that lets you appreciate a museum, wander an art gallery, play board games with friends, or simply enjoy a conversation without feeling glued to the couch, this strain might be worth exploring. A strain doesn’t have to hit like a freight train to be effective. Sometimes the best cannabis experiences are the ones that sneak up slowly, quiet the noise, relax the body, and let you stay fully present. Triple Stack was a great reminder of that. Keep the Mic on. This week’s Sesh starts in one place and somehow ends somewhere completely different, which is honestly how most great conversations go. We dive into Utah’s long history with prescription pills, share stories about pain medication, addiction, recovery, and how easily people can find themselves heading down a road they never intended to travel. From there, the conversation shifts into chronic pain, fitness, alcohol, personal responsibility, and the frustrating reality that sometimes the best solutions come from random people who’ve lived through the same problems rather than the professionals you expected to help. Then things take a turn into dating, relationships, identity, self-worth, and the strange expectations we place on ourselves and each other. We talk about modern dating, why genuine connection feels harder than ever, how people confuse job titles and income with value, and why many of us are still carrying stories about who we think we’re supposed to be. Along the way we explore friendship, fatherhood, religion, community, personal growth, networking culture, leadership, and why helping other people often ends up helping ourselves just as much. Utah’s long history with prescription pill abuse Pain medication, addiction, and recovery stories Why movement often helps chronic pain more than medication The surprising similarities between dating and video games How self-worth gets tangled up with money and careers Dating apps, modern relationships, and connection Fatherhood, purpose, and personal growth Why community matters more than networking Leadership, hiring, and building better workplaces The stories we tell ourselves about who we are One Thing to remember, Most of us spend a lot of time trying to become the person we think we’re supposed to be. Sometimes the better question is whether that story was ever ours to begin with. Keep the Mic on. Fuel the movement. Keep the conversation going. What happens when you cross old-school orange genetics with modern gas-heavy funk? You get Ecto Cooler, a strain that hits like a citrus soda spiked with rocket fuel. In this episode, we crack open the genetics, terpene profile, flavors, and effects behind one of the most memorable citrus-forward cultivars on dispensary shelves. Named after the iconic ‘80s drink, Ecto Cooler has built a reputation for delivering bright, uplifting effects while keeping enough body relaxation in the mix to stay balanced. Whether you’re chasing flavor, focus, or just curious about what makes this strain stand out, we’ve got you covered. The genetics behind Ecto Cooler Why citrus-heavy strains continue to be fan favorites The terpene profile that drives its aroma and effects Commonly reported effects and who might enjoy them Why the same strain can feel different from person to person How Ecto Cooler compares to other citrus-forward cultivars Type: Sativa-dominant Hybrid Genetics: California Orange × Gorilla Biscuit Common Aromas & Flavors: Orange Lemon citrus Pine Fuel Sweet gas Commonly Reported Effects: Uplifted Focused Creative Happy Relaxed While terpene results vary by grower and batch, Ecto Cooler is most often associated with: Limonene Myrcene Caryophyllene Pinene (in some cultivars) Linalool (occasionally present in smaller amounts) Ecto Cooler is a great example of why strain names only tell part of the story. The real experience comes from the plant’s chemistry, the terpene profile, cannabinoid content, and your own biology. One person’s productive daytime strain can be another person’s movie-and-couch strain. That’s why at Cannabis School we always say: start low, go slow, and pay attention to how your body responds. This episode starts where all highly intellectual conversations should, ancient civilizations, hyper-advanced lost technology, underground civilizations, interdimensional weirdness… and eventually bathroom breaks. Brandon and Jesse take a completely normal stroll through theories about the pyramids, Atlantis, Petra, ley lines, Skinwalker Ranch, Bigfoot, ultra terrestrials, the Book of Enoch, and whether reality is way stranger than we’ve been told. Somewhere between discussing classified documents, weird government studies, and possible portal creatures, the conversation takes its usual Sesh turn into body weight, random life updates, social chaos, and the kind of completely unhinged side tangents that make this show what it is. If you’ve ever sat around with friends, passed something good, and ended up asking, “Wait… what if everything we know is incomplete?” this one’s for you. Conspiracy? Maybe. Curiosity? Definitely. Come hang out. Keep the Mic on. Fuel the movement. Keep the conversation going. We keep a running list of tools and brands we personally enjoy and actually use. Star Wars nerds, this one’s for you. 🌌 This week we cracked into Skywalker OG , and yeah… if a strain could hand you a lightsaber, tell you to trust the Force, and then make you talk for 45 straight minutes about life, this would be it. This one surprised us. Skywalker OG hit with that weirdly perfect combo of clear-headed chill + upbeat social energy , which is honestly a dangerous combination if you already like talking as much as we do. No couch-lock zombie vibes here. More like “let’s have a deep conversation, start three business ideas, and somehow end up discussing traumatic childhood nut injuries.” As one does. We break down the flavor, terpene profile, why this strain feels like wearing a weird invisible fuzzy helmet, and whether this is actually a daytime hybrid worth keeping in regular rotation. Spoiler: it kind of slaps. In this episode: Why Skywalker OG feels weirdly Force-sensitive The “invisible helmet” high (you’ll get it when it hits) Clear-headed social energy without the mental fog Cottonmouth that comes in swinging Why this might be one of our favorite true hybrids Pain relief potential (but not the knockout kind) Whether cannabis actually makes you sleepy… or if you’re just exhausted Joint rolling rabbit holes Why micro joints may be the move A very real Cannabis School live joint-rolling event idea Skywalker OG quick breakdown: Lineage: Mazar x Blueberry OG Top reported terpenes: Myrcene, Beta-Caryophyllene, Limonene, Humulene, Terpinolene Reported vibe: Social, upbeat, mentally clear, chill, chatty Watch for: Cottonmouth and accidentally becoming the friend who will not stop talking If you like hybrids that actually feel balanced instead of pretending to, this one deserves a shot.
