Mato Q&A SMS Program

Mato AI operates Mato Q&A, a non-marketing listener question program for podcast audiences. Podcast listeners can text questions to a participating show's Mato Q&A number and receive consent prompts, submission confirmations, and limited Q&A status updates.

Sender and Messaging Purpose

Sender
Mato AI, operating the Mato Q&A listener question service at heymato.com.
Recipients
Podcast listeners who text a Mato Q&A show number or text START to a Mato Q&A number.
Purpose
Submit listener questions, confirm SMS consent, and receive limited updates if a question is reviewed, answered, or featured.

How SMS Consent Works

  1. 1. A listener learns about a participating show's Mato Q&A number from a podcast episode, show page, host announcement, or public Mato Q&A page.
  2. 2. The listener texts a question to the Mato Q&A number or texts START to begin the SMS opt-in flow.
  3. 3. Mato Q&A replies with a confirmation prompt. If the listener sent a question, the question is held as pending consent.
  4. 4. The listener must reply YES before the question is submitted and before any follow-up Q&A SMS updates are sent.
  5. 5. The listener can reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help at any time.
