In this episode the FM3 are back in the hearse yet again! Still mourning the passing of the one and only Reggie Bannister, The guys saddle up to watch the action packed and super fun Phantasm 3! This threequel is packed with so many of Jef, Josh and Brian's favorite things that it is hard to deny that it is nothing short of a masterpiece! Reggie is in full "Hero Mode" in this addition to the franchise and he might be the single coolest bald movie hero ever! There was much to talk about so the crew chatted for a while and were having a blast recording this episode! This week the FM3 get back in the hearse with the Tall Man celebrating Reggie Bannister and the Phantasm films. But something is amiss, the reality the guys know is now filled with even more lurkers, grave diggers, spheres and yep even telekinetic kids. Plus this installment has lots of influences from everyone's favorite horror movies of the time as well as Don Coscarelli's signature weirdness. Sure they might not have fully stuck the landing on this one but Jef, Josh and Brian have faith and know it was almost certainly the pesky studio heads. Regardless the crew has a Phantasm 3 episode coming soon and the Tall Man's silver balls are gonna be swangin' !

In this episode the FM3 are transported back to a hellish existence, the good old bad old west. One of the podcasts Top Dawg Patreon patrons chose the folk horror film "Bone Tomahawk" for Jef, Josh and Brian to watch and chew on like some dusty old jerky. This film is both well done and realistically brutal which is a testament to the director, cast and crew. If you love your horror with a cowboy hat, a splash of blood and guts and some fire roasted pork and beans then this is the movie you have been waiting for. Enjoy!

In honor of the late great Reggie Bannister, The FM3 decided it was just the right time to head over to Morningstar funeral home and pay their respects. A collective favorite and classic horror film the crew couldn't believe they had waited this long to start doing episodes on this trippy ass franchise. Don Coscarelli with a devoted cast & crew with very little money and some crazy ideas truly made their mark in horror and introduced the world to one of the coolest villains and one of the best horror heroes ever! Reggie truly lived and died and lived again by the old saying "Ice cream business in the front, blasting space lurkers in the back". His friend Jody was cool too but he had too much hair maybe was just kicking ass in a dream so does it count? Does it really count? Regardless, listeners get ready because Jef, Josh and Brian are finally dipping their spheres into the Phantasm goo!

In this episode one of Forever Midnight's wonderful Top Dawg Patreon Patrons picked Wes Craven's "New Nightmare" for the guys. Since the FM3 have not really done episodes on most of the Nightmare On Elm Street Franchise, this was a slight breach of etiquette but Jef, Josh and Brian were not complaining. As big fans of Mr. Krueger the crew knew this was gonna be an easy and fun episode. At least that's what they thought but they had actually been asleep all along and have been living a nightmare being chased by the finger bladed one. As long as they don't die in this waking nightmare everything should be just fine. Remember kids, don't fall asleep.

In this episode Josh digs deep into his bag of flicks and chooses the 1984 Sci-Fi Horror Mind Crime filled "DreamScape". One of Josh's favorite nostalgia jams, this star studded adventure is often remembered because of its A Nightmare on Elm Street vibes which may or may not have been copied straight from Wes Craven's original script for his wild dream demon movie that dropped the same year. If you have not seen it and love old 80's weirdo horror/adventure movies you should check this one out if only to see the similarities to Fred Krueger's debut. Plus Dennis Quaid is a smug prick as always. Sweet Dreams!

In this episode Brian finally picks one of his favorite films and favorite remakes for that matter, The 2018 "re-imagining' of the 1977 Italian Classic "Suspiria". Now normally Brian usually picks lots of top tier trash but he wanted to give the guys and the listeners something decent and he has wanted to talk about this one since he first saw it. Of course this remake/reboot is not for everyone and most Italian horror purists probably hate it, but Brian says give it a chance, watch it at least twice and sit back and listen as the FM3 all have different opinions about this one. The guys hope you like this episode but if you don't, you can take it up with one of the Three Mother's. They will make you dance until you like it and your feet are bleeding, so why not just like it? You can thank Brian later, watch It now!

In this episode Jef, Josh and Brian crack open a fun little book known the world over and under as the "Necronomicon Ex-Mortis". This creepy tome also known as "The Book Of The Dead", can conjure demons and those assholes will fuck up your life. With that in mind, The FM3 decided to read the fabled incantation just for shits and giggles. BAD IDEA. They should have learned from the many old and new "Evil Dead" films that once you utter those magical words, the devil's deuce is about to hit the fan. Sure enough the demons are pissed and so they rained down upon the heads of these brave podcast hosts hundreds of gallons of blood and a mean and torturous tale for the characters in the film and anyone watching it.

It's summer, the sun's blazin' outside so Jef figured the boys were due for some swimming. After all, it must be safe to go back in the sea after all these years. So he grabbed the Forever Midnight crew, packed their dunk trunks and headed down to the swampy lagoons of Florida for some summer time snorkeling. Little did they know, lurking just beneath the depths was a pissed off monstrous killing machine!!! One by one members of the Sea World Aquatic Fun Park started biting it (figuratively and quite literally). With so much bravery, The FM3 sprung into action, gathered their harpoon guns and grenades and prepared to battle the massive beast known as "Jaws"!! It was a wild underwater battle and Jef, Josh and Brian almost lost their lives to the wild superimposed beast. Luckily they were ready for whatever this adventure had to offer and that ended up being a rather large shark explosion and a trail of dead Sea World employees. All in all it was one of the guys' better escapades. Then they headed home and watched "Jaws 3-D" and talked about it here, so come on, don't be afraid just dive in and listen!!

In this episode the FM3 decides it's time to make a trip back to Cuesta Verde Estates, the place where a whole ass house ate its tail because it was built on top of butt load of dead people. Hoping to catch a glimpse of some cursed ghost activities, the crew happens upon a strange religious man who compels them to go to "The Other Side" so they can watch Poltergeist 2 (His Favorite Movie). It turns out this creep just wants Josh's Life Force and wouldn't you know it, this dude is also starring IN the movie being a regular old A-hole. Luckily with the help of a cool ass indigenous medicine man named Taylor and Craig T Nelson's mullet, Jef, Josh and Brian get ejected from the nether realm and now they are card carrying "Angels", but like real life angels not the wack up in heaven ones! The FM3 were shopping for some furniture for the Scary Movie Research Center when they all fazed into a realm of liminal weirdness, a void known only as "BACKROOMS". Seemingly alone in an endless labyrinth of hallways and rooms the guys hear sounds occasionally and eventually find themselves face to face with a literal void dweller, an unsettling freakish version of a human whose sole purpose was to pursue Jef, Josh and Brian. After what seemed like hours of running for their lives hunted by this thing, the crew fell through a seemingly solid wall and back into reality. Tired and with pants filled with shit, The hosts of Forever Midnight sat down to record and document the ordeal they just went through. Hoping to make sense of or at the very least make sure that they never visit the "BACKROOMS" again. This episode is that recording session. Listen at your own risk...

It's that time of year folks! One of the podcasts top dawg Patrons has a birthday tradition of choosing 2 Tales From The Crypt episodes for the FM3 to watch and chat about! Jef, Josh and Brian love having these episodes curated for them and couldn't wait to hop back in the crypt and see what campy goodness this wonderful Patron chose this time around! First off the guys checked out "Korman's Kalamity" (Season 2 - Episode 13) about a wacky comic book artist drawing some monsters that may in fact be a little too real. Next up the crew watched "House Of Horror" (Season 5 - Episode 7) about some horrible frat boys torturing some noobs for pledge week and finding out they done fucked up! This is a lengthy episode for two half hour TV shows but you know how these guys roll! Side quests about candy, the little rascals and the finer points of smearing dog shit all over your favorite 80's blouse! So you know it's gonna be a fun one! Enjoy!

In this episode Brian does the unthinkable and finally picks the Original 1977 "Suspiria". This Italian horror classic has been on the list for an episode since the FM3 started this podcast many many moons and meatballs ago. After last week's episode "Inferno" which is the second of the 3 Mother's Trilogy by Argento, Brian needed to go back and start at the top with what is his personal favorite Italian horror film. There are so many reasons why this one floats to the tippy top of the heap of mediocre Italian horror and if you have not seen it yet, you are truly missing out. Argento is a master and nobody's movies look like early Argento horror. Brian, Jef and Josh were really happy to just watch a few decent movies after a long list of duds. It's a Nice! But do not fret dear listeners, Josh's pick is coming soon and the guys will be right back on the Charles BAND wagon! So enjoy it for now!

The FM3 are off again to beautiful Italy at the request of one of their amazing Top Dog Patreons! This time around Jef, Josh and Brian are checking out Argento's "Inferno" from 1980! The guys were excited to finally watch the master of Italian Horror's less talked about installment in his 3 Mother's Witch Trilogy. As huge fans of Argento's film "Suspiria" the crew could only imagine the vivid colors, crazy deaths and a few confusing moments and they were not let down. This beautiful flick is one you should all check if you have not yet. Fire up the cauldron and get that sketti cooking because the witches are in roast mode and no one is safe!

In this episode Jef "jumps the shark" and picks a decent movie for a change of spooky scenery. He picked 1990's "The Exorcist 3" aka "Legion" written and directed by the one and only William Peter Blatty. This film is rare in that the 3rd installment of the franchise is actually good! The true hero of this movie's thumbs up status is one of the best damn actors ever to grace a screen, Mr. Brad Dourif! And while this flick is filled with great shots, cool scares and a killer sound design, Mr. Blatty also did an amazing job directing even if the picture released was not entirely how he wanted it. If you have never seen it, be sure to check it out because Jef, Josh and Brian think you might like it! Enjoy!

In this episode Josh leads the FM3 down a path the guys have travelled before...A sweet looking poster, a beloved director all wrapped up in some 1970's horror - "DEAD OF NIGHT"! What could possibly go wrong? After all, a disastrous trip to the Vietnam War has never looked so fun as the great times the family in this film are having! Their beloved one and only son has returned from death to sit in his favorite rocking chair upstairs annoying his dad, disappearing to shoot up that crazy drug blood that is all the rage and occasionally strangling his Father's favorite doggy. Plus He even drives like a bat out of hell, so folks watch your poor legs as this cool ghoul rips around town trying to find a shallow grave to settle down and call home! The Monkey's paw of the story is you wish for another banger from the legendary Bob Clark and instead you wake up from a mediocre "DEATHDREAM"!

In this episode Jef gets to choose a flick to watch and chat about and after the string of stinkers and vastly unknown movies, He thought The FM3 should finally tackle a seminal horror film. Something everyone knows for a change. Travelling all the way from 80's Italy comes 1985's beloved "Demons". The boys have been wanting to do a proper episode on this classic forever and there is no better time than 2026.
