Voice of the People

As Israelis prepare to head to the polls, President Isaac Herzog joins host Maayan Hoffman for the inaugural episode of the Voice of the People Podcast. In this conversation, the President reflects on Israel’s political and social challenges, the importance of safeguarding the democratic process, and the need for national healing at a critical moment for the country. Looking beyond the elections, President Herzog shares his perspective on Israeli society, Jewish leadership today, and the challenges facing our people at this moment. The Voice of the People Podcast brings together voices from across our Council to explore the ideas, conversations, and collective efforts shaping our shared Jewish future.

Over the past year, Voice of the People Council Members from around the world have been working together across one shared mission: to strengthen Jewish life and shape the future of the Jewish people.Built around three core pillars - leadership, network, and action - the Council brings together courageous and visionary leaders, builds a trusted global network across communities and sectors, and transforms ideas into practical, high-impact solutions that respond to both immediate and long-term needs.Throughout this cohort, members have challenged assumptions, explored urgent issues facing Jewish communities worldwide, and begun turning ideas into real initiatives and action. With the participation of the President of Israel, H.E Isaac Herzog, alongside our partners and Council Members from around the world, experience how the Council’s work is coming to life, and hear a selection of initiatives now moving into action, alongside a reflection on the journey and work to date.
