Five brothers from Medicine Hat, Alberta. Sixteen kids between them. And somehow, a three-episode run on Family Feud Canada. The Hale brothers get together for funny, honest conversations about growing up together, fatherhood, movies, TV, travel, sports and whatever else has taken over the group chat. Five different personalities. Sibling arguments, childhood stories, questionable opinions and the occasional useful insight. It’s our guys’ night, but recorded. Hosted by Troy Hale, Bradley Hale, Brock Hale, Tyson Hale and Tanner Hale.

Five brothers from Medicine Hat, Alberta. Three episodes of Family Feud Canada. $10,695 in winnings. And a few answers we’re still trying to explain. We tell the story of how we got on Family Feud Canada, from a Backstreet Boys audition video filmed in one take to meeting host Gerry Dee and facing the pressure of Fast Money. Along the way: Brock buzzes in before his brain catches up, Tanner defends “specifically chickens,” and a question about microwaving hot dogs becomes a lasting source of disagreement. We share what happened behind the scenes, including travel and hotel arrangements, lunch with Gerry, keeping the results secret from our wives, and why we split the winnings with our sister, Shelby. Our dad also calls mid-recording to discuss an electrical outlet and a toilet seat. Naturally, we answer. And six years later, Troy and Tanner discover they’ve both been blaming themselves for losing the final game. At least we got some GIFs out of it. Hosted by Troy Hale, Bradley Hale, Brock Hale, Tyson Hale, and Tanner Hale.
Who was the favourite child? Who caused the most trouble? And how do five brothers grow up in the same family with such different memories? In the first episode of The Hale Brothers Podcast, Troy, Brad, Brock, Tyson and Tanner compare notes on growing up together in Medicine Hat, Alberta. You might recognize them from their three-episode run on Family Feud Canada. Now they have their own questions to argue about. It started when youngest brother Tanner moved home and wanted to spend more time with his four brothers, learn from their experiences as fathers and make those hangouts happen. With 16 children between them, there’s plenty to discuss. First, though: what kind of family produced these guys? This episode includes: The favourite child, the troublemakers and the brother who defended everyone A paper route that secretly became an excuse to meet a girl Becoming the oldest brother at home when the older ones moved away Inheriting your brothers’ opinions about basketball and punk music Happy childhoods, difficult teenage years and things siblings don’t always notice Disney soundtracks and the ’90s songs their own kids now love Funny family stories, sibling arguments and a few unexpectedly honest moments. It’s our guys night, but out loud.
