If you have ever felt defeated when asking for help from your doctor because everything looks ‘normal’ this is your validation podcast ! Welcome to The Well Women; a health, hormone optimization, and wellness podcast that takes you inside my journey to help women feel heard, validated, informed and ultimately amazing in their bodies again. I’m Olenka, an Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner turned women’s wellness and hormone health specialist. I want to take you into my clinic so you can see and hear the conversations I have with patients, their frustrations, their stories and their transformations to show you that you’re not alone in this. Not just perimenopause and menopause, but everything from irregular cycles, hormone imbalance, GLP1 medications, peptides, lifestyle, botox and medical aesthetics, nothing is off the table. This is a space for validation, honesty, hope and excitement that you can feel better too. There is no gatekeeping about treatments, services or medications and I will try to bridge evidence-based medicine with my real-life experiences while stripping away the hype, trends, fear and misinformation around women’s health and hormones. If you’ve ever been dismissed because your bloodwork looks ‘normal’ but you know in your gut something is going on, you’re in the right place. My goal is simple: to help you feel seen, understood, and supported in getting back to feeling like yourself again !

Your period just ended... and now it's back again two weeks later?! If you're staring at your calendar wondering what is happening to my body? , you're not alone. In this episode, Olenka opens up about experiencing this herself and shares the exact conversations she's having with women in the clinic every day who are asking the same question. Join Olenka for a real, behind-the-scenes conversation about irregular periods, perimenopause symptoms, and what changing cycles can actually mean. She breaks down why periods can become unpredictable during the menopausal transition, why symptoms do not always follow a neat timeline, and why being told everything is "normal" can leave women feeling dismissed and frustrated. If you've ever felt like something is changing but couldn't quite put your finger on it, this episode is for you. In this episode, we discuss: • Why periods can suddenly start coming every 2 weeks during perimenopause • Why regular periods do not automatically mean your hormones are "fine" • Common symptoms women experience during the perimenopausal transition • Why "normal" does not always mean you should keep suffering • Treatment approaches and tools that can help support symptoms Medical Disclaimer: The information provided on this website, podcast, and community, including The Well Women and all related content, is for general educational and informational purposes only.
