🎙️WITHOUT A CUE EPISODE 81🔥WITHOUT A CUE EPISODE 81 is here with a full NFL Week 1 recap, 49ers vs. Rams, Patriots vs. Seahawks, Brock Purdy, Drake Maye, Drew Lock, early NFL awards predictions, and a bracket of the greatest sports moments ever.We start with San Francisco’s win over the Los Angeles Rams and, naturally, THE SUBSTATION is back in the conversation. The injuries keep piling up, the parlays were in full effect for the Rams, and this had all the makings of America’s trap game. Commissioner Soy Sauce called the 49ers to win, though, so the propaganda train survives another week. Then we move to Patriots vs. Seahawks, which spent most of the night looking like a game specifically designed to put America to sleep. That was until Drew Lock came in and started making plays. On the other side, Drake Maye had a fourth quarter that left us asking one very important question:Did Drake Drake Maye Maye have a parlayyyy? From there we get into the usual Without A Cue yappage before making our way-too-early NFL season award predictions. We give our picks AND dark horses for MVP, Offensive Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, Rookie of the Year and more. Some are reasonable. Some are agenda driven. All will absolutely be used against us later. Then Buddaz gets control of the SPORTS MOMENTS BRACKET.We put some of the greatest NFL and NBA moments ever head-to-head and make Buddaz decide what advances. Iconic touchdowns, championship moments, legendary calls, unbelievable comebacks and some of the most memorable plays in sports history all get put on trial. And because this is Without A Cue, there’s plenty of completely unnecessary yappage scattered throughout the episode before we somehow find a way to sneak another draft in at the end.NFL Week 1 is already delivering storylines, agendas, conspiracy theories and questionable quarterback decisions.Respectfully, we’re just here to document it.
🎙️WITHOUT A CUE EPISODE 79🔥WITHOUT A CUE EPISODE 79 — ONE OF THE OFFSEASONS OF ALL TIMEThe San Francisco 49ers have officially completed one of the offseasons of all time… and at this point, we have only one explanation: THE SUBSTATION HAS GAINED CONSCIOUSNESS.What started as our investigation into the mysterious wave of 49ers injuries has now evolved into something much bigger. Kyle Shanahan gets injured in a car accident. Brandon Aiyuk’s relationship with the organization completely falls apart, leaving him away from the team and on the reserve/left squad list. 49ers owner Jed York gets arrested in Ohio and pleads no contest to reduced misdemeanor charges. And NOW Daejon Love gets arrested after federal authorities allege he spent years pretending to be a San Francisco 49ers player while scamming women out of more than $1 million.Coincidence? The boys are asking questions. Then we finally attempt to talk about ACTUAL FOOTBALL with our full NFL season preview. Why does it feel like everybody suddenly forgot how good Justin Jefferson is? Who are we buying this season, who are we fading, and which teams are being completely overlooked?Fantasy football season is officially here too, so we break down some of our favorite sleepers, late-round targets and players who could end up winning leagues. One week away from real NFL football. We are SO back.
WITHOUT A CUE EPISODE 78 Episode 78 is basically proof that sports, music, the internet, and society as a whole might be cooked. We unfortunately listened to Pat McAfee’s album so you don’t have to. Somehow nobody in that building pulled him aside before it dropped, and we need answers. Then we get into the Mount Rushmore of Kanye memes, including the legendary “It Ain’t Ralph Tho,” before turning our attention to the NFL. Training camp has been full of fights, including Scott Steiner’s son getting active and Joe Burrow getting mixed up in it, and we’re officially calling for the return of old-school football. Let them fight. Terrion Arnold still has a job, Christian Wilkins somehow doesn’t, and we need to know exactly what bro did. From there, we investigate the Newman family and one of the craziest family parlays we’ve ever seen. Julian Newman’s dad might need to be banned from basketball entirely. At 30:40, we lock in our Week 1 Play of the Pod with MyBookie. We went back to them and told them the boys needed MORE, so now when you sign up using code SOYSAUCE , you can get the $500 bet-back bonus PLUS a $25 sportsbook free play . Then it’s fantasy football and NFL yappage before things get existential: everybody is disconnected. We make the case that life was genuinely better before every person on Earth was staring at a screen 24/7. We finish with a Toxic Song Draft featuring some of the most diabolical music ever recorded, then close the show with Without A Cue — weekly yappage, completely unnecessary debates, and takes submitted by the people on our Instagram story. We start with Royce White and Enes Kanter declaring for the WNBA Draft before diving into the Julie Tétart conversation. What would happen if the transgender European basketball player came to the WNBA? Would she dominate, would a team actually draft her and would the media circus become bigger than the basketball itself? Russell Westbrook has officially retired, so it is finally time to settle the debate: Russ is a top WHAT point guard of all time? We rank his legacy, revisit the triple double years and ask how differently NBA history looks if the Thunder never broke up the Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and James Harden big three. Then we build the Mount Rushmore of sixth men and take it even further by creating an entire starting five made exclusively out of legendary sixth men. We also get into the DiJonai Carrington foul and the Indiana Fever coach seemingly folding the moment she was asked about it. Was she protecting her player, protecting herself or simply refusing to say what everybody watching the game already saw? On the football side, the Seahawks are getting the Hard Knocks treatment, which confused us because we thought that show was supposed to be reserved for bad teams. From there, we give our NFL season outlook, talk division races, teams we trust, teams we absolutely do not trust and some futures we are already watching before Week 1. We also run through NFL futures and betting lines on MyBookie as they officially stamp Without A Cue with a sponsorship. The season has not even started yet, but the takes, tickets and future regret are already being prepared. https://bit.ly/joinwithSOY (Promo code SOY) We close the episode with a famous-person song draft where the only rule is that none of our picks can actually be musical artists. Who has the voice, personality and unnecessary confidence to make a hit record with absolutely no musical résumé? All of that plus plenty more completely unplanned Without A Cue weekly yappage with Soy Sauce and Buddaz. #WithoutACue #SportsPodcast #NBA #WNBA #NFL #RussellWestbrook #SeattleSeahawks #HardKnocks #nflpodcast #fantasyfootball #NFLFutures #Podcast And WITHOUT A CUE IS OFFICIALLY READY FOR FOOTBALL SEASON.
WITHOUT A CUE EPISODE 76 FOOTBALL IS OFFICIALLY BACK and Episode 76 might be our biggest NFL episode of the offseason. We have to start with Justin Herbert because apparently our franchise quarterback has other things on his mind right now. Herbert was spotted looking a little too lovey dovey with Madison Beer on the practice field and listen we respect the game but BRO CAN WE GET A PLAYOFF WIN FIRST? Chargers fans have been waiting for Herbert to take that next step in the postseason and meanwhile this man is out here having what looks like a Hallmark movie moment at training camp. We discuss Herbert’s priorities, whether love is about to unlock MVP Herbert or completely destroy the Chargers season, and why quarterbacks simply cannot be trusted once celebrities start showing up to practice. Then we travel up the coast to San Francisco because it is officially time to put the tin foil hats on. The 49ers have dealt with what feels like an absolutely ridiculous amount of injuries over the years and now we are asking the important question. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON AT THAT PRACTICE FACILITY? We get into the theories surrounding the facility, the nearby 5G towers, the never ending injuries, and whether we are witnessing the greatest coincidence in NFL history or something that deserves a full investigation from the Without A Cue research department. We are not saying 5G is destroying ACLs. We are simply asking questions. Very irresponsible questions. More importantly, WE FINALLY HAVE FOOTBALL TO TALK ABOUT. The first preseason game has officially been played which means the NFL offseason is basically over and it is time for our BIG NFL PREVIEW. We go around the league and give our division winner predictions heading into the season. Which favorites are actually worth believing in? Which teams are being completely overhyped? Which divisions could get weird? Which teams are about to disappoint everybody? And which team are we willing to plant our flag on before the season even begins? Fantasy football season is also officially here so we touch on our early thoughts heading into draft season. Players we love, players we do not trust, situations we are watching throughout preseason and the inevitable fantasy decisions that will have us questioning our intelligence by Week 3. Of course we could not just have a normal football conversation. We head back into the kitchen and CHEF UP SOME DRAFTS before putting our football knowledge to the ultimate test by building fictional NFL teams. We are taking characters who have absolutely no business playing professional football and figuring out exactly where they belong on the field because this is apparently what years of watching the NFL has prepared us for. Add in our weekly nonsense, completely unnecessary debates, questionable football analysis, side conversations that go absolutely nowhere and an unhealthy amount of YAP and you have Episode 76. The preseason has started. Fantasy football is here. The predictions are locked in. The tin foil hats are on. Justin Herbert is in love. And WITHOUT A CUE IS OFFICIALLY READY FOR FOOTBALL SEASON.
🎙️ Without a Cue Episode 50Hosted by Soy Sauce Sports and BuddazEpisode 50 is here and we had to recap the Super Bowl… and yeah, it was ass. Just not a good game. We talk about what went wrong, what had us heated, and why Will Campbell was playing like somebody definitely had a parlay riding on it.We also get into the halftime show conversations with Bad Bunny at the Super Bowl and Kid Rock performing at a Turning Point USA event, and why you should be able to enjoy both without everything turning political. Not everything has to be political and we are tired of people acting like it does. This episode also covers the Stefon Diggs drama at the Super Bowl and the headlines involving Cardi B, plus our discussion on the reports surrounding James Pierce Jr. and WNBA player Rakia Jackson and why the situation is not a good look at all.We close things out with a TV theme song draft and our Starting Five of TV dads. Without a Cue Podcast Episode 48 hosted by Soy Sauce and Buddaz This is one of those episodes where nothing is off limits and everything somehow connects. We open the show talking about the Bill Belichick Hall of Fame snub and how insane it is that the greatest coach of all time is even being debated in that way. From there we get into Shedeur Sanders making the Pro Bowl and what that really means for his trajectory, the hype, and how the league and media are choosing their new faces. The sports talk keeps rolling with a wild Seahawks versus Patriots Super Bowl prediction that turns into a deeper conversation about legacy teams, narratives, and how much the league loves a good full circle moment. From football we pivot straight into hip hop when Jim Jones claims nobody would know Kid Cudi if it were not for the Day N Nite remix, which opens the floodgates for a full on reality check and leads directly into a Fat Joe versus Jim Jones capathon where statements get reviewed and credibility gets tested. We switch gears with some classic Without a Cue chaos by drafting the best Black dad divorce songs, because pain sounds different when it comes with wisdom and a grill. Then we lock in our Moonlight of the Month for January before getting into one of the most important debates of the episode building the ultimate Pokémon Starting Five and defending our picks like championships are on the line.Episode 48 is sports, music, culture, nostalgia, and jokes all wrapped into one long conversation with no script, no cue cards, and no filters. If you like hot takes, dumb arguments that somehow make sense, and podcasts that feel like a group chat that should probably stay private, this one is for you.
This week on the pod, we start with the uncomfortable truth: USA Basketball vs the world is not the debate people think it is. If we’re being honest, the world might wipe the floor with us right now — and we explain why. Then things get a little weird in LA. We talk LeBron, Jeanie Buss, and the comment about drafting Bronny being “a favor.” Respectfully… what does that even mean? We break down the optics, the power dynamics, and why the whole situation feels off, even if nobody wants to say it out loud. After that, it’s full NFL yappage. The head coach carousel is still spinning, jobs are opening, jobs are closing, and we debate which situations actually make sense. To cap it all off, Tom Brady and Bill Belichick somehow manage to stay linked forever — this time with their girlfriends being spotted together. At this point, the universe is just confirming what we already knew: greatest QB–coach duo of all time. All that plus weekly nonsense, reckless opinions, and filling in the blanks the internet is afraid to.Tap in. 🎙️

CJ Stroud absolutely had a parlay. There’s no other explanation. 10 turnovers in two games is not football, it’s FanDuel content. The Patriots advance after taking down the Texans, and suddenly New England is back like it’s a bad reboot nobody asked for. In Buffalo, things got even darker. The Broncos knock out the Bills, Josh Allen definitely had a parlay, and Bo Nix might’ve injured himself celebrating in the locker room. Took a knee? Slipped? Pulled a hammy popping champagne? We don’t know. We just know the vibes are bad. All roads lead to Patriots vs Broncos in the AFC Championship. Football terrorism is alive and well. On the NFC side, we look ahead to Rams vs Seahawks, because apparently the league decided chaos deserved a coastal sequel. No scripts. No PR spin. Just reckless takes, bad energy, and playoff football doing playoff football things. Tap in. Argue with us in the comments. And remember — some of these quarterbacks are not beating the parlay allegations.

We unpack that entire situation the only way we know how.Somewhere in between Trump allegedly kidnapped the President of Venezuela because why not and we attempt to make sense of that in real time. All of that plus a full weekly roundup of Without A Cue yappage unfiltered takes reckless opinions and playoff energy at its peak.No scriptNo filterPlayoff football Without A Cue
This one hits a little different.Fresh off the ball drop at 3:00 AM on New Year’s Day, the boys sat down slightly under the influence, slightly reckless, but as always respectful. No warm-up, no sleep, no guardrails. We break down the All-NBA Quarter-Century Team that just dropped, argue what they got right, what they absolutely butchered, and then take matters into our own hands by building our own NFL Quarter-Century Team. From there?Yeah… the structure disappears. The takes get louder, the logic gets looser, and the nonsense starts to snowball but somehow it still makes sense. Kind of. Respectfully.New year. Same chaos.Press play. 🍾🎙️
WITHOUT A CUE — EPISODE 42 Christmas Eve Eve Special 🎄 It’s our unofficial Christmas episode, dropping right before the holidays, and it’s exactly as unhinged as it should be. Tom Brady is posting 1-800-273-8255 like it’s a cry for help after his ex-wife got remarried. The tough part? The new husband is a judo instructor… and yeah, he’d probably beat Tom’s ass. We unpack the sad-posting era of the GOAT and ask when it officially became too much. DK Metcalf mushed a fan at a Detroit Lions game, and honestly? We’re pro-player on this one. Fans are way too comfortable, and the NFL might need more consequences—just not for the players. Weekly Nonsense rolls on with Philip Rivers trying to un-retire. We’re shutting that down immediately. It’s over. Go coach your kids. All of them. And then things get weird: Nicki Minaj popping up at Turning Point USA. No agenda, just confusion. We talk about it because… how could you not? Petty, chaotic, festive, and right on brand. Merry Christmas from Without a Cue — have the day you deserve. 🎅🎙️
The week of episode 41 is unhinged.Travis Kelce might be mentally checked out of Kansas City. On New Heights, he starts referring to the Chiefs as “the Chiefs” instead of “we” — and yeah, that’s never accidental. Patrick Mahomes is banged up, the Chiefs are spiraling missing the playoffs, but Kelce… you’re still on the roster. You still gotta go play this week.In Miami, things are getting weird. Tua Tagovailoa gets benched for Quinn Ewers, Mike McDaniel’s seat is officially warm, and nobody seems to know what direction the Dolphins are headed. Speaking of not caring — Ollie Gordon does not care about your parlay. Why? Because he’s got one of his own. Then it gets unhinged.Donald Trump absolutely cooked Rob Reiner on social media after a viral rumor storm — unnecessary, disrespectful, dancing on the grave energy… and we at Without a Cue try to keep it respectful, even when the internet doesn’t.And finally, T.I. said nobody could see him in a Verzuz battle… so naturally, we named over 40 people who absolutely could. It’s the weekly recap of sports, culture, ego, and nonsense — no script, no filter, and absolutely Without a Cue.
Episode 40 is absolute chaos. We start in college football where Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore is allegedly out of a job and facing serious questions after some wild sideline behavior. We’re talking freaky energy during games, reckless decision-making, and DMs flying mid-snap. If even half of it’s true… this is an all-time coaching crashout. Then we zoom out to the NFL and ask the uncomfortable question nobody wants to answer:Why do all the “good” teams look cooked? The Chiefs, Bills, Ravens — the usual suspects — all slipping, all vulnerable, and all very capable of missing the playoffs. Dynasties don’t usually fall quietly… but this year? It’s loud.As always, we wrap it up with a weekly roundup of pure bullshit — the stories you didn’t ask for but absolutely need to hear.No filter. No PR spin.Just vibes, bad decisions, and football losing its damn mind.🎙️ Without a Cue — because subtlety is overrated.
FOLLOW & LISTEN: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/withoutacuepodcast?igsh=aDN2aHppZWUxdzA4 Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/34HgJv0FhV6mPDzYjOQ9jD NFL Week 12 was pure chaos. Jameis Winston is officially back, throwing for 350 yards, two touchdowns, and even catching one. Yes, Jameis Winston caught a touchdown. So now we’re asking the real question heading into 2026… is Jameis Winston making a full time starter push? Cleveland owned the weekend too. Myles Garrett is on a historic heater — 13 sacks in his last four games and looking absolutely unstoppable. And while we’re talking Browns, we break down Shedeur Sanders’ debut, Shedeur Sanders highlights, and everything from Shedeur Sanders’ post-game interview to the full buzz around his first NFL action. This is the moment Browns fans were waiting for. Kevin Stefanski? Yeah… he got a parlay. And if he starts Dillon Gabriel over Shedeur Sanders next week, he DEFINITELY got a parlay. We call out everyone who got a parlay this week — nobody’s safe. Ja Morant is talking spicy to Klay Thompson while sitting in street clothes. The Kenyon Martin vs. Draymond Green beef refuses to die. And then Donald Trump meets with Zohran Mamdani and suddenly starts dressing like him. What is happening? Another wild, honest, unfiltered weekly breakdown of Without a Cue. Buckle up.
This week’s episode dives straight into the chaos, because primetime football officially fell off and we’re here to talk about it. We cover everything from the NFL Week 11 outlook, to which players definitely got a parlay cooked on them, and somehow end up debating the Top 10 QBs of All Time without anyone throwing a mic. We also unpack the wildest storylines in sports this week: • Tom Brady cloning his dog because he refuses to lose anything ever again • Ja Morant hooping like he’s grounded now that the gun celebration is banned • Amon-Ra St. Brown hitting the Trump celebration and apologizing every seven minutes like it’s a subscription service • And of course… all the weekly nonsense that only makes sense on this show

The boys hand out the Jeff Hardy “White Boy of the Year” Award (NFL Edition), debate whether Shohei Ohtani is even human, and break down LA vs Toronto: Drake vs Kendrick Round 2 as the blue jays and dodgers faceoff. Then they dive into He Got A Parlay — calling out athletes who might be playing for something other than pride — before closing with a Horror Movie Killer Draft, where Freddy, Jason, and Ghostface go pick-for-pick like it’s the NFL Combine. 🕯️ Expect: unfiltered comedy, viral sports talk, barbershop style debates, and pure Halloween energy.
Without a Cue Podcast — Episode 34 Hosted by SoySauce Sports & Buddaz In this episode, we sit down with Peter Scalettar, the showrunner behind Netflix’s hit basketball docuseries Starting 5, to dive deep into Season 2 — premiering October 16th. Peter breaks down what fans can expect this season: new stories, bigger personalities, and a raw look at the next generation of hoops culture that blurs the line between sports and storytelling. After that, the guys turn their attention to the Philadelphia Eagles’ collapse — questioning if the dynasty window is already closing and why it might finally be time to ban the Tush Push for good. Then things take a wild turn as they unpack Donald Trump’s latest claim linking autism to circumcision, before wrapping up with their signature weekly Yappage, covering everything from sports to chaos in true Without a Cue fashion.
