Lanterns opens strong with an episode that manages to slip in a ton of expositional Green Lantern lore, an intriguing small town mystery, a bunch colorful characters all pushing against each other’s edges (with some fantastic actors playing them), all while asking some deeper questions about human nature, and even throwing in a few jokes that actually made us laugh.
