Episode 01 coming soon. Fun fact : The conclusion of 2026 marks the end of Joywave’s first century. I know this may come as a surprise to a lot of you, but Joywave has never actually subscribed to the Gregorian calendar. During this soon-to-end century, Joywave released 1 EP, 2 mixtapes, and 5 full length studio albums (plus a live record!). Truly an impressive output for getting such a late start (due to the unfortunate timing of our births). Today we are thrilled to announce that we’ll be spending the rest of 2026 reminiscing as part of our brand new limited podcast series. Joywave: The First Century . We’ll discuss each of the 5 major footnote albums ( How Do You Feel Now? , Content , Possession , Cleanse , and Permanent Pleasure ) one episode at a time, answer some of your questions, share a few tour stories, and more. The first installment arrives Monday, July 6th, and the episodes should appear at monthly intervals to take us through the rest of the year. We’ll have some fun album-specific merch drops along the way ( Content fans especially, be on high alert).
