He and his wife Chris grew their home into a rescue-led menagerie with cats, cockatoos, rabbits (including Flemish Giants), tortoises, lizards, koi carp, exotic birds, and even breeding three-banded armadillos—becoming officially registered as Britain’s smallest zoo and contributing welfare notes to a European database.
