Leland is one of the greatest all-around musicians I know. His deep dives into ANY band is absolutely incredible, and should be studied for generations to come. Dan, (like many skateboarders) doesn't just skateboard, he lives and breathes it. He (like the TRULY dedicated) are not only the TRUE centre of the local skateboard scene, they become the historians of the sport. As many people come and go from the scene, they are the ones that keep the heart and SOUL of the sport (and scene) alive. It is people like Dan that more important then any trick ever invented, because without them, skateboarding lives on from one generation to generation. Dan id one hell of a guy as well.
