Mick is back for another chat as we look again over his career as a head green keeper and I ask Mick if he might have done anything different as hes now able to look back. Hindsight can be a wonderful thing. What i take from this amazing chat is that although our industry can be truly challenging many finish their careers and are able to look back mainly on a positive time in the industry. Its getting tougher though. This winter is another unfair test of golf!!! Don't suffer in silence. Speak to your loved ones. Reach out to friends and if you are unsure why you might be feeling down go and see your GP and be honest about stresses and strains.

Re released prior to our next chat going live. Mick joined me a few years ago to talk about his life in golf. Moving from the pro shop to the green team Mick became a HGK in his mid twenties and remained in the role (at various clubs) until his retirement from the profession. Mick opens up about the tough times later in his career as committees were introduced and his work life become tougher. An amazingly honest chat. Thanks Mick.
