1000 Lb Sisters S4:E2 - "Cant' Have Your Cake and Eat It Too" Tammy spends the episode proving she's serious about rehab... right up until therapy starts asking real questions. She shows off a 144-pound weight loss, refuses to talk about literally anything emotional, then caps it all off by gaining 10 pounds at weigh-in. Progress? Amy finds out she's having yet another boy, gets roasted by her doctor for surviving on cheese sticks, Amanda embraces divorced life, and the family makes a visit to Tammy that ends exactly how you'd expect—with Gage farting on everyone. So after an hour of trash cans, throat farts, pool pee accusations, and actual farts, TLC somehow managed to make a weight-loss show feel like nothing happened.

Well... that's all, folks. Extreme Sisters never came back, and honestly this finale didn't give us much reason to miss it. Randi finally tells Jordan she's moving out with her husband, Ashley and Vee are still arguing about surrogacy, Anna and Lucy get the most sensible advice of the entire series from a psychic claiming to channel their dad (which they mostly ignore), and Christina gives birth while everyone pretends their family drama is behind them. Not exactly a grand finale—more like everyone agreeing to stop arguing for five minutes before the cameras turned off. Thanks for following us through one of TLC's weirdest experiments. Goodbye, Extreme Sisters . We probably won't miss you.

1000 Lb Sisters S4:E1 "The Sweet and Sour Life" Tammy survives yet another near-death experience, wakes up with a trach, and the constant throat boggers were enough to make me gag. Glad she's alive, but I could've done without the medical close-ups. Amy reveals she's pregnant again, dyes her hair blue (honestly, it works), and reminds us her pregnancy cravings belong on a Food Network horror special. The siblings visit Tammy, tell her to get her life together, and just when things seem to be improving, she stops breathing again because of a blockage in her trach. Overall? Kind of a boring premiere outside of Tammy's health scares. I'm honestly more excited that a brand-new season has already been announced than I was by this episode.

The triplets' fundraiser ends with Hannah announcing she's taking a solo vacation, sending her sisters into a full-blown identity crisis. Randi asks Derek if Jordan can come on their honeymoon (yes, really), and Derek counters by saying he wants them to buy a house after the wedding. Ashley and Vee's surrogacy is still on hold, while Christina prepares for labor by letting Jessica check her cervix on camera. Jessica then proudly claims she "held the baby first" because she felt the baby's head. That's...certainly...something.

1000 Lb Sisters S3:E12 - Never Say Never It's the Season 3 finale of 1000-lb Sisters , and TLC apparently decided subtlety was overrated. This episode is edited like they're about to air Tammy's obituary, complete with ominous music, painfully long reaction shots, and enough foreshadowing to make a horror movie jealous. We cover Amy ignoring medical advice because she wants another baby, Chris becoming the undisputed MVP of the family, Dr. Smith literally making a house call because Tammy refused to come to him, and Tammy finally admitting she needs help... after a life-changing realization while on the toilet. An ICU stay that had TLC rubbing their hands together, and a finale that screams, "Tune in next season to see if she's alive!" Thankfully, Tammy had other plans. And thankfully, we made it through this emotional manipulation so you don't have to suffer alone.

This week, we're recapping Extreme Sisters Season 2, Episode 8... but if we're being honest, the show didn't give us a whole lot to work with. 😅 So after covering Anna and Lucy's surprising career decision, Jessica's pregnancy news, and Jordan's absolutely unhinged honeymoon proposal, we spend a good chunk of the episode doing what siblings do best—getting completely sidetracked. From random life updates to personal stories and whatever else popped into our heads, this one feels more like you're hanging out with us than listening to a traditional recap. If you enjoy the chaos, the tangents, and getting to know us a little better, you'll probably have a great time. Next week, we're hoping the show gives us a little more to talk about. 🤞

1000 Lb Sisters S3:E11 - End of an Era Amy moves out while reliving every sentimental memory in the house, and Tammy continues to insist she’s done nothing wrong—offering to be “supportive from outside the new house,” because apparently emotional presence now comes with a driveway radius limit. The family helps Amy move without the any help emotional or otherwise from Tam Tam. And the family thinks they are descendants of the Royal Family.

Anna and Lucy survive tooth extractions only to admit they were milking the recovery for spa treatments, Jessica tries to speedrun a pregnancy with the world's most awkward fertility charcuterie board, Randi and Jordan argue over who's actually planning the wedding, and Ashley is blindsided by the staggering cost of surrogacy—leading to the most heartbreaking fight of the season... and one very unfortunate wine glass.

1000 Lb Sisters S3:E10 - Moving on Up and Partying on Down Amy gets the exciting news that her offer on a dream home has been accepted, but celebrating is hard when Tammy is busy picking fights, dodging responsibility, and embracing a new lifestyle fueled by alcohol, vaping, and pizza rolls. As the family worries Tammy is slipping further from her weight-loss goals, Amy hopes moving out will finally push her sister toward independence... before another rock bottom finds her first.

Family dinner turns into a fake business pitch, identical twins discover restaurant work is hard when you insist on sharing a tea towel, Ashley and Vee get some long-awaited good news (with one big medical caveat), and Jessica and John attempt to make peace... if you consider calling each other narcissists and "punk ass bitch" a productive conversation. Just another calm, rational episode.

1000 Lb Sisters S3:E9 "Smoky Mountain Meltdown" Tammy spends twelve hours getting to a family vacation just to declare she never wanted to come, refuses to leave the van, tells everyone to shut up, checks into a budget hotel, and somehow still ends up being the victim in her own version of events. Meanwhile, the siblings try everything from gentle encouragement to outright bribery, Chris finally crosses a roller coaster off his bucket list, and an innocent restaurant full of strangers is treated to front-row seats for yet another Slaton family screaming match.

S2:E5 – Four’s a Crowd This week, Lucy and Anna take a tea-reading detour that somehow turns into a full-blown mission to open an Italian restaurant in honor of their late father. Meanwhile, Randi’s fiancé begins gently realizing that marrying one twin may also require accepting a lifelong third wheel situation, as the sisters continue treating separate beds and personal space like radical new concepts. Over in Ashley and Vee land, producers spend the entire episode teasing an explosive confrontation with Ashley’s mom, only for the payoff to be a snooze-fest. And in the episode's biggest source of frustration, John once again ignores Christina’s wishes and turns dinner into another Jessica debate.

1000 Lb Sisters S3:E8 "A Very Slaton Vacation" Chris gets encouraging news at his post-op appointment, while Tammy gains after weeks of ignoring her food journal, therapy, and pretty much every piece of medical advice she's been given. Amy and Amanda discuss Tammy's latest boyfriend drama, celebrate her 35th birthday with a drag show, and prepare for the family's 3 week-awaited trip to Gatlinburg. What should be a fun getaway quickly turns when Tammy has a complete meltdown upon arrival, refusing to enter the cabin after a 12 hour drive. The vacation is already hanging by a thread—and next week delivers one of the most legendary Slaton family blowups of all time.

Jordan orchestrates Derek’s proposal to Randi down to the last detail, proving that sometimes the person getting engaged isn't the one most invested in the proposal. The triplets hit a breaking point when only Hannah gets out of bed for an important meeting, leaving her to take the blame for all three sisters' dysfunction. Anna and Lucy find a questionable dental loophole so they can undergo procedures together, while a week of caring for baby dolls—and an encounter with real babies—forces them to reconsider whether they're actually ready for motherhood. Meanwhile, Christina, Jess, and John continue their never-ending baby-boundary drama as old resentments resurface and loyalties are tested.

1000 Lb Sisters S3:E7 "The Moment of Truth" Chris finally reaches the moment he's been working toward for years: bariatric surgery approval. He misses his weight goal by a few pounds but still gets the green light, proving that consistency and hard work count for something. While Chris moves forward, the rest of the family can't help but notice that Tammy seems stuck in the same place—both on the scale and in life. Meanwhile, Amy and Michael decide it's time to upgrade to a bigger house for baby Gage, and Tammy spends more time talking about dating than dieting. By episode's end, Chris successfully makes it through surgery, Amy is house hunting, and Tammy is dealing with relationship drama, police involvement, and another reminder that finding a boyfriend is apparently much easier than following a meal plan.

Christina's pregnancy creates tension as Jessica struggles with experiencing such a milestone separately for the first time. Staten Island triplets Katherine, Hannah, and Nadia face family pressure to find a more traditional path in life. Anna and Lucy's commitment to being identical is tested during a difficult dental appointment, while Ashley's hopes of having a child hits a roadblock after a painful conversation with her ex, Terrance.

1000 Lb. Sisters S3:E6 - "Man vs. Scale" In this week's beautifully chaotic dive into the Slaton universe, Tammy meets a new therapist and— shocker —serves up a fresh platter of defensive excuses instead of actual breakthroughs. Meanwhile, Amy goes looking to ditch her excess skin but gets handed a heavy dose of reality from the plastic surgeon instead. Over in Chris's corner, it’s the ultimate title match: Man vs. Scale, with his long-awaited bariatric surgery hanging in the balance. Throw in some swimming pool drama, Tisa rightfully demanding an apology, and Darlene doling out unsolicited sleep-schedule critiques, and you've got yourself a classic episode.

Ashley and Vee’s surrogacy announcement explodes into chaos when Demetrius forces Vee to choose between her marriage and her sister. As Ashley struggles with the guilt of tearing the family apart, Vee refuses to back down — insisting she’ll carry the baby “with pride and dignity” no matter who disagrees. Meanwhile, Jordan takes matters into her own hands by helping Derek shop for Randi’s engagement ring… and pushing his budget to the absolute limit. But Derek’s hesitation about proposing threatens the twins’ perfectly planned future. Anna and Lucy test-drive motherhood with eerily lifelike baby dolls, synchronized parenting routines, and a surprisingly supportive Ben. What starts as a gift from their mother quickly becomes an emotional glimpse into the future they still desperately want together. And after months of silence, psychic sisters Jessica and Christina attempt to repair their relationship before Christina gives birth — but unresolved tension, a protective husband, and one painfully awkward bathtub conversation threaten to pull them apart all over again.
