Today’s Where Writers Go podcast is called ‘ From Park to Page,’ and we’re heading to Alexandra Palace in North London, also known as Ally Pally to the locals. Once we’ve been there, I will discuss what we heard, what I took from the walk, and what you can use to create your own stories. Then I will talk about ‘ theme’ and set you an exercise to experiment with ‘themes’ in your own writing. So, take a moment, relax, close your eyes if you can or zoneout if you can’t, and let’s visualise the journey. *************************************************** Every fortnight, I will release a new podcast followed by a writing prompt based on one of the fundamentals of story structure. They are: theme, setting, POV, characters, plot, and style/tone.
