This week on Two Extra , Ursula is reunited with someone from a completely different chapter of life Liz from London Town! Before Perth, before podcasts, before school runs and businesses… there was the Western Mediterranean, 18-30s job, chaos, adventure, and Liz managing Ursula back in their France days. Fast forward years later and somehow both girls ended up living in Perth… despite never actually catching up properly because of the classic north vs south divide (Freo girls vs Clarkson girls is basically long distance in Perth terms). We chat about: The crazy life in the western Med Living and working in France in their younger years How Liz ended up moving to Australia The reality of starting over in Perth Life now vs life then Kids, work, marriage, friendships and how much life can change The weird full-circle moments that happen when expats reconnect years later This episode is nostalgic, chaotic, funny and honestly feels like two old mates picking back up where they left off. If you’ve ever had a “how on earth did we both end up here?” friendship moment… this one’s for you Follow Two Extra for more chats with women building lives, businesses and communities in WA and beyond Liz's Tik Tok @elizabeth.tay26

This week’s episode is as real as it gets and comes with a trigger warning! No plan, no outline, no fancy prep — just us, curled up on Zara’s bed, talking, getting teary and letting whatever needed to come out… come out. We didn’t even edit this one! We spoke all about grief , in all its messy, surprising forms. Yes, we spoke a lot about physical loss — the people we’ve loved and lost — but we also explored the grief that comes with change, disappointment, identity shifts, friendships evolving, relationships ending and the versions of ourselves we’ve had to say goodbye to. We had a quick look at the stages of grief , but mostly to acknowledge that they’re not neat, not linear, and not something you ever “complete.” They show up in waves, loops, spirals — especially around Christmas , when emotions are louder, memories feel heavier, and the empty chairs at the table hit a little harder. This episode is dedicated to everyone who’s grieving, in whatever form that looks like for you. But especially to the people close to us who have lost loved ones recently — you know who you are. We’re holding you in our hearts. If you’re going through it, we hope this conversation makes you feel a little less alone. Please follow us on Instagram & Tik Tok twoextra_thepod And rate, review & follow/subscribe on Spotify & Apple Podcasts.

This episode is for you if: You love hearing from women who go after what they want, aren’t afraid to evolve, and keep things real - no fluff, no filters.
