Dr. Marwa Assar is a distinguished psychologist, psycho-spiritual educator, and the founder of The H.O.M.E. Institute, which stands for Heart Over Mind & Ego. She currently serves as a psychologist at the Islamic Center of NYU (ICNYU) and is an adjunct faculty member at the Boston Islamic Seminary. At The H.O.M.E. Institute, Dr. Assar offers both online and physical spaces for psycho-spiritual education, providing students with heart-centered knowledge and tools to thrive spiritually, mentally, and emotionally.
