I am a YouTube bird vlogger, photographer, and videographer by day, and a London Taxi driver by night.
Listen on Apple PodcastsIn this episode I look at new articles related to birds, photography, and Ai. Good stories from the bird world, and the latest sightings in the UK.
My London cab comes up to its 12th birthday, and due to London's strict emission laws, can no longer work as a taxi. I take it to Elmley & Sheppey for its last trip there. I also have a short visit to Crossness where I talk about budget camera covers, how to rescue a wireless mic that was put in the washing machine, and other bits & pieces.
My first trip to the Global Birdfair. I talk about my visit, the photography session afterwards, and all the comments from the videos. As usual head over to my Youtube channel to watch the latest round of vlogs.
Google has been populating my homepage with lots of bird stories. Never asked it to. I guess it's just the nature the beast nowadays. Handy though, as it does the leg work for me.
My dot sight videos on Youtube have always done ok, nothing special, but they have blown right up on Facebook & Instagram. I wasn't prepared for the comments.

A run down of my week holiday with some birdwatching over in Malta. I am currently uploading several vlogs on my Youtube channel with lots of info, video, and photos, so start keeping an eye for those.
In this podcast and corresponding Youtube vlog, I discuss the controversial topic of bird lifers. What counts as a lifer, lifer lists, and what happens when science lumps or splits a species.
Trying a VERY long form for a change. Just left the mic running while I walked around. The thought is that people will just like something quiet playing in the background as they go about their daily business. Let me know if you like this sort of thing.
Negative comments that actually help, I do more local vlogs due to fuel costs, and uploading old vlogs but edited better.
A catch up with all this weeks uploads to Youtube, and my trip out to Joydens Wood where I had a spectacular encounter with a red kite.
I spend the day at Foreness Point, and bring you up to date with all the other goings on with my Youtube uploads.
