🎙️ EP 164 How Was Money Born? They Story of Money! Business Legacy Series ENTREPRENEUR KID LEGACY SHOW Hosted by Daniel and Destiny What if money didn't exist yet? In this adventurous and confidence-building episode of the Entrepreneur Kids Legacy Show , Daniel and Destiny hop into the Time Machine to discover how money began and why it all started with something more important than coins or bills: Long before stores, banks, or digital payments, people traded what they had for what they needed. Kids travel back to early villages to learn how bartering worked, why it became difficult, and how societies eventually agreed on durable forms of money like metal coins and later, paper money. Most importantly, this episode teaches the big leadership idea that will shape every future "earning money" lesson: Money didn't create value. Value created money. 💵 What Kids Will Learn • What "value" means (in kid language) • How bartering worked and why it was challenging • Why metal coins became useful for trading and saving • How trust is the invisible engine behind money • Why the word "salary" is connected to salt (and what's true vs. folklore) • Where paper money began and why it mattered • How leaders think: skills → service → value → opportunity This episode builds financial literacy without fear, grounded in history, leadership, and confidence. 🕰️ Time Machine Story Highlights 1️⃣ The Barter Era Kids imagine trading food, tools, and skills in early communities. 2️⃣ The Problem With Bartering What if you have chickens… but the other person doesn't need chickens? Kids discover why trade needed something more portable and consistent. 3️⃣ Why Coins Changed Everything Metal was used by weight for trade for centuries, and standardized coins began appearing widely around the 7th century BC making exchange simpler and more trustworthy. 4️⃣ The Big Idea: Money Runs on Trust Money works because people agree it has meaning. That's why honesty and integrity matter in leadership and business. 5️⃣ Paper Money Enters the World Children learn that early paper money began in China during the Song Dynasty, including notes often called jiaozi , so people didn't have to carry heavy coins everywhere. ⚡️ Legacy Lightning Fun Facts Round Question: Why did people move from trading chickens and tools to using coins and paper money? A) Coins were easier to carry and store? B) People stopped helping each other? C) Chickens became extinct? D) The Alien Government made them do it? ✅ ANSWER A) Coins were easier to carry and store! Coins and paper money made trading and saving simpler but the heart of money was still value first. 🏆 Legacy Challenge of the Week "Create Value" Challenge Look around your home or school and ask: 👉 "What skill or help can I offer that creates value?" Examples: • Helping a sibling learn something • Organizing or cleaning with excellence • Making something useful (a card, checklist, snack, or plan) • Being dependable, honest, and consistent Remember: Before money ever existed… value came from what you could do and how you helped others. 💰 So this week, don't ask, "How can I get more money?" Ask: "How can I give more value?" 📱 Get FREE Early Access to the: Entrepreneur Kids Learning Legacy Academy App Buy us a Cup of Coffee. ☕️ ❤️ If you enjoyed this episode for your children, think about supporting the show. 🎙️ EP 162 YOU DON'T NEED A BADGE TO LEAD! (Wisdom from John C. Maxwell: Leadership Lesson for Kids) ENTREPRENEUR KIDS LEGACY SHOW Hosted by Daniel and Destiny What makes someone a real leader? Is leadership about being the loudest person in the room, having an important title, wearing a badge, or telling everyone else what to do? In this powerful episode of the Entrepreneur Kids Legacy Show, Daniel and Destiny help children discover an unforgettable truth: You do not need a title to lead. You need an example worth following. Whether your family listens during breakfast, while driving, during homeschool lessons, at quiet time, or before bed, the Entrepreneur Kids Legacy Show gives parents a positive alternative to screen time while helping children develop the qualities of courageous future leaders. 👑 INSPIRED BY LEADERSHIP WISDOM This Legacy Short was inspired by leadership principles taught by Ed Mylett and John C. Maxwell, especially Maxwell's Law of Influencefrom The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership. Their work reminds us that leadership is not defined merely by a position or title. This episode thoughtfully introduces these powerful leadership ideas to children in a fun, memorable, faith-centered, and age-appropriate way. 💡 THE LAW OF INFLUENCE One of the most important leadership lessons children can learn is this: Leadership is influence. You may already have influence without realizing it. Your little brother may copy what you do. Your sister may listen to how you speak. A friend may become brave because you were brave first. Someone at school may decide to include another child because they watched you do it. Your actions can send a message even when you never say a word. That means leadership is not something you have to wait to receive. You can begin practicing it today. 🙏 FAITH MOMENT Matthew 5:16 teaches: "Let your light shine before others." Jesus reminds us that our lives can point other people toward what is good. Your light does not have to be the biggest light. You do not have to be famous. You do not need thousands of followers. You simply need to faithfully use what God has placed inside you. ✍️ LEGACY LEADER JOURNAL MOMENT Grab a journal and write: "Who is someone I can influence for good?" It could be: A brother or sister, A friend, A classmate, A teammate, A neighbor, Or someone you may not know very well yet. Then ask: "What is one thing I could do this week that might make their life better?" Maybe you could encourage them. Help them. Include them. Teach them something. Then write: "What kind of leader do I want to become?" Remember: You don't need a badge to begin. You can begin with your choices. 🌱 TODAY'S LEGACY LINE 👑 You don't need a badge to lead. Your example is already speaking. 👑 IDENTITY DECLARATION Say this together: I do not need a title to lead. I can lead with my example. I can choose courage. I can choose kindness. I can serve others. I can tell the truth. I can help people who need me. I can use my influence for good. I will choose carefully who I follow. I will stay humble and teachable. God has given me gifts and purpose. I will use them wisely. I don't need a badge to lead. I can start today. 👑 📚 SHORT CREDIT LINE This episode was inspired by leadership principles taught by Ed Mylett and John C. 🎙️ EP 161 - Be Brave Enough To Begin! (Wisdom from Joan of Arc) The Girl Who Led an Army Joan of Arc's Brave Legacy. (Great Thinkers Series - Presidents, World Leaders & Changers) ENTREPRENEUR KIDS LEGACY SHOW Hosted by Daniel and Destiny What would you do if God gave you a mission so big, everyone told you it was impossible? Would you walk away, or would you take the first step? In this episode of the Entrepreneur Kids Legacy Show , Daniel and Destiny share the story of a young leader who proved that courage can change the world. She didn't have money, power, or an army—just unshakable faith and the bravery to follow her calling, no matter who told her it was impossible. Over 600 years ago, Joan of Arc was just a teenage girl from a tiny farming village in France. She didn't have money, power, or an army. She had something greater, unshakable faith and the courage to obey God's voice. At only 13 years old, Joan said the words that would change history: "God has told me, I must lead an army." People laughed at her. Soldiers told her she was too young, too small, too weak. But Joan didn't listen to their doubts. Through this powerful lesson, Daniel and Destiny show how courage isn't the absence of fear it's moving forward in spite of it. Whether you're chasing a dream, standing up for what's right, or taking your first step toward a big goal, this episode will inspire you to be bold and trust that even the smallest voice can make the biggest difference. 📱 Get FREE Early Access to the: Entrepreneur Kids Learning Legacy Academy App Buy us a Cup of Coffee. ☕️ ❤️ If you enjoyed this episode for your children, think about supporting the show. 🎙️ EP 160 The Law of the Lid! Leadership and a Growth Mindset! (Wisdom from John C. Maxwell: Leadership Lesson for Kids) ENTREPRENEUR KIDS LEGACY SHOW Hosted by Daniel & Destiny What happens when your dream becomes bigger than what you currently know how to do? Do you make the dream smaller—or become the person capable of carrying it? In this Legacy Short, Daniel and Destiny introduce kids to a powerful leadership principle inspired by John C. Maxwell's Law of the Lid: our current abilities don't have to become our future limits. Through the story of Leo and Lilly trying to build an enormous tower for their dream city, children discover that failure doesn't always mean the idea was wrong. Sometimes it simply means there's something new to learn. When the tower keeps crashing, Leo starts making his dream smaller. But Grandma asks a question that changes everything: "What if the tower isn't too big? What if there's simply something you haven't learned yet?" 🌱 In This Episode, You'll Discover Why your current ability doesn't have to become your future limit How a growth mindset changes the way we approach difficult challenges Why strong dreams require strong foundations The difference between simply trying harder and learning to try wiser Why great leaders stay teachable How mentors can help us discover what we still need to learn Why listening, humility, curiosity, and responsibility are leadership skills How children can develop the gifts God has placed inside them 👑 A Leadership Lesson for Kids Great leaders don't know everything. They ask questions. Listen. Practice. Seek wisdom. Learn from mistakes. Accept correction. And keep growing. So when you find yourself saying: "I can't do this." Try changing the question to: "What do I need to learn?" Maybe you want to start a business but still need to learn about money. Maybe you dream of writing a book but writing is difficult right now. Maybe you want to invent something, become a great athlete, create something new, or lead others. Reaching the edge of what you currently know doesn't necessarily mean you've reached the edge of what's possible. 📖 Scripture From This Episode Luke 2:52 "And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man." One of the most important words in that verse is grew. Children don't need to know everything today. Growth takes time. God has given each child gifts and potential, and part of growing up is learning how to faithfully develop what He has placed inside them. One lesson at a time. One good habit at a time. One brave try at a time. ✍️ Legacy Leader Journal Moment Ask your future leader: "What is one thing I want to learn that could help me grow?" Then have them write or draw one of their biggest dreams at the top of a page and underneath it answer: "What will this dream need me to learn?" A future author can begin by reading. A future inventor can begin by asking questions. A future entrepreneur can begin by learning how to create value. A future leader can begin by listening. Big growth often begins with one small lesson. 🌟 Legacy Line "When your vision becomes bigger than your current ability, don't automatically shrink the vision. Grow the leader." ❤️ Final Encouragement Future leader, you don't have to have everything figured out. You're allowed to be learning. You're allowed to ask questions. You're allowed to need help. And you're allowed to try something, discover it doesn't work, learn something new, and begin again. Some of the strongest leaders in the world never stop being students. So when you reach something that feels like a ceiling, don't immediately decide, "This is as far as I can go." Look up. Get curious. Stay teachable. Find someone wise. Read. Practice. Listen. Strengthen your foundation. Then ask: "What do I need to learn to go higher?" Maybe you've simply discovered your next place to grow. With God's help, keep becoming the leader He created you to be. You are the hero of your story. And your story is just getting started. 👑✨ 📱 Get FREE Early Access to the: Entrepreneur Kids Learning Legacy Academy App Buy us a Cup of Coffee. ☕️ ❤️ If you enjoyed this episode for your children, think about supporting the show. 🎙️ EP 158 How Testing Ideas Builds Confidence and Real Leaders! (Business Legacy Series) ENTREPRENEUR KIDS LEGACY SHOW Hosted by Daniel and Destiny ✨What if you didn't need the perfect idea to get started? What if all you needed, was one brave try? In this empowering and confidence-building episode of the Entrepreneur Kids Legacy Show , Daniel and Destiny teach young leaders one of the most important lessons in entrepreneurship and life: 👉 You don't need to choose the best idea. 👉 You just need to choose one idea to try. Following their journey from the Idea Lab, kids learn how real entrepreneurs move from thinking and imagining… into action. Through a fun story featuring Leo the Legacy Lion and Lily, children discover how testing ideas works, why it's okay if things don't go perfectly, and how every attempt teaches something valuable. This episode helps kids overcome fear, perfectionism, and overthinking and replaces it with courage, action, and growth. 🧠 WHAT KIDS WILL LEARN • Why you don't need a perfect idea to begin • How testing ideas helps you learn faster • Why trying is more powerful than overthinking • How small actions build confidence • Why mistakes are actually learning opportunities • How entrepreneurs grow through action, not guessing This episode teaches kids that confidence is built by trying not waiting. 🌟 KEY LESSON: TRYING IS HOW LEADERS GROW Many kids (and adults) think they need: • the best idea • the perfect plan • or total confidence before they begin. But real leaders do something different. They: 1. Notice 2. Imagine 3. Try Trying teaches you things that thinking never can. Even if something doesn't go as planned, it still gives you something powerful: 👉 Experience And experience is how confidence grows. ⚡️ Legacy Lighting Fun Facts Round! Question: What is the goal of your first mini business? A) Making a lot of money instantly? B) Learning what works and what doesn't? C) Being perfect at everything right away? D) Earning enough to fly to space 🚀? Haaaaa ✅ Correct Answer: B) Learning what works and what doesn't! The goal is not to be perfect or rich, it's to learn . Every attempt teaches you what works, what to improve, and what to try next. That's how real leaders grow. 🛠️ TACTICAL LEGACY CHALLENGE This week's challenge is your first brave step : 👉 Choose one idea from your Idea Lab 👉 Try it in a small, simple way You can: • Help one person • Test one small version of your idea • Try something in a short amount of time Then ask yourself: • Did this help someone? • What did I enjoy most? • What would I change next time? Write it down or draw it — just like Leo and Lily. Because when you track what you learn… 👉 You grow faster. FINAL REFLECTION (THE ANCHOR) You don't need a perfect idea. You don't need to know everything. You don't need to be ready. You just need one thing: 👉 A brave try. Because every great leader, builder, and entrepreneur started the same way: They tried something. They learned something. And then they kept going. So if you feel nervous, that's okay. Say it with us: I might feel nervous, but I have the courage to try. I can learn as I go. Trying helps me grow. Keep trying. Keep learning. 🎙️ EP 157 Think Different: How Curiosity, Courage, and Big Ideas Can Change the World! (Wisdom from Steve Jobs) Great Thinkers Series · Legacy Life Leadership Lessons ENTREPRENEUR KIDS LEGACY SHOW Think Different: How Curiosity, Courage, and Big Ideas Can Change the World! ✨ Kid-Friendly Leadership · Creativity · Innovation · Faith & Family Values What if thinking differently wasn't a problem, but your greatest superpower? In this inspiring episode of the Entrepreneur Kids Legacy Show, Daniel and Destiny take young leaders on a powerful journey to discover a life-changing truth: 👉 The ideas that make you different might be the very ideas that change the world. Through storytelling, imagination, and real-life lessons, kids learn how curiosity, creativity, and courage can grow into something meaningful even when others don't understand at first. This episode reminds children that they don't have to wait to grow up to think like leaders. The way they think, question, and imagine right now can shape their future in incredible ways. Most importantly, kids learn that while building big things is exciting, 👉 The greatest legacy will always be love, family, and how we care for others. 🧠 WHAT KIDS WILL LEARN • Why asking questions is one of the most powerful skills in the world • How thinking differently can lead to big ideas and innovation • Why curiosity is a leadership superpower • How small beginnings can grow into world-changing ideas • Why setbacks don't mean the end — they can lead to something better • How creativity and technology can work together • Why family and love matter more than success This episode teaches kids to embrace who they are especially what makes them different. 🕰️ STORY HIGHLIGHT — FROM CURIOSITY TO IMPACT In today's Time Machine adventure, Daniel and Destiny meet a young boy who: • loved taking things apart • asked endless questions • didn't always fit into school systems • thought about the world differently At first, people didn't always understand him. But over time, 👉 His curiosity became his strength. 👉 His ideas became innovations. 👉 His vision helped shape how the world uses technology today. Kids learn that: • Big ideas often start in small places (like a garage) • You don't need fancy tools to begin • You just need curiosity and courage 💡 BIG IDEA: SMALL BEGINNINGS → BIG IMPACT Great ideas don't start big. They start with: • noticing something • asking a question • imagining a better way Even the biggest companies and inventions began as: 👉 One simple thought: "What if this could be better?" ❤️ THE MOST IMPORTANT LESSON (DON'T MISS THIS) At the end of the story, we learn something even more powerful than innovation: 👉 Success is not the greatest achievement. 👉 Love is. No matter how big someone builds… The most meaningful part of life will always be: • family • relationships • time together • caring for others Because the greatest legacy is not what you build… 👉 It's how you love. ⚡️ Legacy Lighting Fun Facts Round! Question: What fruit became the name of a world-changing company? A) Banana B) Apple C) Orange D) Starfruit 👉 Think carefully and choose your answer! ✅ Correct Answer: B) Apple Sometimes simple ideas even something as ordinary as a fruit name can become part of something extraordinary when paired with vision, creativity, and belief. 🛠️ TACTICAL LEGACY CHALLENGE OF THE WEEK This week's challenge is all about your ideas: 👉 Write down one idea you've had Then: • Share it with a parent, teacher, or friend • Ask: "Do you think this could help people?" • Talk about how it could grow Because every big idea becomes stronger when: 👉 You talk about it 👉 You think about it 👉 You take one step forward 🛠️ TACTICAL LEGACY CHALLENGE This week's challenge is all about building your Idea Toolbox. 👉 Come up with three new ideas this week. You can: • Write them down • Draw them like Lily • Share them with a parent or trusted adult Remember, you're not trying to start a business yet. You're simply collecting ideas. Great entrepreneurs keep notebooks full of ideas for later. 📱 Get FREE Early Access to the: Entrepreneur Kids Learning Legacy Academy App Buy us a Cup of Coffee. ☕️ ❤️ If you enjoyed this episode for your children, think about supporting the show. 🎙️ EP 156 Ethos! What Does Your Family Stand For? ENTREPRENEUR KIDS LEGACY SHOW Hosted by Daniel & Destiny What do you want your family to be known for? Not the house you live in, what you own, or how successful you appear, but the way your family lives, loves, serves, and treats others. In this episode of the Entrepreneur Kids Legacy Show, Daniel and Destiny introduce children to an important word: ethos. Through the story of Leo and Lilly discovering an old family book filled with memories, and blank pages waiting for future generations, kids learn that a family's ethos is the character, values, and way of life it intentionally builds together. Children will discover that they don't have to wait until they're grown up to help shape their family's legacy. Every honest word, act of kindness, prayer, apology, promise kept, and courageous choice helps write the next chapter of their family's story. ❤️ In This Episode, You'll Discover What ethos means and why every family has one How families decide what they want to stand for Why strong families aren't perfect families How small, repeated choices build character and legacy Why every child's unique gifts can strengthen their family How to recognize when you've gotten off course and "right the ship" Why children are already helping write their family's story 📖 Scripture From This Episode Joshua 24:15 "As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." Joshua made a clear declaration about what his household would stand for. In the same way, families can intentionally choose to build homes shaped by faith, truth, love, prayer, forgiveness, courage, generosity, and service. 🏡 Family Ethos Challenge Gather your family together and ask one big question: "What do we want our family to be known for?" Choose a few words that represent the family you want to become. They might include: Faith • Love • Truth • Kindness • Courage • Honesty • Hard Work • Forgiveness • Generosity • Service • Creativity • Integrity Then talk about what those words actually look like in everyday life. You can even create a family declaration or design a family crest around the values you choose. 💬 Family Conversation What are three words we hope describe our family? How do we want people to feel when they enter our home? How should we respond when someone in our family makes a mistake? What special gift does each person bring to our family? Is there anywhere we need to "right the ship" and begin again? What is one thing our family could do together to help someone else? 👑 A Leadership Lesson for Kids Great leaders know what they stand for before they're pressured to choose differently. Your family's ethos works like a compass. It doesn't mean you'll never make a mistake or get off course. It reminds you which direction you want to travel, and helps you find your way back when you wander. Strong families aren't families that never make mistakes. Strong families learn, forgive, repair, and keep growing together. 🌟 Legacy Line "Every family receives blank pages. The choices we make together help decide what gets written on them." 🦋 Final Encouragement Your family's story is still being written. Maybe you already have a strong family ethos and this episode simply gives your children a word for it. Or maybe this is the beginning of a new conversation about what your family believes, how you want to treat people, and what you hope future generations will carry forward. You won't get every moment right. That's part of why learning to right the ship matters. Keep planting what is good. Keep returning to God. Keep making room for each person's gifts. Because sometimes the seeds a family faithfully plants today become the trees another generation rests beneath. Receive what is good. Add something beautiful of your own. And leave blank pages for the generations still to come. 📱 Get FREE Early Access to the: Entrepreneur Kids Learning Legacy Academy App Buy us a Cup of Coffee. ☕️ ❤️ If you enjoyed this episode for your children, think about supporting the show. 🎙️ EP 153 Responsibility Comes Before Reward! (Business Legacy Series) ENTREPRENEUR KIDS LEGACY SHOW Hosted by Daniel and Destiny ✨ What if chores weren't about allowance but about leadership training? In this foundational episode of the Entrepreneur Kids Legacy Show, Daniel and Destiny teach children (and the parents listening along) a powerful truth many adults don't learn until much later: 👉 Responsibility always comes before money. Through storytelling, real-life examples, and a fun Legacy Lightning Round, kids discover that chores are not paid work — they are preparation for success. They learn how skills, service, and consistency eventually lead to earning money the right way. This episode helps raise confident, capable, and trustworthy kids who understand work ethic, contribution, and character. ✨ Perfect for family listening, car rides, homeschool discussions, and building strong foundations at home. 🧠 WHAT KIDS WILL LEARN IN THIS EPISODE ✔ Why chores are not a job, they're a responsibility ✔ How responsibility builds skills and character ✔ The difference between chores and paid value ✔ Why adults don't get paid for baseline responsibility ✔ How helping others creates real opportunity ✔ Why money follows service, never the other way around This episode teaches kids to think long-term, not transactionally. 🌟 CORE LESSON: RESPONSIBILITY FIRST Chores teach children how to: • Show up consistently • Take ownership • Follow through • Help without complaining • Become reliable and trustworthy These habits form the foundation of leadership, entrepreneurship, and future success. Money is not a reward for existing. Money is a result of extra value. This episode clearly separates: ➡️ Responsibility (chores) ➡️ Service (helping beyond expectations) ➡️ Earning (value people are grateful for) When kids understand this early, they build confidence the healthy way. ⚡️ Legacy Lightning Fun Facts Round Question: Which comes first? A) Money? B) Helping someone? C) Being Famous? D) Getting on a rocket ship and flying to Neptune? 😂 ✅ Answer: B) Helping someone? Responsibility comes before rewards. Character comes before compensation. 🏆 LEGACY CHALLENGE OF THE WEEK This week's challenge is simple — but powerful: 👉 Do one chore really well — without complaining. Notice: • How it feels to contribute • How others respond • How your confidence grows That feeling? That's leadership being built. 💛 FOR PARENTS & CAREGIVERS This episode helps: • Separate responsibility from entitlement • Build internal motivation • Reinforce contribution before compensation • Shape identity around capability — not rewards When children learn to manage what's already in their hands, they become trustworthy with more. 🎙️ Episode 151 How to Grow a Kind and Courageous Heart! ENTREPRENEUR KIDS LEGACY SHOW Hosted by Daniel & Destiny Every day, we plant seeds in our hearts through the choices we make, the words we speak, the friends we choose, and the things we allow to influence us. In this episode of the Entrepreneur Kids Legacy Show, Daniel and Destiny share the story of Little Lily the Lion, who learns that just like a garden, our hearts need loving care to grow beautiful things. Through a fun story and biblical wisdom, children will discover what it means to guard their hearts, grow strong character, and choose habits that help them become the leaders God created them to be. They'll also learn that every act of kindness, honesty, gratitude, and courage is a seed that grows into something beautiful over time. 📖 Scripture From This Episode Proverbs 4:23 "Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it." God wants us to protect our hearts by filling them with things that are true, loving, kind, and pleasing to Him. 💬 Family Conversation After listening, ask your child: ● What kind of "flowers" do you want growing in your heart? ● Is there a "weed" you'd like God's help removing? ● How can you show kindness or courage to someone this week? ● What helps you grow closer to Jesus? ❤️ Family Challenge Go outside together and look for a flower, tree, or garden. Talk about how plants need water, sunshine, and care to grow and how our hearts grow in much the same way. Then choose one character trait, like kindness or gratitude, that your family will intentionally practice together this week. 🩵 Final Encouragement Beautiful character isn't built in a single moment, it grows one faithful choice at a time. As parents, keep planting seeds of faith, kindness, honesty, and courage, even when you can't yet see the harvest. And kids, remember that every time you choose what is right, you're growing a heart that honors God and blesses others. Because the most beautiful gardens and the strongest future leaders, are grown one loving choice at a time. 📱Get FREE Early Access to the: Entrepreneur Kids Learning Legacy Academy App Buy us a Cup of Coffee. ☕️ ❤️ If you enjoyed this episode for your children, think about supporting the show. 🎙️ EP 150 Be Relentless; Why We Keep Going When Things Get Hard! ENTREPRENEUR KIDS LEGACY SHOW Hosted by Daniel and Destiny Have you ever wanted to quit something because it felt hard, frustrating, or slow? In this powerful episode of the Entrepreneur Kids Legacy Show, Daniel and Destiny teach one of the most important success traits any young leader can develop: being RELENTLESS. Being relentless doesn't mean being loud, bossy, or never resting. It means not giving up on what God placed inside you, even when progress feels messy, uncomfortable, or invisible. Through an inspiring time-travel story featuring young Thomas Edison, kids learn that mistakes aren't failures they're information. Relentless kids learn, adjust, ask for help, and keep going. This episode reminds every child listening: Quitting is a choice but so is trying one more time. ⏳ STORYTIME: A RELENTLESS MINDSET Featuring: Young Thomas Edison We hop into the time machine and travel back to visit a curious boy named Thomas Edison a kid who asked too many questions, made a lot of mistakes, and was told by others he might never succeed. But Thomas didn't quit. Instead, he: • Turned everyday spaces into experiment stations • Tried ideas that failed again and again • Learned from every mistake • Adjusted and kept going Because of his relentless mindset, Edison eventually helped bring light to the world. This story isn't about inventions it's about mindset. 🧠 WHAT KIDS LEARN IN THIS EPISODE ✔️ Relentless kids don't let mistakes decide who they are ✔️ Mistakes are not stop signs — they're information ✔️ Progress can be slow and still be powerful ✔️ Asking for help is a strength ✔️ God asks us to be faithful — not perfect ✔️ Trying one more time can change everything ⚡️ Legacy Lightning Fun Fact Being relentless means which of the following? A) Never resting? B) Quitting when it's uncomfortable> C) Trying again with Wisdom? D) Doing nothing all day? ANSWER C) Trying again with Wisdom? Every time you try again, you're building strength you can't see yet. The inner work you're doing today is shaping the leader you'll become tomorrow. We are so proud of you for choosing growth. 🏆 LEGACY CHALLENGE OF THE WEEK This week's challenge is simple but powerful: Think of one thing you wanted to quit. Instead of quitting, ask: • What can I learn from this? • What can I try differently? • Who can help me? Write your answers down. Try again one more time this week with small adjustments. If it's still hard, talk with a parent and make a new plan. Relentless kids don't push blindly they grow wisely. ⭐ SUPPORT & SHARE If this episode helped you: • Share it with someone you love • Leave a kind review and ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ • Tell your parents to check the show notes Your support helps these lessons reach more kids and families around the world. 🙏 FINAL LEGACY REMINDER Quitting is a choice. 🎙️EP 149 ENTREPRENEUR KIDS LEGACY SHOW Hosted by Destiny and Daniel Every Magnificent Vision Began as a Little Idea Every great invention, business, act of kindness, and big dream started with one small idea. In this episode of the Entrepreneur Kids Legacy Show, Daniel and Destiny share a heartwarming story that reminds children God often begins His greatest work with something small a simple idea, a kind heart, or a willingness to help someone else. As they explore the power of imagination, they discover that the best ideas don't begin with asking, "How can I become successful?" They begin by asking, "Who can I help?" Parents will also be encouraged to slow down and notice the unique gifts, curiosity, and creativity God is already growing inside their children. Sometimes the smallest moments become the beginning of something extraordinary. 🧠 In This Episode: Why every big dream begins with one small idea How helping others often leads to our best ideas Why God gives children creativity and purpose How kindness, curiosity, and imagination work together Why even the smallest acts can grow into something meaningful 📖 Scripture From This Episode Ephesians 2:10 "For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." God created every child with unique gifts and a purpose. He can use even the smallest idea to make a big difference. 💬 Family Conversation After listening, ask your child: What was your favorite part of today's story? What small idea has God placed on your heart? Who could you encourage or help this week? How can one small act of kindness grow into something bigger? 🌿 Family Challenge Take a walk together and look for something small in God's creation a flower, a seed, a butterfly, or a leaf. Talk about how God often grows amazing things from small beginnings, then think of one simple way your family can bless someone this week. ❤️ For Parents Children often notice beauty that adults rush past. When we slow down, listen, and encourage their curiosity, we're doing more than answering questions we're helping them discover the gifts God has placed inside them. One conversation, one encouraging word, or one moment of paying attention may become the beginning of a lifelong passion or calling. 🩵 Final Encouragement Never forget every giant tree was once a tiny seed. God often begins His greatest plans with one kind act, one brave choice, one curious question, or one little idea placed in a child's heart. Keep encouraging your children to dream, create, and serve others, because today's little idea may become tomorrow's big blessing. 🎙️EP 147 Righting the Ship! How Great Leaders Get Back on Course! ENTREPRENEUR KIDS LEGACY SHOW Hosted by Daniel and Destiny What happens when life doesn't go exactly as planned? Maybe you missed a day of something you promised yourself you would do. Maybe you made a choice you wish you had made differently. Maybe you stopped practicing, forgot to pray, spoke unkindly, or simply realized, somewhere along the way, you drifted a little off course. Does that mean you give up? Absolutely not. You right the ship. ⛵ In this powerful Legacy Short from the Entrepreneur Kids Legacy Show , Daniel and Destiny introduce young listeners to one of the most important mindsets a future leader can learn: You don't have to be perfect to keep moving forward. When something doesn't go the way you hoped, it can become a lesson . You learn. You adjust. You grow. And you steer yourself back toward what is good. Because great leaders aren't people who never drift. Great leaders learn how to get back on course. 📖 FAITH MOMENT: GREAT LEADERS GET BACK UP Proverbs 24:16 teaches us: "Though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again." Think about that. The Bible doesn't tell us that faithful people will walk through life without ever falling. It tells us what they do when they fall. They rise again. That is such an important difference. Faithfulness isn't about never having a difficult day. Courage isn't about getting everything right the first time. Strength isn't about pretending you never need to change direction. Sometimes courage says: "I need to try that again." Sometimes character says: "I need to make that right." Sometimes wisdom says: "That choice isn't taking me where I want to go." And sometimes faith simply says: "God, help me begin again." ✍️ LEGACY LEADER JOURNAL MOMENT Future leaders, grab your Entrepreneur Kids Legacy Journal and something to write with. And if you don't know how to write yet, you can draw your answer just like our friends Leo and Lilly the Lions. 🦁✨ Today's question is: "Where did I drift a little this week… and what is one way I can right my ship today?" What is my next right choice? Then take that step. Because even a very small turn of the wheel, can begin changing the direction of a ship. 🌟 FINAL ENCOURAGEMENT Dear Future Leader, There will be days in your life when the wind changes. You may start out sailing in one direction, and suddenly realize you've drifted somewhere you never intended to go. When that happens, don't give up on the journey. Look at where you are. Remember where you're going. Take what the moment has taught you, and gently turn the wheel. 📱Get FREE Early Access to the: Entrepreneur Kids Learning Legacy Academy App Buy us a Cup of Coffee. ☕️ ❤️ If you enjoyed this episode for your children, think about supporting the show. 🎙️ EP 145 The Power of Gratitude! ENTREPRENEUR KIDS LEGACY SHOW Hosted by Daniel and Destiny What if one of the greatest superpowers a child could develop wasn't strength, speed, or intelligence, but gratitude? In this heartwarming Legacy Short, Daniel and Destiny tell the beautiful story of a father who nearly missed all the incredible wonders surrounding him until his young son helped him slow down and truly see. Together, children will discover that thankfulness isn't simply saying "thank you." It's learning to notice God's fingerprints in everyday life. From butterflies and birds to family hugs, laughter, and ordinary afternoons, this episode reminds children that joy often lives inside the little moments we sometimes overlook. Filled with biblical wisdom, gentle storytelling, practical life lessons, journal prompts, and encouragement, this Legacy Short helps young leaders build hearts full of gratitude that will bless them for the rest of their lives. Because the happiest people aren't always the ones who have the most, They're often the ones who notice the most. Key Lessons 1. Gratitude begins with noticing. 2. God fills every day with beautiful gifts. 3. Joy grows where gratitude grows. 4. Thankfulness changes the way we experience life. 5. We don't have to wait for perfect days to be thankful. 6. A thankful heart sees blessings others often miss. 📖 Bible Verse 1 Thessalonians 5:18 "Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." Children learn that this verse doesn't mean every situation is easy it reminds us that God is always with us and there is always something to thank Him for. 🙏🏻 Gratitude Activities for Families 🌼 Take a slow family nature walk and see how many beautiful things everyone notices. 🦋 Start a Gratitude Jar by writing one blessing every day. 📖 Read 1 Thessalonians 5:18 together before bedtime. 🙏 Pray together and thank God for five specific blessings. 🎨 Draw your favorite blessing from today. 📸 Create a "Blessings Photo Album" filled with everyday moments. 🌳 Spend ten quiet minutes outside simply observing God's creation. 💪🏼 Legacy Leader Challenge of the Week Every evening before bed, write down or say aloud three blessings from your day. Some days they may be big. Some days they may seem very small. But every single day, God gives us something beautiful to notice. ❤️ Why This Matters Research continues to suggest that practicing gratitude can improve emotional well-being, strengthen relationships, increase optimism, and help children develop resilience. When children regularly pause to recognize blessings, they're training their minds to notice hope, kindness, and joy even during challenging seasons. More importantly, gratitude points our hearts back to God the giver of every good gift. 📱Get FREE Early Access to the: Entrepreneur Kids Learning Legacy Academy App Buy us a Cup of Coffee. ☕️ ❤️ If you enjoyed this episode for your children, think about supporting the show.
