Julie and Cat are joined by Mary Raclawski (7:46), fiancée of Carolina Hurricanes goaltender Brandon Bussi, who shares behind-the-scenes stories about her and Brandon’s roller coaster ride of a hockey season. Mary tells the origin of their love story, recounts a life-changing car ride that took an unexpected detour, relives the emotions of watching her husband-to-be win the Stanley Cup, spills the tea on the Cup celebration you didn’t see, and plays a Stanley Cup/Carolina Hurricanes-themed game of “Superlatives.” Julie and Cat open the show with congratulations for friend and past podcast guest Carey Price on his selection to the Hockey Hall of Fame as Julie fangirls over the possibility of an expansion team in her hometown of Houston. The ladies cap the show recounting their favorite moments from Season 2 and share an exciting announcement about the future of the podcast.
