What are some cigars that are discontinued that you want to try or try again? We forget the Norteno by Drew Estate but there are lots out there that are definitely worth a revisit before they're all gone. Happy Halloween!
There is a bit of a hum on Julian's channel for some reason I did my best but it makes him quiet. We talk about ethics and the death penalty. We talk about the now canceled live stream of the convicted terrorist that shot and killed 14 and injured 30 plus others. We talk about the failed execution of the convicted murderer in Tennessee. We talk about the amazing cigar. We don't have answers in this one but we do provoke thought and compassion for both the convicted and the victims of crime. Where do you stand?
This is my first but cut up episode. I actually edited! I know, crazy right? Can you catch the cuts? I ramble on too much about stuff that is basically Phoenix Cigar Lounge member's concern only and I cut it out. We have some cool things you can win just by sending in an email. We will pay for shipping if you are far away or you can come get it and be a guest at the lounge or even better on the podcast.
We light up the Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua Sonata and do the recap of the expo with special guests Amber and The Silver Fox. We also go wild as usual. The Silver Fox tells us about a work trip that involved some down time in Palm Springs CA and he checked out a sweet lounge. You can check out some cool lounges and tell us about it via DM or email and we will go see them! Make sure you follow and like and subscribe on all the socials and send in your emails. We have loads more swag to give away.
First off I didn't review the cigar at the end so here's the review. Strength out of 10: 5 Flavor out of 10: 8 Over all flavors: it is a complex review on the two predominant flavors of leather and wood, with everything from warm new leather furniture to old leather horse tac. The wood is complex as well with oak, cedar, and sweet cinnamon. Less prevalent flavors of cream, mashed potatoes and spices of smoked paprika and black pepper. That is out of the way, now the content. I talk about lounge business, the still unraveling news out of Nicaragua and the current co-presidents civil rights violations and power grab and what it could do to the cigar industry and the buyers of Nicaraguan cigars. Buy now save later I say. I also talk about some good cigars I've had and enjoyed and some shows that are available on prime video. It is a cigar heavy episode but I was alone and gave you over an hour and a half. Our next episode will be my recap on the New England Cigar Expo.

Julian is back for another special episode. We talk about our Independence Day celebrations and traditions. We then light up a novelty premium cigar that was burning a hole in Harold's locker. The specifics are unknown but the quality was top notch and the infusion of flavor was more of a novelty than a major benefit or detraction from the experience. We also hit a topic that Harold and the group has been kicking around for a long time. The subject is a sensitive topic for some listeners but we are on the side of the victims of child trafficking, abuse and assault. Listener discretion advised for the last hour. We talk about he root causes, seeming minimization, and excusing of the above crimes against humanity. We discuss the existence of evil or lack there of. Where do you fall on that subject. Is there a battle between good and evil? Let us know in the comments or send us an email.
Today on ep 118 we light up the HOLY COW, it's a Nicaraguan cigar rolled by JC Newman at the PENSA factory in Nicaragua blended for The Cigar Authority. I'm still editing though, sorry. Sit back, light up, get a drink and enjoy. Keep sending in your emails to win an American flag humidor or a Hombre Ashtray.

We talk ebikes and emotos and how unlicensed kids are endangering themselves and others on road. Mike is law enforcement anonymously but has years of experience. We chat about distracted driving and harm mitigation methods and what makes a off road vehicle and where these off road vehicles should be. We don't find a solution because this is new tech and new issues but we do identify issues with new tech in a new world. "Everyone remembers back in the day when we all were silly" but the world is different drivers are different and the laws have trouble keeping up. We also enjoy an Aganorsa Leaf cigar made for Single Cask Nation aged in a Balcones peated single malt barrel. We couldn't get the bottle but we do enjoy a single malt whiskey that has peat. Make sure to send in your emails to win an ashtray cigarsandconversationspod@gmail.com
Are limited editions worth it? We think so in this case. If it weren't impossible to find, expensive on the secondary market, and only available in New Hampshire when it was for sale it could have been a contender for the cigar of the year! As for the conversation, we didn't get all the way through it but here's the question: smoking outdoors is legal for now with few exceptions but if you live in suburbia, city limits, or in an apartment complex you have neighbors and need to be courteous. If you're a guest and want a cigar you need to be kind. If it's your party you have to be generous and conscientious of your guests and your neighbors. That said, What's your ideal bbq pairing cigar and main course? Also, make sure you send in your email to enter a contest. Best email wins the ashtray shown in the album art. We will read all the emails, best 3 online for the contest will be voted on by us. Stay tuned for your opportunity to win more stuff. Come in person to claim your prize or we will send it via ups to your address. Make sure you have a valid email to reply to for your prize. sign your email with the name you want read on the show.
Graydon is back in town and we talk about what makes a premium or boutique cigar?
What happens when you forget about cigars in your humidor for 2 years? Some get better, some get worse and some just mellow out very nicely.
What would you do if you had an extra day off on a rainy day? Whatever you said unless you said smoke a cigar with a friend, you're wrong!
Well, we have a new public bathroom downtown, we smoke some cigars and we chat about last season and this seasons pics for professional football americano, aka real foot ball. the other countries play soccer. Kyle had his favorite cigar so far La Gianna Corona Maduro, the rest of us have a selection of Opus X. We make references all the time to the dreaded experience we had with some petite corona opus xs we had a couple years back. What's with all the hype? Are high dollar limited releases worth it? You be the judge after you try a few. Listen to the end to hear our opinions.
Sadly due to tech issues I lost the last Episode with Jeff and Harold and 3 Star Jim and the Muestra De Saka The Bewhitched. So today I'm burning a 36 dollar cigar and telling you folks how to smoke a cigar and talking about the recent government shutdown and supreme court debates. I also talk about cigar events, some cigar and drink adventures, and how to deal with cigar beetles if you ever get them and how to avoid getting them.
