Horrors From The Vault - A Tales from the Crypt Fancast

Horrifying Hunter, Devilish Dan and Appalling Ash reach Ear Today… Gone Tomorrow (season 7, episode 12, aired July 12, 1996), the last traditional live-action episode of Tales from the Crypt. A safecracker who has lost his hearing turns to a mad surgeon with some very unusual transplants. Along the way the hosts find out they read the wrong comic, share their favorite gross-out body horror, and visit the Crypt Keeper's "Slaymart." Final score: 3, 3 and 2.5 severed thumbs. Horrifying Hunter, Devilish Dan and Appalling Ash open Confession (season 7, episode 11, aired July 5, 1996). Three headless bodies turn up in London, and Eddie Izzard plays a horror screenwriter whose research habits make him the prime suspect, opposite Ciarán Hinds as England's top homicide detective. The hosts split on whether the episode tips its hand too early. They also cover Halloween physical media picks, the 1952 comic behind the story and an unexpectedly long detour into Thunderpants. Final score: 3.5, 3.5 and 4 severed thumbs. The post Horrors from the Vault – Confession first appeared on NEOZAZ .

Horrifying Hunter, Devilish Dan and Appalling Ash reach About Face (season 7, episode 10, aired June 28, 1996). In it, a hypocritical reverend's long-lost daughter turns up on his doorstep, claiming to be one of twins. Imelda Staunton, better known as Dolores Umbridge, plays his wife, which sets off plenty of Harry Potter talk. The hosts also dig into the comic source, the Crypt Keeper's turn as a blues guitarist and some truly unfortunate makeup. Final score: 1.5, 1 and 1.5 severed thumbs.
