Michael in an interdisciplinary artist from the San Francisco Bay Area, currently based in Durham, North Carolina. He explores the language of cinema as a tool to create experimental video, sound, performance, and installations. Michael has exhibited and screened his work internationally at museums and galleries, most recently in Oaxaca, Mexico, and Montreal, Quebec. He holds an MFA from the former Mills College and is an adjunct professor at the UNC-Chapel Hill Department of Art and Art History, where he teaches experimental video in the studio arts.
