The Program has made its decision, and the agents have made theirs. A phone number leads to a midnight meeting with someone willing to help, though not enough to ask too many questions. From there, the trail runs through back rooms, borrowed favors, and equipment no one intends to account for. By the time the agents reach El Paso, the job has become simpler in theory and much worse in practice. There is a facility behind fences, people moving in and out, and no clear way to know what is happening inside without getting closer. So they watch. For now, that is the easy part. The investigation is over. The agents have traced the evidence, argued over what it means, and prepared their recommendations for the Program. All that remains is to hand over the report and let someone higher up the chain decide what happens next. To the Program, this is a question of timing. To the agents, it is a question of what happens while they wait. As the team waits for an answer, a question begins to take shape: What happens when following orders and doing the right thing stop being the same thing? The trail ends in El Paso. After hours buried in BLACK LANTERN, the agents can finally put a name to the last missing child of Cornucopia House. Conrad Hopko became Jacob Tillman. Jacob became Esau. And Esau found his way inside Immigration and Customs Enforcement, into a system filled with captive children. But the deeper the team digs, the less their investigation feels like an investigation. Something is watching from inside the walls. Something is beating itself bloody against the windows. And sometime after four in the morning, the universe delivers a message. By sunrise, the agents have their answer. They know who Conradin is. They know where he went. And across the ruined pages of their evidence, written in blood, something has given them their next assignment. Published by arrangement with the Delta Green Partnership. The storm has come to Tokyo. The Kazegama remains at large, the hour of an ancient ritual draws near, and the shinobi hunting it are running out of time—and patience. Sarutobi Hayate takes drastic action when when the shadow of suspicion falls upon the supernatural detective. Hattori Azami's loyalties are strained to the limit. Councillor Hattori Michiko delves into Tokyo's seedy underbelly to uncover Yagyuu Shinsaku's true motives. And Kido Renji keeps manipulating everyone around him. Then everything explodes into battles of will, rooftop confrontations, and drawn steel — and every ninja must finally decide what they’re willing to sacrifice. Thunder rolls. Blades flash. And beneath the blackened sky, the truth is waiting to strike. The intro music is "Fragile Horizon (Drama Trailer)" by Amaksi via Pixabay. The outro music is "Shinjuku" by Partyton via Pixabay.
Tokyo trembles beneath the summer rain. The legendary Kazegama has been stolen—a sacred blade capable of summoning storms—and five shinobi are drawn into a deadly web of suspicion, secret loyalties, and forbidden bonds! A politician hides the soul of a death-metal warrior. A kidnapping explodes into a high-speed rescue. A single whisper tears open the wounds of a forgotten past. Friend becomes suspect. Rival becomes ally. Devotion and mistrust collide beneath the neon lights! Who holds the blade? Who is manipulating the clans? And when the truth is finally revealed— Will these shinobi master the coming storm… or be destroyed by it? The intro music is "Fragile Horizon (Drama Trailer)" by Amaksi via Pixabay. A new team is called to Baltimore under pandemic lockdown. They do not know each other, and they do not know what happened to Working Group MASTICATE. All they have is a dead office, a classified file, and a name the Program cannot ignore: Conradin. Published by arrangement with the Delta Green Partnership. MASTICATE reaches Wesley Cool’s impossible tower, where an indestructible machine, an occult manual, and a dangerous new theory of reality await them. With time running out and the walls between worlds growing thin, the Agents must decide what can be destroyed, what must be understood, and how far they are willing to follow Cool’s work. Some doors are difficult to open. Some thresholds should not be crossed. Published by arrangement with the Delta Green Partnership. MASTICATE tries to keep one hand on the world they know. It does not work. Philomena meets an academic who speaks of impossible books and ancient mathematics as if they belong in a course catalog. Frank tests the edge of the barrier and finds himself holding both ends of a failed plan. Justin and Matthew step into a world perfected by PICKY EATER, where truth has been solved, argument has ended, and Wesley Cool has already moved on. Whatever PICKY EATER is now, for Cool, it was only the prototype. Published by arrangement with the Delta Green Partnership. Hoping the path to Wesley Cool lies somewhere in his past, MASTICATE digs into the origins of PICKY EATER. Every discovery reveals how far Cool’s invention has already spread. Every answer makes containment look less possible than it did a minute before. Philomena meets a researcher who knows much more than she should. And on a suburban Cambridge street, Frank, Matthew, and Justin encounter an acolyte of the Hushfather. Published by arrangement with the Delta Green Partnership. As the agents reconstruct Professor Wesley Cool's descent through the halls and apartments of MIT, the shape of his ambition finally starts to emerge: not a haunted app, not a glitch in reality, but a deliberate attempt to engineer a machine that turns consciousness into reality. And by the end of the search, MASTICATE realizes something even worse: Wesley Cool considered PICKY EATER just the beginning.
MIT sits inside a wound in the world. Beyond its edge waits a reality shaped by Wesley Cool’s certainty: a hollow kingdom built to flatter the man who made it. The closer MASTICATE gets, the less they can trust the things they carry, the people beside them, or the memories in their own heads. To survive, they start cutting themselves off one piece at a time. Working Group MASTICATE searches for a way to stop the man that created PICKY EATER, but Cool has had years to master his creation, and he has not been idle. The handoff goes sideways before MASTICATE realizes anything was wrong. Burners, Faraday bags, antennas pulled from the boards — none of it holds. PICKY EATER is further along than they understood, and the containment they thought they had was never containment at all. By the time they ask whether they're still in their own world, it's a question that no longer matters. Published by arrangement with the Delta Green Partnership. Both halves of MASTICATE arrive at the King property to find Vicki alive, her daughters older than they should be, and the walls between worlds already thin. Vicki can lead the team to PICKY EATER's origins, but in her world, her deepest fears are reality. The Reapers are out hunting and won't stop until they claim their prize. The line between worlds gets less clear with every PICKY EATER. It won't hold.
MASTICATE is down an agent and moving south with a replacement no one fully trusts yet. The lead is Vicki King — former IT worker and single mother, vanished from her job and her house in early 2018, a name that surfaced from Cordell Wallace's kitchen drawer. On paper, she's a ghost. In person, the house tells a different story. Of course, it matters which version of the house the agents see. Published by arrangement with the Delta Green Partnership. Matthew McCarter arrives at Frosty Pines alone. The trailers are pristine, the license plates wrong, the world subtly, completely off. Back in the real Frosty Oaks, the rest of MASTICATE works Cordell Wallace: a man with a grudge, a shotgun by the door, and something to hide. Somewhere on this property, a machine is running. While it does, McCarter is inside Robert Wallace's paranoid fantasy — and the team doesn't know he's gone. Published by arrangement with the Delta Green Partnership. The reality is gone, but the evidence isn't. MASTICATE works the aftermath — what was left behind, what it means, and what it points toward. The hardware in Audra Powell's server tells a story. One that ties back to MASTICATE'S past operations. The kind of connection that makes the work feel smaller and the threat feel larger. Frank makes a promise to SA Fallon Taylor. There's only one good lead left: Robert Wallace.
Out at Platte Air Force Base, Nebraska — population: twelve, and every single one of them is here because someone, somewhere, decided they were a problem not worth solving — the highlight of the week is poker night. Folding tables. A TV from 1979. Sometimes the Major provides whiskey and cigars. It's not much, but it's the best thing going on any given week. Then a van shows up. Men in suits and stormtrooper helmets. Orders say to let them do whatever they want and don't ask questions. The whole base watches them bake in the Nebraska heat from a respectful, not-technically-interfering distance, and starts a betting pool on why nameless government agents have come to Platte AFB. Before the night is over, the craziest bet in the pool is the one that pays. Published by arrangement with the Delta Green Partnership. W-Cell splits up to hunt Sweetness at both ends: one team holds the line in Tampa while the other races to Chicago to confront the broken woman behind it all. The disappearances are spreading, and whatever is reaching through the mirrors is getting closer every night. There are no easy answers, and every delay costs another life. Somewhere between grief, desperation, and the unnatural, something has gone terribly wrong. Published by arrangement with the Delta Green Partnership. Delta Green doesn’t chase ghosts, but a ghost hunter could be a useful tool. Gavin reaches out to an online contact who might have answers. Or at least the equipment to ask the right questions. Meanwhile, the rest of W-Cell prepares a stakeout at the Berniers’ home, waiting to see what visits young Kathryn in the middle of the night. If the visitor appears…what exactly are they supposed to do about it? Published by arrangement with the Delta Green Partnership. Delta Green doesn’t know where the apocalypse is going to start. Only that it’s never far away. So when a house in Florida hits the local news with restricted symbology carved into the front door, W-Cell gets the call. The police made a surface-level pass. Maybe it’s vandalism. Maybe it’s a hate crime. Now W-Cell has to decide if the symbol cut into yellow paint is a threat. They hope it’s nothing. It never is. Published by arrangement with the Delta Green Partnership.
