I started creating content in hopes of capturing these things on film! I began reaching out to like-minded people who have had encounters of their own to better understand the phenomenon! I have spoken to many people in North America who have close-up encounters with these creatures! I have been doing research by learning more about their behavior according to eye-witness testimonies that have been shared with me! In this episode of Sasquatch Theory, I sit down with filmmaker and Bigfoot researcher Jason Kenzie, creator of the Searching for Sasquatch series. Jason has traveled throughout Canada and the United States interviewing eyewitnesses and investigating some incredible reports surrounding the Sasquatch phenomenon. Jason shares his experiences speaking with First Nations people in Canada, who told him about what they referred to as the Sasquatch people. They showed Jason an area where they believed the creatures traveled, and while investigating the location, Jason discovered impressive tracks and what was described to him as a possible migration path. But some of Jason's most intense experiences would come later while investigating the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Deep in the forest, Jason and his fellow researchers discovered unusual tree structures, twisted trees, fresh breaks, and trees pushed across trails. After deciding to spend the night in a hammock tent, Jason smelled an awful, rotten odor and heard strange howls in the distance. Then something approached his hammock. Jason heard a loud crack followed by footsteps coming toward him. He says he could actually feel the vibrations through the hammock before something came close enough to grunt directly into his ear. And the activity didn't stop there. During continued investigations, the team experienced unexplained footsteps, fresh tree breaks, strange vocalizations, and mysterious eye shine that appeared to watch them from the darkness. One researcher using a high-end thermal device also reported observing something near their camp. Jason describes another frightening encounter in which he believes he witnessed two possible Sasquatch—one moving incredibly fast and another appearing to crawl away before disappearing into the forest. After reviewing his footage, Jason also noticed unexplained eye shine behind him. Jason even discusses recordings that he believes may have captured Sasquatch communicating back and forth in the wilderness. What was surrounding these researchers in the Michigan woods? On this episode of Sasquatch Theory, I interview Dan from northern Minnesota about a series of strange experiences that he and his family have had in the remote wilderness near Lake Superior. Dan’s family owns a secluded 40-acre property overlooking Lake Superior where they spend time hunting, fishing, camping, and exploring the surrounding forests. Approximately 15 years ago, Dan was on a fishing trip with a friend near Echo Lake when something suddenly woke him in the middle of the night. Coming from the surrounding wilderness was an extremely strange and powerful sound. Dan describes it as sounding almost like an air horn, but it appeared to be an unknown animal vocalizing repeatedly. Along with the vocalizations, they could hear what sounded like something pounding the ground. Neither Dan nor his friend has forgotten what they heard that night. The area also contained an abundance of raspberries and other natural resources that could potentially attract wildlife. Dan’s family has experienced other unexplained activity in northern Minnesota as well. His brother-in-law once heard a terrifying vocalization coming from a cedar swamp that he described as sounding like a “mountain gorilla.” During another experience, Dan and his son were hunting in the Chippewa National Forest when they suddenly developed a bad feeling about the area and decided to leave. As they made their way out, they discovered a freshly broken branch that had been torn from a tree and left directly in the middle of the trail. Dan’s main encounter occurred in the Silver Bay region near Lake Superior—an area surrounded by vast stretches of northern forest. What was producing these strange vocalizations in the middle of the night? Could Dan and his family have experienced signs of Sasquatch activity, or is there another explanation? On this episode of Sasquatch Theory, I sit down with Hugh Knight from NW Yeti Quest to discuss his incredible experiences and ongoing Sasquatch research in Washington State. Hugh describes an encounter where he was able to observe a Sasquatch for nearly an hour as it moved through a remote canyon. After spending more time investigating the surrounding region, Hugh believes he discovered an area where these creatures may be living. Hidden within the dense conifer forests of the Pacific Northwest, Hugh began documenting unusual formations including upside-down trees driven into the ground, arches, tree breaks, and other strange structures. He has also discovered salmon placed in trees, elk remains, and rocks that appear to have been deliberately moved or arranged. Some of Hugh's most unsettling experiences have happened while camping in the area. He claims the Sasquatch will approach his campsite after dark, sometimes coming extremely close to his tent. On this episode of Sasquatch Theory, I interview Dave from Michigan about a series of strange experiences that followed him through different stages of his life. Dave grew up on a farm near a swamp and spent much of his time outdoors hunting and exploring the surrounding wilderness. Long before he knew much about Sasquatch, he began experiencing things he couldn't easily explain. While walking through a field one summer, Dave heard something thrashing through the woods and caught sight of what appeared to be bipedal legs moving through the forest. At the time, he assumed it might have been a hunter or trespasser. Other strange incidents followed around the swamp and nearby state forest. Dave experienced an overwhelming feeling that he needed to leave the area as the woods suddenly became quiet. His brother later heard something large and heavy following him while hunting in the same swamp. During another hunt, Dave heard a massive tree crash behind his blind. He would later learn about a reported sighting from the 1980s in the same general area. After moving to Northern Michigan, the unusual activity continued. Dave describes rocks apparently being thrown near him, a dead rabbit found near his property, possible activity around his chicken coop, strange tree breaks and structures, and unusual discoveries while mountain biking—including part of a fawn left along a trail near a road appropriately named "Bigfoot Road." Then came Dave's most dramatic experience. While grilling burgers outside his home, Dave noticed something peeking from behind his shed. He describes seeing an approximately six-foot-tall, black, hairy bipedal creature with a face that was not completely covered in hair. The creature suddenly ran toward the field before diving into the trees. On this episode of Sasquatch Theory, I interview Kathleen about a series of unexplained encounters she experienced while hunting and camping near Prairie Lake in northern Minnesota. During one hunting trip, Kathleen heard a large animal approach her tent and move around her campsite during the night. The following morning, while sitting approximately 15 feet above the ground in her deer stand, she used a doe call and suddenly began hearing powerful pounding sounds coming from three different directions in the surrounding woods. When Kathleen eventually climbed down from her stand, she could hear the animals moving away through the thick vegetation. While exploring the area, she discovered a strange igloo-like structure made from numerous small saplings that appeared to have been woven together. Later, while walking through an extremely thick and dark section of black spruce, Kathleen noticed what appeared to be a black shadow following her along the trail. She initially wondered if wolves were moving through the timber, but she was never able to determine exactly what she had encountered. A few days later, Kathleen remembers seeing a news report involving teenagers who reportedly claimed to have seen a Bigfoot near Prairie Lake. Kathleen also shares another unexplained hunting experience from northern Wisconsin. After hearing a tree come crashing down and getting an uneasy feeling about the area, she later checked her trail camera and discovered a strange figure in one of the images. Deep in the redwood forests of Humboldt County, California, Jake experienced something terrifying while traveling through Northern California at just 16 years old. During his journey through a small remote town, Jake encountered a horrible smell coming from the woods and heard something large moving through the forest near him. After a strange interaction with a state patrol officer, Jake made his way to a local fire station where the activity escalated into a frightening encounter involving massive footsteps on the roof of the building and a creature so large it left him shaken. On this episode of Sasquatch Theory, I interview Mark from Colorado, an experienced hunter, trapper, bowhunter, and outdoorsman who has spent decades exploring the mountains and backcountry of the American West. Mark grew up on a farm in northeast Nebraska and eventually moved to Montrose, Colorado, in 1987. As he spent more time trapping, hunting, camping, Jeeping, and exploring remote areas of Colorado, he began experiencing strange events that he couldn't explain. Early experiences included animals mysteriously disappearing from his traps and an overpowering musky odor that Mark would encounter again years later. While sitting on a mountainside, he also experienced small green pine cones being thrown in his direction. During another camping trip, Mark witnessed what appeared to be a massive hand slowly pressing against the side of his tent. His experiences continued in areas around Silverton, Norwood, Grand Mesa, the San Juan Mountains, and the Uncompahgre Plateau. One of Mark's most detailed encounters occurred in a secluded meadow on the Uncompahgre Plateau. Mark describes watching a jet-black, heavily muscled primate-like creature rise from behind a log before eventually moving across the meadow on all fours. He was able to observe its face, body proportions, hands, feet, hair, and unusual movement in broad daylight. When Mark attempted to follow the creature, he began hearing what he describes as mouth pops or knocks coming from different directions. He quickly realized the creature he had seen might not have been alone. Mark also shares an encounter with what he believes was a juvenile Sasquatch while traveling through the northern Rocky Mountain region, along with an unusual experience near Norwood, Colorado, where he repeatedly heard a male voice in his mind telling him, “You can't camp here.” Toward the end of our conversation, Mark discusses his personal beliefs regarding the origin and nature of Sasquatch, including his belief that they may have a connection to the Nephilim. These are Mark's personal interpretations of his experiences, and viewers can decide for themselves what they believe. In this episode of Sasquatch Theory, I interview Heywood from the Crow Indian Reservation in Montana about a series of strange encounters experienced by him and members of his family. One of Heywood's earliest experiences began when he heard what sounded like a little girl screaming near the family's barn late at night. Heywood prayed and used traditional practices taught within his family. By the following day, his father discovered something disturbing near the barn—a barbed-wire fence had been pulled down, fence posts had been broken and bent, and part of the fence had been dragged approximately fifteen yards away. His family believed something extremely powerful had moved through the area. Another frightening incident occurred during the winter when Heywood's younger brother came running toward the house claiming he had seen Bigfoot outside. Heywood used a spotlight and saw a massive figure near the woodline that he estimated to be over seven feet tall. His younger sister, Otter, also witnessed the creature and described it as huge, with long hair, quick strides, and partially white coloration. Heywood later had another encounter while outside with friends. At first, he thought a horse or cow had gotten loose, but the massive figure suddenly bolted down a hill. He heard two tremendous thuds before the creature somehow began moving almost silently through extremely thick vegetation. Heywood noticed what appeared to be a white patch of hair on its leg, and his friend Olivia also witnessed the strange activity. The experiences extend even further into Heywood's family history. He describes two pairs of glowing eyes that he and his father witnessed near the property, as well as an account from his great-grandfather involving a terrible odor and a large hairy figure looking through a window. During our conversation, Heywood also discusses the spiritual and cultural perspective surrounding these experiences within his family, along with stories of giants, Little People, Thunderbirds, and the importance of maintaining a connection with the land. On this episode, I interview Dillon from Louisiana. Dillon grew up hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors with family. His experiences began at a young age after he and a friend explored woods near a creek and crossed onto neighboring property where they discovered the skeleton of a deer. Near a pond, they began hearing voices coming from the woods. Moments later, Dillon’s friend noticed something crouched down in the brush. He described a massive figure with broad shoulders making loud huffing and puffing sounds before they ran back home. Years later while squirrel hunting in Kisatchie National Forest, Dillon noticed movement in the timber and caught sight of a dark black shoulder disappearing behind a tree. The strange activity didn’t stop there. Dillon’s father experienced repeated tapping on a window that sat unusually high off the ground. His brother later reported seeing a massive white hairy creature outside at night. Dillon’s grandmother also shared stories of seeing a large hairy arm reaching toward a window and another encounter she associated with a reptilian “lizard man” type creature. Dillon believes these encounters point toward something that may exist between the physical and spiritual world. What do you think? Today on Sasquatch Theory, I sit down live with author and longtime Sasquatch researcher Christopher Noël from Vermont, creator of the Impossible Visits YouTube channel and author of several books exploring the mysteries surrounding the Sasquatch phenomenon. Christopher has spent years studying witness reports, habituation sites, Sasquatch behavior, and some of the more controversial aspects of the Bigfoot mystery. His 2009 book, Impossible Visits: The Inside Story of Interactions with Sasquatch at Habituation Sites, examined reports from researchers and witnesses who experienced ongoing activity in areas believed to be inhabited by Sasquatch. During this conversation, Christopher and I take a deep dive into what he has learned from years of research and countless witness accounts. We discuss his Sasquatch Savant Theory and the fascinating parallels he believes exist between certain reported Sasquatch behaviors and characteristics associated with autistic savants. John from Canada returns to Sasquatch Theory for Part 2 of his extraordinary story and shares even more strange experiences from the Canadian wilderness. During one incident, John came across a terrified park worker crouched down with bear spray. The worker had noticed unusually large rocks along the road and believed a massive creature was following him through the woods. On another occasion, John was swimming with a group when they began hearing strange vocalizations and whistles coming from the surrounding forest. As the years passed, John continued hearing unexplained sounds and experiencing unusual activity in the wilderness. John also met numerous people who claimed to have experienced Sasquatch encounters of their own. Interestingly, some of their stories came from the same areas where John had already experienced unexplained activity. But John’s story eventually becomes even stranger. While riding his bike, John describes feeling as though something he couldn’t see was chasing him. He also recounts an experience involving missing time and claims that he somehow found himself transported to another location without understanding how he got there. What was John encountering in the forests of Canada? Could some of these experiences be connected, or are there more conventional explanations? In this episode of Sasquatch Theory, I interview John about a series of strange Sasquatch encounters that began while he was serving in the Navy in 1987. John was driving down the road when he noticed an unusual fog beginning to roll into the area. As he continued driving, an enormous hairy creature—estimated to be around eight feet tall—suddenly walked in front of his vehicle. John said the creature reminded him of Chewbacca from Star Wars, and the experience stayed with him for years. But John's encounters didn't end there. During another experience, John believes he encountered a group of Sasquatch that began throwing rocks in his direction. John is also a drummer, and at one point he decided to play drums in an area where he believed the creatures were present. To his surprise, he began hearing what sounded like rock clacks coming back from the woods in response. Were the rock clacks simply a coincidence, or was something deliberately responding to the rhythm of John's drums? Dan joins me from Michigan to share a lifetime of unsettling encounters that took place near his family's remote cabin surrounded by the forests of northern Michigan near the Au Sable region. The property was originally owned by Dan's grandmother and became a place where the family spent countless weekends hunting, fishing, and exploring the wilderness. Everything changed during a bow hunting trip when Dan heard what he describes as one of the most horrifying screams he has ever experienced. The scream sounded like a woman being tortured and was so powerful he could actually feel the vibration through his body. Terrified, he immediately left the woods and returned to the cabin. That would only be the beginning. Dan later witnessed a massive reddish-brown, Bigfoot-like creature crossing a roadway before disappearing into thick timber. He also recalls repeatedly encountering an overwhelming foul odor while walking the lonely mile-long road to the mailbox, causing him to question what might have been watching from the surrounding forest. A close friend also experienced a remarkable sighting, observing what appeared to be a Sasquatch for nearly fifteen minutes as it moved from an open field into dense woodland. To add even more mystery, the family cabin was eventually broken into while they were away. Although it could have been the work of a bear, Dan has always wondered if something else may have been responsible. On this episode of Sasquatch Theory, I interview Cynthia from Tahlequah in the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma. What started as strange owl-like calls echoing through the forest eventually turned into years of terrifying activity surrounding her secluded property. Cynthia describes repeated incidents of rocks being thrown near her chicken coop, a powerful odor unlike anything she had ever smelled, and an overwhelming feeling that something was watching her from the woods. Friends and visitors experienced similar activity, including another witness who had rocks thrown at him while watching over her property. He also shares his own terrifying Sasquatch encounter from years earlier that forever changed the lives of both him and his girlfriend. As time passed, Cynthia began losing chickens, peacocks, and guinea fowl under mysterious circumstances. Then she discovered something that frightened her more than anything else—large dirt-and-rock mounds mysteriously built inside her chicken coop while she was away at work. The mounds appeared to have been intentionally constructed, with feathers from her missing birds carefully placed into the packed dirt. Even more puzzling, the dirt and rocks did not originate from the coop or the immediate area. Looking back on her childhood, Cynthia recalls strange experiences involving rocks and corn being thrown at her, hearing heavy breathing outside her home, and sensing an overwhelming dark presence that she never forgot. Joe from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania has spent most of his life hunting and fishing the forests of the Appalachian Mountains. In 2017, while leaving the woods just before a snowstorm, he noticed a strange triangular figure standing on a hillside. As he cautiously approached, the shape seemed to change, revealing what looked like two large black eyes staring back at him. Years later, while bow hunting the same mountain, Joe's encounters became much more intense. He describes hearing enormous footsteps circling his tree stand, strange grunts, loud wood knocks, and repeated tapping sounds that followed him through the forest. During one unforgettable encounter, Joe came face to face with a mysterious creature peeking from behind a tree. He describes a being with smooth facial skin, long human-like lips, enormous black eyes, hair surrounding the face, and a distinctive cone-shaped head. Joe returned to the same location week after week, and the strange activity continued. He believes the creature often watched him while he hunted and even made unusual vocalizations whenever deer appeared nearby. The encounters escalated even further when Joe witnessed what he first believed was an enormous black bear. Moments later, he realized it wasn't an ordinary bear at all. Standing eye-to-eye with the massive creature, he noticed an unusual bright white triangular marking on its chest before it suddenly disappeared into the forest. In another astonishing experience, Joe says he watched a massive creature charge and attack a black bear with such force that he could actually feel the impacts through his tree stand. In this episode, I sit down with **Rob and Diana from Kentucky** to discuss a series of experiences that began with a remarkable encounter in the **Daniel Boone National Forest** and continued years later with ongoing unexplained activity around their home and campsite. Rob's first encounter took place during the winter of **1998** while squirrel hunting on the London side of the Daniel Boone National Forest. After harvesting a few squirrels, he noticed movement flickering through a nearby pine thicket. Moments later, a massive **9-foot-tall Sasquatch** stepped out of the trees, calmly bent down, picked up the squirrels he had just harvested, turned around, and disappeared back into the pines without making a sound. Shocked by what he had witnessed, Rob returned with his father to search the area, where they discovered what they believed to be a massive footprint left behind by the creature. More than two decades later, in **2021**, Rob and Diana spent nearly three months camping in the Kentucky wilderness. During their stay, they noticed something that experienced outdoorsmen often describe before unusual encounters—the forest became unnaturally quiet. Wildlife disappeared, birds stopped singing, and an overwhelming foul odor lingered in the area for long periods of time. Even their dog sensed something was wrong and refused to behave normally. The strange activity didn't end there. After returning home, Rob and Diana began experiencing mysterious **red orbs** in the woods and across the night sky surrounding their property. For years, Roy has dedicated countless hours to researching the Sasquatch phenomenon throughout Texas and Oklahoma. In this episode of Sasquatch Theory, I interview Roger from Iron County, Missouri, about a frightening encounter that took place during the summer of 1975 near Big Creek. Roger and several friends had spent years camping, horseback riding, and swimming in the area. Around 2:00 in the morning, one of the horses mysteriously disappeared from the corral. Believing it had wandered into a nearby field, they saddled the remaining horses and began searching in the darkness. As they rode through the night, they suddenly spotted what Roger describes as a massive, approximately nine-foot-tall creature standing ahead of them. Although they only saw its silhouette, its broad shoulders and gorilla-like appearance immediately stood out. The horses became terrified, refusing to move forward, and one nearly threw its rider while trying to escape. Even an aggressive dog that feared nothing appeared completely intimidated by whatever was out there. The following morning, they returned to search for tracks and other evidence but found nothing that could explain what they had witnessed. Terry from the South Caribou area of British Columbia joins me to share a series of strange encounters taking place on family property in Canada. During a hunting trip in 2025, Terry attempted a deer call and immediately received loud wood knocks in response. When he repeated the call, another knock came from a different direction. The activity continued with repeated knocks around the cabin. Soon after, things became even stranger. Using thermal equipment, Terry observed unexplained orb activity over the property. One night a pulsating object flew overhead appearing to change colors. The following evening, additional family members witnessed unusual aerial activity again. Terry and his uncle later observed three glowing orbs moving around the land. The encounters did not stop there. Tracks appeared near locations where something seemed to be watching from the tree line. Sharp whistles echoed through the woods. Tree structures began appearing. Terry’s brother reported seeing a massive white Sasquatch-like creature estimated around 12 feet tall that appeared to disappear into the forest without explanation. Since then, Terry says the activity continues to increase—voices in the woods, trees being pushed over, eerie screams, close orb encounters, and reports from surrounding properties describing similar experiences. In this episode of Sasquatch Theory, I interview Lori Ann from Campbellsport, Wisconsin, who shares a lifetime of strange and unexplained experiences. Her most terrifying encounter occurred in April of 2010 around 2:00 in the morning while driving down a rural county road. Lori says she looked into her rearview mirror and noticed what appeared to be a massive dog-like creature rapidly gaining on her vehicle while she was already traveling approximately 55 miles per hour. As the creature closed the distance, she could clearly see its glowing orange-yellow eyes and bluish-black body. Believing her life was in danger, she accelerated to nearly 80 miles per hour before finally escaping. She estimates the animal was almost as large as her compact car and says the experience has haunted her ever since. To this day, she avoids driving that stretch of road. Lori also discusses the strange activity she experienced while living in the countryside near Campbellsport. She recalls hearing unexplained whistles coming from the woods, having small objects thrown in her direction, and repeatedly finding that something was taking her goats from the property. Ducks and geese were also found dead with their heads missing, while her dog would constantly bark toward the tree line as though something was watching from the woods. Lori believes these incidents may have been connected to Sasquatch activity. The interview also touches on a UFO sighting reported by her teenage son, along with paranormal experiences Lori says she has encountered throughout her life. She explains how difficult it has been to share these events because of the fear of being judged or called crazy by people she trusted.
