Did you think we would forget? Nah, we gotchoo. We chat about the crushing defeats of day two, discuss if secondaries are worth the hassle, and ponder whether or not Graydon could pull off a crop top.
We have waited a long time for this event, and now it’s done. Such is the way of things I suppose. There were unbelievable highs and devastating lows, but we made it out the other side. This is the tales of those times.
There isn’t much time left between now and the premier Age of Sigmar event in Northern British Columbia. Finish those models, make sure you hit your MTQ, and don’t forget your dice bag, cause we have a tournament to play. We have both been playing a lot of games against Sylvaneth, and roma and I spend a bit of time comparing notes on what we think of this army, as well as me spending all my rage dice losing my cool talking about how much I dislike this season’s new fury mechanic.
We, the Milkshake II: Sigmar’s Boogaloo is behind us. I had a lot going on lately, and putting this all together was a bit of a struggle for me, but as usual my lovely wife saved my bacon and helped me to put this together. Thanks to everyone who took a day to spend playing AoS with me and Roma. See you again in the fall.
Well, we sat down at the same table at least to play out game. I now get you. I get what you have all been saying. Stormcast are dumb. Anywho, I can rise above the pettiness of getting skunked to once again dive head long back into AoS after being distracted for the last month or so.
The last of my vacation is over and the mundane existence resumes. But things are never really mundane when you have Age of Sigmar to play. Lots of upcoming events, and roma has played a whack load of games lately, and my secret Cogfort project has overcome its final hurdle and am excited about that.
I know it was only a couple days between the release of the GHB and the aqshy warscrolls, but for me that was three games! Nevertheless, they are out now and it’s time to fire up the ap and start building armies for what will be the last year of this edition. Let’s send it out with a bang!
Well all need to get away from time to time, and ours happened right as all the cool AoS stuff dropped, so we kinda missed the hype train. That’s ok though as we are back, fresh, and ready to smash out some games with the new AoS!
Man, that was a great single day event. The more of these RTT’s I’m involved in, the more I like them. Three games, all the hype of day one GT without the exhaustion and sore feat of the second day. In this episode Roma talks about how much fun she had as well as touching on all the other events going on this weekend and the near future. So much AoS!
Spoiler alert: We are talking about the leaked GHB that appeared mysteriously on the internet. We do a bit of a cover of the new battle plans and the battle tactics. I got to say, I think this will have decent play for the next year.
Roma’s Fellowship of the Late is just days away. And we are finally starting to get some previews again. Also, I need to explain to Roma the significance of an unopened box of minis. Please enjoy.
It’s not really the end of the dudes, I just had to channel so Jim Morrison there for a second. Well Roma’s Fellowship of the Latte is getting close and she can’t wait to tell you about all the stuff she has planned. I also have thoughts on Cogforts and small terrain.
So the moment we’ve all been waiting for is finally here, the new GHB. It better be amazing because this is going to take us all the way to the rumoured last world. From what we’ve seen so far I am cautiously optimistic. Also, I’m adding a new segment to the podcast, your Realm of Fire Hot Takes. Might even do a sound bite for it. We are hoping to record as frequently as these drop so there could be a ton of content over the coming weeks. Hopefully you can hold on for the ride. Please enjoy.
