Welcome Back! This week we drew some inspiration from our friends across the Tasman at Australian Golf Passport, and Michael Goldstein and I constructed our All NZ 18s. Which is picking our 18 favourite holes in New Zealand with each course only being able to be used once and each hole must feature in the same place in its home routing. It was a pleasure to chat with both 1991 Open Champion Ian Baker-Finch and our homegrown broadcasting extraordinaire, George Harper Junior to reflect on Ryan Fox's amazing win at Royal Birkdale. Ian gave great insight on Birkdale as a tournament test, his pride on how Australasia punches far above its weight on the world stage, and what advice he would give Ryan after his maiden major win. George has unique insight having been a broadcaster with The Open since 2018 and having played a good chunk of golf with Foxy over the years, including a pre-tournament tune up this year at North Berwick. Welcome Back! It was a pleasure to sit down with Dylan Higgins recently to preview this week's NZPGA Championship at Paraparaumu Beach GC. Dylan is 16 months into the GM role and gave plenty of great insight about how PBGC has come to host the event, and how he believes one of the great courses of New Zealand will provide a championship test to the players this week. I'd encourage anyone in the area to get there this week, and look forward to continuing the strong tournament run of golf around the country,
