The voice of Canada, Rod Smith was the final guest on today's show. He stopped by to preview this CFL Week 16, as well as recap last weeks games in the CFL. TSN Hockey Analyst Jamie McLennan joined the show today to gear up for the upcoming season, leading off with his take on how Mike Babcock will manage relationships with key veterans like Ryan Nugent-Hopkins. "Noodles" then offered his early impressions on new additions to the lineup—starting with defenseman Ryan Shea—before analyzing whether Babcock will keep the Oilers' elite power play intact or overhaul the system. Finally, the segment wrapped up with McLennan weighing in on Edmonton's latest roster move, sharing his thoughts on the decision to bring forward Alex Formenton into the mix. From there, the conversation shifted to the bigger picture in Oil Country, debating if the Oilers are still firm Stanley Cup contenders heading into the season.
