If you're listening because you've just walked through a chemical pregnancy or early miscarriage, sister, I'm so glad you're here. Your baby was real, your grief is real, and you're not alone. Today I share an opening the Lord put on my heart (one I honestly didn't want to do), we read Romans 5 together on what suffering produces, and then I walk you through my three tips for healing after loss — spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Episode Highlights: What a chemical pregnancy is — and why your baby's life absolutely counts The physical reality of miscarriage that we rarely talk about Uniting your suffering to Christ's suffering, and how His suffering became the giver of new life Romans 5: suffering, endurance, character, and hope Praying "take this cup from me" — and "Your will be done" Emotional healing: processing when you're ready, and who to process with Ways to memorialize your baby, including the angel painting in my home Physical healing: why ovulation can return as early as two weeks after a loss, and why I tell clients to wait at least three cycles and chart Resources & Links: ✨ Scripture: Romans 5:1–8 ✨ Kristen’s Story on Episode 174 ✨ Precious Lives Burial - A Catholic ministry for those that have walked through the loss of a child in pregnancy or at birth. ✨ Join Fertility Framework : If you're ready for deeper support, personalized cycle guidance, and faith-filled encouragement, come join me inside Fertility Framework! Have you ever known exactly what you "should" eat for your hormones — and still struggled to actually do it? I've watched so many of my clients wrestle with this, and today I'm bringing in someone who has the answers. Brittany Braswell, MS, RDN, LD, is a registered dietitian, speaker, host of the Faith-Filled Food Freedom podcast, and creator of the Joy Filled Eater Course. She helps Christian women break free from food guilt, body image struggles, and diet culture with a faith-centered, practical approach. Together we talk about why food rules backfire, how shame sneaks in, and how to nourish your body for fertility without losing your peace in the process. Episode Highlights: What "moralizing food" is — and how good-food/bad-food language opens the door to guilt and shame Why sticking to a fertility diet is rarely a knowledge problem The restrict–give in–guilt–start-over-Monday cycle, and how to break it The difference between healthy guilt (conviction) and shame ("I am the problem") Trading rigid rules for goals and guardrails — and observing instead of judging Brittany's 4-step nutrition framework: adequacy, balance, variety, then specific nutrition Why you shouldn't cut carbs and fat when you're supporting your hormones A prayer for your next right step with food, fertility, and your cycles Resources mentioned: ✨ Faith-Filled Food Freedom podcast & Brittany's free resources: brittanybraswellrd.com/podcast ✨ Join Fertility Framework : If you're ready for deeper support, personalized cycle guidance, and faith-filled encouragement, come join me inside Fertility Framework! If you've ever tried to "fix" your body by eating less and working out harder, this conversation is for you. I'm joined by Coryn Brown and Crysanne Clay, the mother-daughter coaching team behind Her Healthy Body , who spent years caught in diet culture before God showed them a completely different way to care for their bodies. We talk about how restriction and over-exercise can burn out your hormones and make ovulation harder, what truly nourishing your body looks like, and why 15 minutes of strength training may do more for you than an hour of cardio. Most of all, we talk about inviting God into the everyday decisions of what we eat and how we move — not out of punishment, but out of purpose. Content note: this episode includes a guest's personal story of disordered eating. Episode Highlights: How a mother and daughter fell into diet culture together — and found their way out with God Why undereating and constant cardio can lower estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone and disrupt ovulation The moment skinny stopped being the goal and purpose took its place Why protein and fiber matter at every meal — and the trouble with processed "health" foods Simple, doable ways to eat more whole foods in a busy season Why daily movement and short strength sessions support your hormones and blood sugar Telling your body "I'm safe": encouragement for the woman who feels broken Connect with Coryn & Crysanne Her Healthy Body podcast (Apple Podcasts, Spotify) Her Healthy Body Facebook group Resources & Links: ✨ Join Fertility Framework : If you're ready for deeper support, personalized cycle guidance, and faith-filled encouragement, come join me inside Fertility Framework! A couple of weeks after one of my miscarriages, I called my doctor about some intense stomach pain, and she asked me a simple question: "Are you ovulating?" I had no idea. I couldn't even tell you what ovulation was, let alone whether it was happening in my body. That phone call started me down the path that led to everything I teach today. In this episode, I walk you through the ovulation cycle the way I teach it inside Fertility Framework: the four main hormones, what a healthy ovulatory and luteal phase look like, the three things conception actually requires, and how long I recommend charting after a loss before trying again. And we anchor it all in Psalm 139:14, because you are fearfully and wonderfully made, even in the most broken season. Episode Highlights: The phone call that made me realize I didn't know what ovulation was Psalm 139:14 and holding onto your God-given design in a hard season Why we call it the ovulation cycle, not the menstrual cycle FSH, estrogen, LH, and progesterone: how four hormones work together to release an egg The corpus luteum, and why progesterone is literally "pro-gestation" What healthy cervical mucus and a healthy luteal phase look like Good sperm, good egg, good mucus: the three keys to conception How many cycles I recommend charting after a miscarriage before trying again Resources & Links: ✨ Join the newly updated Fertility Framework for a limited sale price of $497 that ends this Friday : If you're ready for deeper support, personalized cycle guidance, and faith-filled encouragement, come join me inside Fertility Framework! Your app says you ovulated. Your OPK lit up. But did your body actually ovulate? In this episode I'm sharing why period apps and ovulation predictor kits can't confirm ovulation on their own, how relying on their predictions can cause you to miss your fertile window, and why I believe the final word on your fertility should come from the body God designed and the wisdom He gives you, not an algorithm. Episode highlights: Why period apps predict ovulation from past cycles instead of what your body is doing right now The outdated "day 14" assumption and why your follicular phase naturally varies cycle to cycle What an LH surge really tells you, and why it doesn't prove ovulation happened How tools like Inito can support fertility awareness without replacing it How timing intercourse around an app's guess can mean missing your fertile window Bringing prayerful discernment back into how you understand your cycle Resources & Links ✨ Hormone Reset Boot Camp. Do you feel like a completely different person the week before your period? Irritable, anxious, exhausted, maybe snapping at your husband over nothing? Friend, that might be more than "just PMS." It could be low progesterone. In this episode, I'm walking through the top three low progesterone symptoms to watch for when you're trying to get pregnant. But first, we're starting where I always want to start: with our faith. What's happening in our bodies is so connected to what's happening in our souls, and it is really hard to bear the fruit of the Spirit when your hormones are boiling over. Episode highlights: Two questions to bring to the Lord when you suspect low progesterone (Psalm 139:23–24) Why being fully surrendered to God doesn't make hormone imbalance easy to live with The "pot of boiling water" analogy that helped my husband understand what I'm going through Symptom #1: PMS the week before your period, including mood swings, anxiety, headaches, tender breasts, and poor sleep Symptom #2: Spotting and brown bleeding Symptom #3: A short luteal phase (luteal phase defect) and how to recognize one Your homework: a one-on-one meeting with Jesus, and an honest conversation with someone you trust Resources & Links: ✨ Hormone Reset Boot Camp. If you've ever wondered whether your infertility or your losses mean you're somehow cursed by God — sister, I need you to hear this episode. Today we're going all the way back to Genesis 3 to unpack what the "curse" actually was, who it fell on, and why sorrow and conception being connected in Scripture doesn't mean you've been singled out or exiled. We'll also walk through Revelation 12 and talk honestly about the spiritual warfare that surrounds fertility, pregnancy, and birth — not to scare you, but to give you perspective and put you back on your knees in prayer instead of in fear. Episode Highlights Why the curse in Genesis 3 fell on the serpent and the ground — not on the man and the woman — and what that means for you Unpacking Genesis 3:16 in the King James Version: "sorrow" as hardship, and why it's directly connected to conception Why women facing infertility and miscarriage are absolutely included in this passage — even though it doesn't always feel that way Genesis 3:15 and Revelation 12:17: the enmity between the woman's offspring and the enemy, and what it means for your fertility journey Why Satan has a strategy against the unborn — and why that should build your faith instead of your fear Building your fertility journey on the foundation of Christ before any protocol, chart, or lab test Resources & Links: ✨ Hormone Reset Boot Camp. Growing up, I thought brown spotting was just a normal part of my period. I didn't know any different. Until I learned that for most women, it's actually a sign your body is asking for help. In this episode, I'm breaking down when brown bleeding is genuinely no big deal, when it crosses the line, and what it might be telling you about your hormones, especially your progesterone. The small window where brown spotting is truly normal — and where it isn't Why brown bleeding often points back to low progesterone The biomarkers your body uses to "talk" to you all cycle long How stress, sleep, adrenal health, and thyroid function all feed into your hormones Why this is about more than symptoms — following Jesus in the middle of your fertility journey A prayer over your body, your cycle, and your healing Resources & Links: ✨ Hormone Reset Boot Camp. "This app told me I ovulated." Sister, I hear it constantly — and every time, I have to fight the urge to roll my eyes. Because here's the truth: an algorithm cannot tell you what your body is actually doing. Today I'm breaking down why fertility apps so often get it wrong, and what real, God-given science actually reveals about your ovulation. We start by grounding ourselves in Matthew 6:25–34. We let go of the worries, deep concerns and anxiousness that is connected to our bodies and our desire for a baby. And then dive into the incredible fertility science God revealed to researchers back in the 1950s. Episode Highlights: Why fertility tracking apps and algorithms so often get ovulation predictions wrong Grounding our fertility anxiety in Matthew 6:25–34 before we get into the science The 1950s discovery that gave us modern fertility awareness methods — and its surprising origin story What FEMM (Fertility Education and Medical Management) actually teaches, and why real charting education matters The biomarkers that truly reveal ovulation: cervical mucus, basal body temperature, mittelschmerz, cycle phase length, and LH Why the only 100% way to confirm ovulation is an ultrasound — and how charting gets you remarkably close An update on the Fertility Framework program waitlist, reopening this fall Resources & Links: ✨ Tell me what my hormones are saying: bekahyawn.com/quiz ✨ Join Fertility Framework: Fertility Framework is currently closed for some exciting revisions — I'm making updates I can't wait for you to see! You just saw the two lines. Before you call your doctor, before you tell your husband, before you do anything else — I believe there's one thing you're called to do first. In today's episode, I'm walking through the spiritual first step every woman needs after a positive pregnancy test, anchored in the story of Mary's "yes" to the angel Gabriel in the Gospel of Luke. Episode Highlights: Why the very first response to a positive test shouldn't be a phone call or a plan The story of Mary and Gabriel in Luke 1:26–38, and her response of total surrender What "fiat" means, where the word comes from, and why it's central to how I coach women through fertility and pregnancy How Hannah's story in 1 Samuel shows us what it looks like to give a long-awaited child back to God Why your spiritual state directly impacts your physical body, your emotional health, and your baby A caution against seeking answers from Google, "crazy AI searches," or the wisdom of the world before seeking God first Resources & Links: ✨Pregnant? This week I'm joined by Amy, one of my former doula clients, for her very first podcast — and it is such an honor to share her story with you. Amy walks us through two miscarriages, the holistic root-cause care that helped her family heal in between, and the beautifully unusual, deeply prayerful birth of her son, Andrew. From a centuries-old Marian devotion to a hospital room filled with Gregorian chant and prayer intentions for other women still waiting — Amy's story is a picture of what it looks like to hold suffering and hope together. Episode Highlights Amy's story of two early losses — her son Gabriel and daughter Kiara — and the question of "is this the cross the Lord has for me?" Why she and her husband Chris sought root-cause fertility care right away instead of waiting for "recurrent" loss criteria The Our Lady of La Leche devotion — a centuries-old prayer for conception — and finding out she was pregnant ten days after starting it Navigating hyperemesis gravidarum, a broken foot, and a bucket-list trip to Italy in the third trimester Building a birth team: a holistic OB, a low-intervention hospital-based OB, and a doula Inside the birth: 30 hours of quiet labor, a mid-labor nurse switch, and 3.5 hours of pushing Offering up each contraction and push as a prayer intention for other women walking through infertility Amy's encouragement for women healing after loss, and for women preparing for birth Resources & Links: ✨”Husband-Coached Childbirth: The Bradley Method of Natural Childbirth” by Robert A Bradley and Ashley Montagu ✨”Made for This: The Catholic Mom's Guide to Birth” by Mary Haseltine ✨ Hallow Prayer App ✨ Join Fertility Framework : If you're ready for deeper support, personalized cycle guidance, and faith-filled encouragement, come join me inside Fertility Framework! Postpartum Fertility, FIAT - Let It Be & the Return of Your Cycle Got baby fever while you're still breastfeeding? You're not alone — and today I'm walking you through what's actually happening hormonally in your body during this postpartum, nursing season, plus how to say "fiat" (let it be) to God's timing for your next pregnancy. We start with Ecclesiastes 3:1 and Mary's own "fiat" to Gabriel, then get into the nerdy fertility science. What is prolactin and how can it suppress ovulation? What does weaning actually do to your hormone timeline? And what about other root-cause issues — such as the thyroid, gut, adrenals, inflammation — and can they keep your cycle from bouncing back? Episode Highlights: Why prolactin can suppress your ovulatory hormones (FSH, estrogen, LH, progesterone) while breastfeeding What actually happens hormonally when you wean — and why it can take 2 to 6 cycles to fully reset The Mary "FIAT" framework for surrendering your fertility timeline to God's plan Root-cause yellow flags to watch for postpartum: sleep, gut health, inflammation, mood, and stress hormones Why charting your biomarkers matters even before your cycle has returned A personal, slightly hilarious story about how Bekah's second son was conceived — and what she'd do differently now Resources & Links: ✨I’m sharing a free thyroid labs resource that can help you uncover a major root issue many women never get fully tested for, click here: bekahyawn.com/thyroidlabs ✨ Join Fertility Framework : If you're ready for deeper support, personalized cycle guidance, and faith-filled encouragement, come join me inside Fertility Framework! If you're in the two-week wait right now, fighting the urge to control every detail, this one's for you. I'm sharing the story of a mom and her exhausted toddler on a plane — and what it taught me about how hard it is to actually surrender to Jesus instead of just white-knuckling through the waiting. We sit with Matthew 11:28 — "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" — and I get honest about a prideful pattern in my own prayer life I'm still unlearning: thinking that praying the "right" way will get me the outcome I want. Then I walk you through a practice that's been reshaping how I pray through the waiting: the Surrender Novena. EPISODE HIGHLIGHTS A listener review from Sydney on finding hope through the Fertility Framework course The plane-ride parable: a toddler fighting his mom's arms until he finally surrenders into rest Sitting in Matthew 11:28 and hearing Jesus' invitation as if for the first time Why the mind, body, and spirit are connected — and why addressing your spirit first changes everything else A confession: the pride of thinking "praying it right" earns a specific outcome from God What the Surrender Novena is and how to begin praying it this week A closing prayer over every woman carrying the weight of "is this the time?" Today I'm joined by Abigale Ball, a past Fertility Framework client who is now eight months pregnant with her second baby — a girl! Abigail opens up about the mysterious, unexplained pain she experienced while trying to conceive her son, the deliverance and inner healing ministry that became a turning point in her physical and emotional healing, and what her cycle charts actually looked like heading into both pregnancies (spoiler: they weren't "perfect," and that's exactly the point). We talk honestly about secondary infertility fears, the difference between relying on the physical versus trusting the spiritual, and what it really means to surrender your timeline to the Lord — even while you're doing the practical work of charting and understanding your body. Episode Highlights: Abigail's story of unexplained reproductive pain and an ER visit that led nowhere medically How deliverance and inner healing ministry became a turning point in her fertility journey The prophetic name and vision Abigail received before conceiving her son, Samuel Her shift from relying 80% on the physical to trusting the Lord spiritually What her actual fertility charts showed — a short luteal phase and low thyroid indicators — and how she conceived twice anyway Why surrender, not a perfect chart, was the turning point both times Encouragement for anyone sitting on the fence about learning to chart their cycle Resources & Links: ✨ SALE 🎉 Join Fertility Framework : If you're ready for deeper support, personalized cycle guidance, and faith-filled encouragement, come join me inside Fertility Framework! This week I'm handing the mic to someone who's been walking this journey right alongside me: my husband, Adam. After losing our daughter Hannah at 12 weeks, I've told my side of our story more times than I can count. But today, Adam shares his. If you're a wife wondering how to help your husband process, or a husband wondering how to show up for his grieving wife, this conversation is for you. Episode highlights Adam and Bekah's story of losing their daughter Hannah at 12 weeks Why husbands often process grief on a slower timeline than their wives, and why that isn't a lack of love What it looked like for Adam to set his emotions aside to support Bekah, then process them later on his own Practical ways husbands can show up physically, emotionally, and spiritually Adam's encouragement for dads to find another dad who has walked this road Resources & Links: ✨Join Fertility Framework : If you're ready for deeper support, personalized cycle guidance, and faith-filled encouragement, come join me inside Fertility Framework! This is a heavy one — and I mean that in the holiest way. I recorded this episode with a dear friend on my heart. She just walked through a miscarriage, and I've been right there with her — sitting on her doorstep, going to the memorial, feeling every layer of it. And if you've ever been in that place where everyone around you is still pregnant and you're not, I made this for you. Because that feeling — of watching someone keep the gift that was taken from you — is one of the hardest parts of loss that no one talks about. The jealousy. The resentment. The way a baby bump across the room can undo you. It's real, and it's okay, and I want to sit with you in it today. In this episode: Why seeing other pregnancies after loss feels so unjust — and why that feeling is valid A perspective on suffering that reframes your loss as a different kind of gift, not a lesser one How your grief can draw you closer to Christ than almost anything else could Why I think social media is making your healing harder — and what to do about it How to genuinely bless others in their pregnancy while honoring your own sorrow A prayer for the woman whose womb feels empty and whose heart is heavy Resources & Links: ✨75k Downloads = A Big Giveaway for YOU!
