The Great Indiana State Fair is in full swing, and we're excited to share the sights, sounds, and flavors of this beloved event with you. From the dairy bar to the animal exhibits, there's something for everyone to enjoy. In this episode, Terri Stacy chats with the folks behind the dairy bar, learning about the art of making butter, and getting a behind-the-scenes look at the cheese sculpture that's been a tradition at the fair for 20 years. Terri also speaks to the Indiana State Police about a recent incident that occurred at the fair, and learning about the measures they're taking to ensure everyone's safety. Plus, we're catching up with the State Fair Queen and her court, who are sharing their experiences and favorite moments from the fair so far. And, of course, we're indulging in some delicious fair food, including the famous blue raspberry milkshake and the Big Dill grilled cheese. But what really sets this episode apart is our conversation with Sarah Kaufman, the talented artist behind the cheese sculpture. She's been carving cheese for 20 years, and her creations are truly breathtaking. Terri also speaks with some of the young people who are working at the dairy bar, learning about their experiences and what they love about the fair.
