Welcome everyone to Integrative OT's last podcast episode! I have so enjoyed having everyone here to follow along on this journey & sincerely hope you've been able to walk away with new knowledge that has helped strengthen your occupational participation and engagement! For my last episode, I interviewed the lovely Allie Parsons, Functional Nutritionist (website https://www.offbeetholisticfdn.com ) about how gut health is linked to hormonal health as well as mental health! Please follow my social media to see what else Integrative OT is getting up to in the community :) I've enjoyed this time with you & can't wait to see what the future holds!
Have you ever heard of Spiritual Direction? If you have, have you ever wondered what it's all about? What is the difference in spirituality and religion? How is this different than biblical counseling? Randi is an amazing human being & I have had the pleasure of getting to know her better over the last 2 years or so. If you're interested in reaching out to her please email her at 4RandiLundgren@gmail.com and type "spiritual direction inquiry" into the subject line!

In Season 3, podcasts will come monthly instead of bi-monthly. I wanted to start this season off with a re-release. Here we hear from two of my favorite people and my two massage therapists as they give us an inside look into massage and its many benefits. I chose to re-release this episode in the winter in order to remind you all that self-care is so vital & necessary and even moreso in the winter when we are all battling the cold & less sunshine or access to the Earth's healing frequency. Everyone needs a loving pair of hands on our bodies!
Grief is so hard, all the time, but especially around the holidays. We recently lost our dog of 12.5 years, my therapy pup Rio, and one of my best friends recently lost her mom. So this re-release is honor of Ama and for all of you out there who are grieving your special person this holiday season. I send all my love through this time!
Hey guys! This episode was from really early on in season 1, but it's on the lymphatic system and it's role in our immune, gut & skin health so I wanted to put it back out into the Podcast Universe since this is the time of year everyone seems to be getting sick!

In this episode, I have a special guest: Camille DeSantis, LMT. Here we talk about a group we created: Heeling Cancer for all cancer survivors in the Birmingham, AL area. Give it a listen and reach out if you'd like to join, share with someone who might enjoy it, or pass along to a healthcare provider you think might like to be our guest hiker for the day!
