I received three E-mails yesterday from people quoting scripture. It's worth going over these three eternal truths on a day when there will be confusion and disappointment and perhaps false hope. No matter what happened in the election, let's make sure we're building out house on a rock and not on sand.
The president released a proclamation celebrating the Reformation in England and its role in the creation of our country. This is wonderful church history that we all should know. And there are some lessons in this history that we can take with us tonight. These lessons are true no matter the outcome of the election.
We need to be physically, emotionally and spiritually prepared for whatever the results are in this midterm election. It will be a mixed bag, and everyone will be trying to find the grand takes to explain what happened. In the chaos of that, we need to bask in the greatest truth of all.
In this special midterm preview episode of Politics by Faith, we examine the high-stakes races shaping America’s political future—not through the lens of party talking points, but through the enduring principles of Scripture and Christian conviction. Joined by Bill O'Reilly of the No Spin News, Pastor Allen Jackson of World Outreach Church, and Dr. Frank Turek of Cross Examined, we confront the hidden cost of believers sitting on the sidelines and address the critical moral issues driving voters to the polls. From key House and Senate battlegrounds to the spiritual duty of civic engagement, our panel explores how faith informs our stewardship of democracy and why silence is not an option—all while resting in God’s ultimate sovereignty over the outcome.

50% of Christians don't vote. First, we may not want all "Christians" to vote if they're "Christian" like James Talarico, but assuming we have God-fearing, Bible-believing Americans not voting, how can that be? Voting is a great way to love your neighbor and to do good for our country. Our Puritans knew it was. Let's go back to a sermon from the 1600's about "doing good" for your country.
I wasn't surprised that Democrats don't appreciate this particular value. I was surprised that Democrats actually value it the least of all. In light of that, today we analyze Matthew 11:14: "The kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force".
We act as if hitting "Rock Bottom" guarantees a turnaround. It's astounding how bad things can get before people change their ways, if ever! I'll share a few political examples here, from California, North Carolina, and Brazil, and then talk about what the Bible says about "rock bottom".
We have been given a gift in America: a look into the future. You either see the end of the road we’re on, or you’re choosing to ignore it. We don’t need any more evidence. We know where we’re headed. There’s a story in the Bible with a similar lesson.
A caller was mad at me because he said I’m not taking the Texas Senate race seriously. He thinks Talarico is going to win. So today, we’re talking about how to choose between two sinners. You’re always choosing between two sinners—but it doesn’t have to be a difficult process.
The scriptures claim that there is nothing new under the sun. How does that apply to our modern-day culture where everything feels so new? And how do new things and old things intersect? Mike Slater is joined by Allen Parr, Dinesh D’Souza and Ray Comfort for insightful conversation.

Why would Ilhan Omar (which is not her real name), knowing she was here illegally, not keep a lower profile? Why was she screaming at the President during the State of the Union address? She flew too close to the sun. We'll talk about Ovid's story of Icarus and the story of Uzziah in the Bible.
This new anti-Amy Acton ad, featuring her estranged mother, is causing us to balance political judgment and the pain of broken families. Let's turn to Romans 8 to learn about creation’s groaning, our adoption as God’s children, and the hope of redemption. Today’s suffering is not the end of the story.
Should Christians stay out of politics because they’re “not of this world”? I make the case that Jesus meant something very different in John 17—and that Christians shouldn’t sit out on Election Day.
It’s not ideal, at the end of a campaign for senate, to be talking about how you promise you have no ties to a terrorist organization. But are the questions
I know the principle "You get what you vote for" is true because it's in the Bible. And it's true for our own personal lives as well. The expression "reap the whirlwind" is in the Bible. We should learn from what's happening in France, so we don't reap the same.
In this interview with Mike Slater, Jonathan Cahn shares the wild first-hand story of his personal encounter with the infamous passenger duct-taped to a seat on a flight. He breaks down what really happened during the mid-air chaos and the deeper spiritual lessons behind the bizarre event. Plus, be sure to check out Jonathan Cahn's book, The Altar of Pergamon , available now. Then Mike Slater sits down with Pastor Joshua Lewis of Remnant Radio for an urgent conversation examining Texas lawmaker James Talarico through a biblical lens. Together, they analyze Jesus’s warnings about the misuse of scripture in modern politics and why believers must exercise sharp theological discernment today. (edited)
Mike Slater sits down with Auron MacIntyre to explore how modern Christians are increasingly conforming to secular culture. Together, they break down the subtle cultural pressures facing believers today and examine what it takes to maintain an uncompromised biblical worldview in a rapidly changing society.
California passed two anti-ICE laws. Now both of them have been struck down by the courts. We'll tell you about the latest failed attempt by Newsom to keep illegals in America.
