Four years ago at forest school, Krysta met a woman she describes as a "magical forest nymph”. Someone who hunts, tans hides in the old ways, and can build almost anything from birch bark. This week, Lena comes to share her wisdom on the show. It's a wandering, intimate conversation between two friends who found each other on the land: how ancestral skills get passed down and nearly lost, why birch is "the first tree" and the reason Lena believes she wouldn't be here without it, and how returning to hunting with her father repaired their relationship in ways nothing else could. They talk soil and glaciers, woodland caribou and inland rainforest, teaching kids to build fairy houses, and the quiet grief of watching common knowledge slip away, plus a fair amount of Sasquatch. Underneath the skills is the real thread: reconnection. To land, to lineage, to the parts of ourselves the modern world trained us out of. Follow Lena: https://www.instagram.com/boreal.folkways/ Before the interview, Krysta shares her own updates: ✦ The Field is open: Free, for everyone. I'm back... and not on schedule, because I'm done living by schedules. I came back when I got the call. This episode is the story of what I've been birthing in the portal: The Oracle , an app that reads your astrology, human design, and gene keys into one thing: A clear map of what you're here to create in this lifetime. I talk about how it came through during continuing hardship, the trip that took me back to a place I lived ten years ago, and the strange medicine of building something tender and human with AI. I also share the archetype that cracked me open this season - the Creative Rainbow Mother , from Sharon Blackie's If Women Rose Rooted - and why I'm pouring everything into supporting women right now: women who've walked through the fire and are trying to see clearly what they came here to make. In this episode: — Why I stopped doing seasons (and started following the pings) — The download that became The Oracle — Transmuting through the dark, and what gets born there — The Creative Rainbow Mother, and the women I built this for — AI as an unexpected ally The Oracle is meant to be a community project. If you step into it, I want your feedback. I took a little over a month off releasing episodes because my nervous system has needed rest. And honestly, I’m done pretending we’re meant to live like slaves to the algorithms. In this season finale, I share a personal update about burnout, integration, and why I’m shifting the format of the podcast moving forward (less pressure, more intention, more truth). I also share what’s changing inside Patreon, why I’m moving toward more solo episodes, and a seed that’s been forming in my field: a future program blending nervous system education + somatic art practices + nature communion + myth rewriting . Then we drop into a rich conversation with Neale Donald Walsch , the author of the Conversations with God series. We talk about: Why we forget God (and why that forgetting may be part of the point) “Wakefulness” and how divine messages arrive through everyday life Soul agreements vs. fate — and where free will fits in Neale's story of meeting his wife (and the unmistakable sign that sealed it) Why life is about serving the agenda of the soul , not chasing cultural milestones A coming shift in consciousness over the next 25–30 years And yes… what Oprah is actually like 😉 Links & resources: Neale Donald Walsch’s books 👁️ Experience The Oracle ---------------------------------------------------------------- Connect further: Krysta's IG Podcast IG UNFILTERED Patreon Review the podcast HERE to be entered into this month's draw!
In this profoundly validating and deeply personal episode, Krysta Francoeur sits down with Dr. Nadine Macaluso , a licensed marriage and family therapist and former wife of Jordan Belfort (the infamous Wolf of Wall Street), to unpack the insidious dynamics of narcissistic abuse and trauma bonding . Together, they explore: The psychological mechanics behind trauma bonds and why they’re so addictive How narcissistic abuse impacts the nervous system The difference between overt and covert narcissism (and why covert types are harder to spot) How narcissists “mind map” and mirror their victims to gain control Why emotional abuse and coercive control often go unpunished by legal systems The epidemic of “dark tetrad” personalities in leadership positions What Run Like Hell really means, and how to leave safely The role of personality traits like agreeableness and conscientiousness in getting entangled with pathological lovers The healing journey, post-traumatic growth, and reclaiming your self-worth 💥 PLUS: Krysta shares a real-time update on how her own documentation of narcissistic abuse was used in court to help another woman get protection, and how speaking up can change everything. 🔗 Resources Mentioned: Dr. Nadine Macaluso’s Website & Book https://heal.drnae.com/podcast-book-giveaway 👁️ Experience The Oracle ---------------------------------------------------------------- Connect further: Krysta's IG Podcast IG UNFILTERED Patreon Review the podcast HERE to be entered into this month's draw!
In this powerful conversation, Krysta sits down with Alana Joy Newton, former nurse turned psychotherapist and reconnection guide, to explore what it really means to come home to your body after years of disconnection. Together they dive into illness as initiation, dark nights of the soul, nervous system repair, and how trauma, sensitivity, and spirituality are woven through the human experience. Alana shares her journey from medical trauma and burnout to finding deep meaning through her diagnosis of Ehlers‑Danlos Syndrome. She offers wisdom on how chronic illness can become a spiritual teacher, why compassion is the foundation of true healing, and what it means to live in alignment with your authentic self. As a brand designer and artist, I’ve watched artificial intelligence transform creative industries; saving time, amplifying output, and blurring the line between authenticity and automation. This is a raw, stream-of-consciousness conversation about creative sovereignty, mental health, and learning to balance technology with nervous system regulation and real-life presence. I share how I use AI in my work (and even for healing), the ethical and emotional edges I’ve noticed, and how to stay grounded as we move deeper into the Age of Aquarius - a time when humanity, art, and algorithms are more intertwined than ever. Navigating covert abuse and the journey of trauma transformation In this solo episode, Krysta shares her personal experience of navigating a covertly abusive relationship, and the moment she chose to reclaim her truth. This episode isn’t about blame. It’s about awareness, healing, and the importance of speaking up—even when it’s uncomfortable. Krysta unpacks the subtle signs of covert narcissism, the empath–narcissist dynamic, and how trauma bonding can keep us stuck far too long. This episode was recorded during a very different chapter — one where love felt like medicine and Krysta thought her and her partner were both committed to healing together. You’ll hear Krysta and Keith explore what it means to face your triggers inside a relationship, navigate nervous system dysregulation, and show up for each other as best they knew how at the time. Krysta chose to release this podcast now, with love and transparency, even though the relationship has since taken an unexpected turn. Because no matter how things end, the healing that happened in love is still real. And maybe there’s something in this moment — raw and imperfect as it is — that speaks to your own journey too. Note from the Creator: This episode was recorded during a time when I believed I was in a safe, loving relationship. I now see that experience through a very different lens. While I no longer endorse this person or the dynamic we shared, I’m choosing to leave this episode live as part of my healing timeline. Let this be a reminder: we are all allowed to outgrow old stories — and reclaim our voice in the process. 👁️ Experience The Oracle ---------------------------------------------------------------- Connect further: Krysta's IG Podcast IG UNFILTERED Patreon Review the podcast HERE to be entered into this month's draw!
