If you’ve been feeling emotionally overwhelmed, stuck in your head, dysregulated, unable to let something go or like your body is still carrying an emotion your mind has already ‘processed’ - this guided meditation is for you. In this episode, I guide you through a body-based process for processing & transmuting emotions, helping you connect to where the emotion is living in your body and gently move it through. This is one of the processes I use with my clients to support emotional regulation, embodiment & nervous system safety - and so many clients have experienced real-time shifts through this work, feeling the energy in motion soften, change & release as they connect to what their body is holding. You are not the emotion & it is not your identity - the emotion is present somewhere in the body. When you learn how to locate it, feel it, breathe with it & move through it, it can begin to shift. This meditation is designed to support you in processing emotions through the body in a trauma-informed way, making it especially supportive if you experience emotional overwhelm, dysregulation, AuDHD, ADHD, OCD, PTSD or C-PTSD patterns. This is not about forcing yourself to ‘get over it’, bypassing what you feel or trying to think your way into calm. This is about learning how to be with what is present in your body, without becoming it. Stop carrying the emotion. Start moving it. The Health Hun Instagram Click here to book a free call with Orla This episode covers: guided meditation, emotional processing, emotional regulation, transmuting emotions, nervous system regulation, embodiment, somatic healing, interoception, trauma-informed meditation, emotional overwhelm, dysregulation, releasing emotions, feeling emotions, body-based healing.
If you've ever been told you're 'too emotional', struggled to process an emotion or let things go, overthought every situation or tried to act unbothered while your body says otherwise - this episode is for you. In this episode, we break down what emotional processing actually is - because replaying conversations, analysing every possibility, venting to everyone around you or trying to think your way out of an emotion isn't processing. It's often another form of avoidance. We explore why emotional regulation isn't about never getting triggered - it's about building the capacity to pause, regulate your nervous system & choose how you respond instead of reacting from survival. We also discuss why suppressing your emotions disconnects you from your body, intuition & even positive emotions, how trauma, people pleasing & gaslighting teach us to distrust ourselves, and why learning to accurately identify what's happening in your body is one of the most powerful skills you can develop. This episode will help you stop living in your head, reconnect with your body & finally move through your emotions instead of carrying them. Because when you learn to process your emotions: you trust yourself instead of questioning everything you respond instead of react you stop carrying unresolved emotional weight you create healthier boundaries & relationships you feel calmer, clearer & more emotionally resilient Feeling your emotions isn't weakness. Stop suppressing. Start expressing. Timestamps: 03:40 Why the 'unbothered' trend isn't emotional regulation 05:00 What emotional processing actually is 07:00 Overthinking is underfeeling - wontrolling it with your mind is not processing. 11:40 Emotionally overwhelmed vs Emotionally avoidant coping mechanisms 16:00 How your body wants to express Emotions to prevent burnout & nervous system dysregulation 20:00 Are you self-aware or are you avoiding your emotions by Intellectualizing them? 25:00 Masculine & Feminine energy in emotional regulation 29:00 My 4-step framework - Pause, Regulate, Express & Release 32:00 Hypervigilance, people pleasing & emotional reactivity 41:20 Identifying Emotions & building Interoception The Health Hun Instagram Click here to book a free call with Orla This episode covers: emotional processing, emotional regulation, emotional suppression, overthinking, nervous system regulation, embodiment, intuition, interoception, trauma healing, people pleasing, hypervigilance, self-trust, burnout, boundaries, vulnerability, emotional resilience, feminine energy.
If you regularly lose yourself in other people’s energy, overthink relationships, obsess, people please or feel disconnected from yourself - this is self-abandonment. In this episode, we break down how to fix that through self-devotion - becoming deeply connected to your own body, emotions, needs, standards & internal world instead of consumed by everyone else externally. Most women were conditioned to monitor others instead of themselves. So you learned to fawn, adapt, over-give, suppress your truth, disconnect from your body & abandon yourself to feel safe, loved or chosen. I share my own journey from disordered eating, body image struggles, anxious attachment & emotional shutdown into embodiment, pleasure, feminine energy & self-responsibility - and why true healing is not just understanding yourself intellectually, but becoming devoted to how you actually feel. We talk about limerence, controlling strategies, emotional suppression, trauma, resentment, nervous system dysregulation & why your past pain keeps infecting your future reality when it goes unprocessed. This episode will help you understand why being deeply devoted to yourself is not selfish or arrogant - it’s the thing that stops you losing yourself, betraying yourself & searching for yourself in other people. Because when you stop abandoning yourself: you stop obsessing over people who are not right for you you trust your body instead of controlling everything you stop needing validation to feel worthy you experience more pleasure, intimacy, joy & self-expression and you finally feel safe being fully yourself Being self-centred is not ego. It’s self-respect. If you say you’re ‘over’ your parents but still get triggered, shut down, over-explain or feel like a reactive child in seconds - this is the parent wound. In this episode, we break down how you’ve been wired to react from your inner child - where you had no power, no boundaries & had to manage emotions to stay safe - instead of leading from your adult self. You’re not ‘too reactive’ or ‘too sensitive’ - your body is still running patterns built in childhood, where you learned to tolerate, adapt, seek approval & hold onto hope that they would change. This shows up as feeling responsible for their emotions, reacting instantly then replaying it later, over-explaining to be understood, staying in dynamics longer than you need to & holding onto potential instead of responding to reality. This episode will help you understand the pattern, how your ego & inner child are blocking you from leading from your adult self, and what actually needs to shift so you can stop reacting from the past. Stop waiting for them to change & learn how to reset your relationship with your parents so you can take your power back. Timestamps: 04:00 Ego insecurity & how it blocks you 06:20 Inner child triggered reactivity 10:21 The heavy grief of breaking generational cycles 12:22 Clearing past emotions, pain & trauma you carry that keep you stuck 14:10 Resetting your perspective of your parents 16:45 Reparenting yourself & your core wounds 20:44 Modeling change in your relationship with your parents 23:07 Communication & setting boundaries to break the cycle 27:00 Taking back your power The Health Hun Instagram Click here to book a free call with Orla This episode covers: parent wound, emotional triggers, inner child, reparenting, boundaries with parents, generational patterns, emotional regulation, self-leadership, relationship dynamics, nervous system conditioning
If you feel constantly judged, disconnected from your body, stuck in control around food, or intimacy feels tense instead of natural - this is the Mother wound. In this episode, we break down how women become wired to monitor themselves - shaping their body, emotions & behaviour to avoid criticism, rejection or emotional withdrawal. You’re not ‘too controlling’ or ‘too sensitive’ - you were conditioned to feel safe through self-surveillance, people-pleasing & managing other people’s emotions. This shows up as perfectionism with your body, control around food, difficulty receiving love & a constant underlying tension in relationships - where you’re scanning, bracing & adjusting instead of actually feeling safe. This episode will help you understand the pattern, how it’s impacting your nervous system, body image, relationships & intimacy - and what actually needs to shift to stop micromanaging your life, your partner & your body, and start living from self-trust instead of control. Timestamps: 03:15 Criticism & projection - how this shaped your body image, relationship with food & control patterns 06:25 Emotions as manipulation - guilt, walking on eggshells & why you now read everything as a threat 13:10 How your mother shaped your relationship with men, intimacy & feminine energy 16:30 Creating a new adult relationship with your mother - grief, boundaries & breaking old dynamics 21:00 Why mothering & nagging your man kills attraction - control, libido, cortisol & letting him rise (or not) The Health Hun Instagram Click here to book a free call with Orla This episode covers: mother wound, body image, relationship with food, control patterns, people pleasing, emotional regulation, intimacy issues, feminine energy, relationship dynamics, nervous system conditioning
If your success still feels flat, you can’t switch off, you have low libido & your relationships never quite feel secure - this is the ~Father wound. In this episode, we break down how high-achieving women become wired to perform for love - tying their worth to achievement, struggling to rest & ending up in relationships where they feel like they have to prove themselves. You’re not just driven for success, you were conditioned to feel safe through control, performing & achieving - blocking your feminine energy & keeping you stuck in cycles of burnout. This episode will help you understand the pattern, how it’s impacting your nervous system, relationships & self-worth - and what actually needs to shift to break the burnout cycle & rebuild your identity from real self-worth. Timestamps: 05:22 Breathing exercise 08:16 How the masculine shapes your low self-worth 17:20 How he impacted your emotional foundation & relationships 26:00 You were trained to abandon yourself 32:00 Your value is not conditional - break the burn out cycle 35:00 How to take your life back & heal The Health Hun Instagram Click here to book a free call with Orla This episode covers: father wound, daddy issues, high-achieving women, burnout, overworking, nervous system regulation, self-worth, relationship patterns & emotional regulation.

Do you suppress parts of yourself in order to be seen as the perfect, easy going good girl that doesn't need too much, so that she can be liked, loved & accepted? In this episode I walk you through how your life experience, beliefs, trauma & conditioning can cause you to view Dark Feminine energy as shameful - maybe even sinful. There is so much power in the Dark Feminine and you cannot truly be 'in your feminine energy' if you suppress your sensuality, shrink your expression, silence your voice & stay stuck in your emotions. Embracing this energy allows you to step into your power, with boundaries, intuition & tapped into pleasure. The Health Hun Instagram Work with Orla The Health Hun Website

Ever wondered what it's like to uproot your life from Bali to Australia and then end up in Dubai? This episode promises an honest recount of how geographical and spiritual shifts have sculpted my identity and purpose, offering you insights into embracing change and chasing dreams, no matter where they lead.
