This week I'm talking to Terry Scalia about her experience of alien abduction. Bio Terry Scalia has been interested in metaphysics for over forty years. While she had little focus on UFOs or extraterrestrial experiences early on, a significant encounter in 1986 became a turning point that influenced her spiritual understanding and personal development. This week I'm reading from Philip Mantle's book 'UFO reflections' Philip Mantle is one of the UK’s best known UFO researchers. He entered into UFO research and investigation in 1980 when he joined the Yorkshire UFO Society (YUFOS) which had its HQ in the city of Leeds, West Yorkshire, just a few miles from where he lived. In later years he would go on to join the British UFO Research Association (BUFORA) and the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON). In 2015 he founded Flying Disk Press, a one man book publishing endeavour which has now published over 30 books. During his time as an active UFO researcher and investigator Mantle has been involved with a wide variety of UFO cases including UFOs caught on camera, alien abductions, a wide variety of UFO sightings, hoaxes and assisting in the analysis of debris from an alleged UFO crash. Most of his investigations have of course been in the UK but he has also been involved in UFO cases from Hungary, Australia, Russia, China and Cyprus. He is probably best known for his long running investigation into the Alien Autopsy Film hoax and the Pascagoula, Mississippi, alien abduction. In this episode Don Donderi is talking about his book 'Truth, Lies and ETs: How We Stumbled into the Universe'. Earth is in the middle of a revolution. This episode I am reading from Richard Dolan's book 'A History of USOs, Unidentified Submerged Objects: Volume 2: From 1970 to 1989' Unidentified Submerged Objects have long existed on the margins of UAP/UFO research, mentioned in passing, rarely examined in depth, and often set aside in favor of aerial encounters. Yet the historical record tells a different story. Reports of anomalous craft operating within Earth’s oceans, lakes, and rivers are widespread, persistent, and in many cases difficult to dismiss. In this second volume of A History of USOs, historian Richard Dolan presents a detailed investigation of global cases from 1970 to 1989, a period marked by a noticeable rise in both the frequency and intensity of encounters. Drawing from military reports, civilian testimony, and archival research, the book assembles a body of evidence that spans continents and political systems, including repeated interactions involving both U.S. and Soviet naval forces. The events themselves are often striking in their specifics. Large objects moving beneath the surface without detectable propulsion. Craft emerging from the water and ascending into the air with controlled acceleration.
