This is two blogs in one. Just before the New Year as we’ve enjoyed the Christmas delights of Live Nativity and illuminations then into the New Year and visiting not just the ski slope at Passo Lanciano but also getting up very close to the wolves at the sanctuary in Pretoro.
A year has gone by since we arrived in our fifth wheel caravan LouLou Bella 2 onto our very own Olive Grove here in San Martino in Pensilis in Molise, Italy. On the anniversary of our arrival we completed our first harvest picking over 2 tonnes of olives along with the help of our great friends Karen and Rob Norfolk. We also look back on our first here in Molise Yes Molise does exist!!!
After a week of rain we are waiting for it to stop so we can harvest our Olives here in Molise,Italy. They are big fat and ready as we anxiously watch and wait. Meantime we visit a Trabucco for the first time and visit the Catabbo Cantine which is near us here in San Martino in Pensilis. Living life in our little Olive Grove after moving to Molise from the UK last October.
Our first visitors arrived in time to help celebrate my 60 th Birthday and they’ll be staying for 5 weeks so here’s a few things we ve done so far …..
After 11 months living our new life in Molise, Italy I made a flying visit to the UK to hug our family of 5 and meeting our 7 week old Granddaughter for the first time.
