With nearly 45 years of leadership experience in hospitality, facilities, and venue management, Traycee Mayer has devoted her career to developing leaders and lifting others toward their full potential. As a certified executive coach, she combines coaching and facilitation with another lifelong passion: travel photography. Over the past 17 years, she has transformed photographs from her journeys into meaningful tools that inspire reflection, conversation, and personal growth. Rather than providing every detail about where each image was captured, Traycee invites people to connect with the deeper message behind it. One powerful photograph features a steep historic stairway inside Diamond Head crater on the Hawaiian island of Oahu. Reached near the end of a demanding hike, the stairs are so steep that climbers may feel as though they are pulling themselves upward with their hands. For Traycee, this challenging ascent carries an empowering message: “You are ready to take it on and succeed with enthusiasm. You’ve got this.” Although an easier route now winds around the crater, the original stairway remains a fitting symbol of courage, determination, and the willingness to embrace the difficult path. I write stories of friendship, of finding beauty in the grotesque, of finding magic in the mundane; stories about building bridges, about burning bridges, about growing trees, about turning trees into bridges, and the ways strangers find common ground. My Young Adult series and New Adult novel were released by Epic Press in Fall 2016. My short stories have been published in 3 Elements Review, Wild Musette, Kingdoms in the Wild, Lamplit Underground, and I Must Be Off. I was shortlisted in Glimmer Train's "Family Matters" writing contest in 2015. I am a graduate of the Master of Fine Arts program in Creative Writing at the University of San Francisco and live in Los Angeles with my gorgeous wife, fun-loving daughter, anxious dog, and indifferent cat. By the time you read this, I will probably have another cat. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Colleen & Dana Colleen's background and practice as a practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine has allowed her time to focus on pattern recognition, individuality, and the interconnectedness of body, mind, and spirit. Her work with “energy medicine” techniques and the creation of both the New Agreement Process (NAP™), and YIM: Your Integral Medicine has given her insight into how much capacity people have, how complex they are, and how much goodness they have. Colleen's work with Dana and his all-embracing compass and personal guidance system of The Black Belt Mind™ has allowed her to recognize each person’s innate sense of knowingness and capacity to truly walk the path of being a better person every day, every choice, every moment. Dana’s background is as a problem-solver and pattern-finder. His martial arts training began before he entered school, and has never stopped since. His work with athletes transferred quickly to working with executives who needed to bring out the best in themselves, and from there to helping companies deal with change management, communication issues, and personal empowerment. Dana’s work stays relevant not only with corporations but also with couples, families, and anyone looking to create the best version of themselves. He has an almost uncanny ability to sift through the often overwhelming aspects of the issues that people are facing, and pinpoint the most critical areas to work with for rapid change. Together, Colleen and Dana bring complementary skill sets to classes, group work, and presentations. Their years of working side by side allow them to focus on the things that are important to them with clients: safety, communication, ease, and progress. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company.
