90 LOSSES! Angels Fall 5-2 in Boston | The Bats Are DEAD & Stop Sugarcoating This Team! YouTube Description LOSS NUMBER 90. The Angels have officially reached another ugly milestone. On this edition of the ToddFox Postgame Show, ToddFox breaks down the Angels' 5-2 loss to the Red Sox in Boston, as the same problem that has plagued this team all season continues to rear its ugly head: THE ANGELS CAN'T HIT. Once again, the pitching gives the Halos a chance, but it doesn't matter when the offense can't consistently put runs on the board. The season is winding down, the losses continue piling up, and the Angels have now suffered their 90th defeat of the season. At some point, there are no more excuses. ToddFox also discusses something that has become increasingly frustrating to listen to—the way the Angels television broadcasts and team coverage can sometimes frame this season in a much more positive light than the results warrant. ToddFox isn't interested in polishing up a 90-loss season. There may be individual bright spots and young players worth watching, but the standings and the results tell the bigger story. You can call it development. You can talk about encouraging performances. You can point toward the future. But when you've lost 90 baseball games, fans have every right to demand better. And with Stan Kroenke's ownership era on the horizon, the bigger conversation becomes what needs to change throughout this organization. The Angels need more than cosmetic changes—they need a winning culture, better roster construction, player development and an organization capable of consistently competing. RED SOX 5 — ANGELS 2. 90 LOSSES. ToddFox isn't sugarcoating it. Sound off in the comments: Are you tired of hearing the positives emphasized while the Angels continue piling up losses? And what should be the FIRST thing changed under the new ownership? Subscribe to the ToddFox Postgame Show, Halos in the Infield and HITI Network for Angels coverage through the final games of the season and into what could be one of the biggest offseasons in franchise history. Another frustrating night at Angel Stadium as the Angels fall to the New York Yankees 6-3 in 10 innings, despite a terrific performance from Reid Detmers. Detmers did everything the Angels could have asked for, holding New York to one run through seven innings, but once again the offense gave its starting pitcher almost nothing to work with. The Angels managed only four hits in the game, tied it late, and forced extra innings before the Yankees exploded for five runs in the 10th. The Angels answered with two, but by then the damage was done. And adding to the atmosphere: it certainly felt like Yankee Stadium West at times with all the Yankees support in the building. ToddFox talks about what it's like watching the Angels play at home with such a strong visiting-fan presence. But the game is only PART of tonight's show because the biggest Angels story continues to be Stan Kroenke's agreement to purchase controlling ownership of the franchise from Arte Moreno. The transaction is expected to become official in the first quarter of 2027, pending MLB approval. And now everybody wants to know: WHAT HAPPENS TO ANGEL STADIUM? There has already been plenty of speculation about a potential new ballpark, but there's an important distinction between rumors and confirmed plans. Anaheim owns Angel Stadium and the surrounding land, and the current Angels lease runs through 2032, with extension options potentially taking it through 2038. MLB reports that it remains unclear whether Kroenke would ultimately pursue a brand-new stadium or a major renovation accompanied by a larger sports-and-entertainment development. A report claiming Kroenke planned a $2.5 billion replacement stadium was subsequently taken down, and Anaheim officials said no such proposal had been presented to them. So ToddFox breaks down what we actually know, what remains speculation, and why Kroenke's track record developing SoFi Stadium and Hollywood Park makes the future of the Big A property one of the biggest stories to follow. Angels lose 6-3. Detmers deserved better. But with new ownership on the horizon, the future of Angels baseball suddenly feels a whole lot more interesting. Sound off in the comments: Would you rather Kroenke completely renovate the Big A or build a brand-new stadium in Anaheim? Subscribe to the ToddFox Postgame Show and HITI Network as we continue following the Kroenke ownership transition, stadium developments and everything happening with your Halos. Forget the final score for a minute — THIS IS THE NEWS ANGELS FANS HAVE BEEN WAITING YEARS TO HEAR! On a massive edition of the ToddFox Postgame Show on the HITI Network, we break down the Angels' loss to the New York Yankees, but the game has been completely overshadowed by franchise-changing news: ARTE MORENO HAS AGREED TO SELL CONTROL OF THE LOS ANGELES ANGELS TO STAN KROENKE AND KROENKE SPORTS & ENTERTAINMENT! After 23 years of Arte Moreno ownership, the Angels are preparing to enter an entirely new era. The transaction is expected to officially close in the first quarter of 2027, subject to MLB approval and customary closing conditions. Moreno is expected to retain an undisclosed minority stake. And Kroenke isn't just another billionaire buying a baseball team. His sports empire includes the Los Angeles Rams, Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche, Colorado Rapids and Arsenal, with championships across several of those organizations. For an Angels fan base that has spent years chanting SELL THE TEAM, this is potentially one of the biggest turning points in franchise history. THE TEAM IS BEING SOLD. STAN KROENKE IS COMING TO ANAHEIM. A NEW ERA OF ANGELS BASEBALL IS ABOUT TO BEGIN. ToddFox reacts to the Yankees game, but we're going DEEP on the sale: What could Kroenke ownership mean for the roster? Will the Angels finally invest in player development and organizational infrastructure? What happens with Angel Stadium? What changes could be coming to the front office? And most importantly—can Kroenke finally turn the Angels back into a championship organization? After years of frustration, losing seasons and watching some of baseball's greatest talent come through Anaheim without postseason success, Angels fans finally have something completely different: CHANGE. Tonight isn't just another postgame show. It's potentially the beginning of an entirely new chapter of Angels baseball. TARPS OFF! THE TEAM IS SOLD! SWEPT AT HOME. At this point, ToddFox asks the question every Angels fan has to be thinking: What exactly is the plan? This episode breaks down the continued lack of hitting, another wasted pitching performance, the bullpen's struggles, Suzuki's decisions and an Angels team that simply can't figure out how to stop the bleeding. With the season winding down, these games should be about developing players, establishing an identity and figuring out who belongs in the future. Instead, the Angels continue finding new ways to lose. How much blame belongs on Kurt Suzuki? How much falls on the roster? And after seven consecutive losses, where does this team go from here? We recap the Angels’ series in Texas , looking at what went right, what went wrong and what this team is showing us as the season winds down. The crew gives their different perspectives on the situation, the reaction from Angels fans and what it says about the organization moving forward. Different night, same frustrating story for Reid Detmers. The Angels once again couldn't score enough runs for Detmers, wasting another strong pitching performance as they fall 2-1 in extra innings to the Texas Rangers. Detmers did his job and gave the Angels every opportunity to win, but the offense simply couldn't deliver enough support. With the game pushed into extras, it eventually ended in brutal fashion when Guzman's error allowed the Rangers to walk it off. RANGERS 2 — ANGELS 1 (EXTRAS) On the ToddFox Postgame Show, Todd breaks down another night of wasted pitching, an Angels lineup that continues to struggle producing runs, the costly defensive mistake in extras and another heartbreaking loss. How many great pitching performances can this offense waste? Detmers deserved better. The pitching deserved better. But when you score ONE RUN, you're leaving absolutely no room for mistakes—and one mistake was all Texas needed. Kid Klassen came ready to deal in Houston! The Angels pick up a 3-1 victory over the Houston Astros, and while the bats once again struggled to generate much offense, Kid Klassen and the pitching staff made sure three runs were enough! On the latest ToddFox Postgame Show, Todd breaks down another impressive performance from Klassen as the young right-hander continues to show why Angels fans should be excited about his future. The offense certainly didn't make things easy. The Halos had opportunities to do more damage, but the bats remained inconsistent and left the pitching staff with almost no room for error. This time, though, the Angels found just enough offense and Klassen took care of the rest! ANGELS 3 — ASTROS 1 Kid Klassen delivers in Houston Angels pitching shuts down the Astros The bats continue to struggle Three runs prove to be enough ANGELS WIN! ToddFox sits down for a special conversation with two-time World Series champion Luis Polonia for an inside look at a lifetime in baseball and the art of becoming a professional hitter. Polonia reflects on his journey from the Dominican Republic to the Major Leagues, breaking into professional baseball during an era when Dominican players were continuing to open doors and establish themselves across MLB. He shares stories from his playing career, what it took to succeed at the highest level, and the approach at the plate that helped make hitting such an important part of his game. The conversation also dives into Polonia's incredible baseball legacy back home. As the Dominican winter league's all-time hits leader , Polonia's impact on Dominican baseball extends far beyond his own playing career. Today, he's helping the next generation chase the same dream. Polonia discusses his work teaching and developing young Dominican players, passing along the fundamentals, discipline, hitting knowledge, and baseball IQ needed to give talented kids an opportunity to one day reach professional baseball and potentially the Major Leagues. ToddFox and Luis also talk about the growth of Dominican baseball, the challenges young players faced during Polonia's era in the late 1980s, how the game and development process have changed, and what separates a good hitter from a great one. It's baseball history, hitting philosophy, incredible stories and a look at how one generation of Dominican players helped create opportunities for the generations that followed. #LuisPolonia #ToddFox #HalosInTheInfield #HITINetwork #AngelsBaseball #CaliforniaAngels #Angels #GoHalos #DominicanBaseball #DominicanRepublic #LIDOM #WorldSeriesChampion #MLB #MajorLeagueBaseball #Baseball #BaseballHistory #BaseballPodcast #Hitting #HittingCoach #BaseballTraining #YouthBaseball #BaseballDevelopment #BaseballLife #AngelsHistory #HaloNation Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. The Angels' bats may have been ice cold, but it didn't matter because Reid Detmers absolutely dominated as the Halos pulled out a 1-0 victory over the Kansas City Royals at Angel Stadium! This was an old-school pitchers' duel from beginning to end. The Angels offense managed just enough to give him a lead, and this time the pitching staff made that ONE RUN stand up . On the ToddFox Postgame Show , Todd breaks down Detmers' dominant outing, another rough night for the Angels bats, the difference pitching made in this game, and how the Halos managed to grind out a win despite almost no offensive production. The Angels made it interesting, but the comeback falls JUST SHORT at the Big A! Unfortunately, Trout struck out to end it, and the Royals escaped Anaheim with the 7-6 victory. After his huge throw from the outfield to nail a runner at home and help preserve an Angels victory, the question has to be asked: Could Siri be more than a short-term piece? We break down what Siri brings to the lineup, his defense and baserunning, what he still needs to improve offensively, and whether the Angels should look at keeping him in Anaheim long term. he Angels make it TWO WINS IN A ROW as they take down the Texas Rangers 5-2 at Angel Stadium! It wasn't about crushing home runs tonight. The Halos went back to basics and played some SMALL BALL—putting the ball in play, moving runners, taking advantage of opportunities and finally coming through with timely hitting. But one of the biggest stories belongs to Kid Claussen, who picks up his FIRST MAJOR LEAGUE WIN! Claussen gave the Angels exactly what they needed on the mound, and the pitching staff did its job to protect the lead and finish off Texas. On the ToddFox Postgame Show, we're breaking down the 5-2 victory, the Angels finally finding ways to manufacture runs, Claussen's milestone night and whether we're starting to see this team play a smarter brand of baseball. The Angels pitching staff did everything it could to keep this game alive, but once again, the offense couldn't deliver. The Halos fall 4-1 to the Texas Rangers in 10 innings at Angel Stadium, wasting another strong night of pitching. The game stayed tight deep into the night, but when the Angels needed somebody to come through with a big hit, the bats were nowhere to be found. Good pitching can only carry you for so long. Eventually Texas broke through in extra innings, putting up the runs that decided the game while the Angels' offense continued its brutal stretch. On the ToddFox Postgame Show, we're talking about another wasted opportunity, an offense that simply isn't producing enough runs, and the growing frustration of watching the pitching staff keep games competitive only for the lineup to give them almost no margin for error.
