Plant and permits are already in place, drilling is ongoing, and a pre-IPO financing round is happening now. The plan is to list the company in September, and move towards gold production within about a year's time. How big is the project? Well, there's already a million ounces known about, but previous drilling ended in ore. The project is likely to get bigger, and an expansion of the plant capacity is on the cards. Watch on YouTube Rift Helium #RIFT continues to make progress on its Rukwa project in Tanzania, where an environmental impact assessment is ongoing and likely to be completed soon. Once the official certificate is in, Rift will then commence a seismic survey, and the thinking is that that will be in the current quarter. Cornish Tin & Lithium is now contemplating a fourth phase of drilling at its Tregonning South project in Cornwall, following a successful third phase that established the presence of significant tin and lithium across a broad area. The fourth phase of drilling, when it comes, will be used to provide data to generate an inferred resource, and that in turn will underpin a pre-feasibility study. The DFC, the investment arm of the US government, has committed just under US$5 million to the development of the Ampasindava ionic clay rare earths project in Madagascar, owned by Harena Rare Earths. The DFC conducted significant due diligence over many months, and the likelihood is that the bank will follow up this initial financing with a more sizeable package when it comes to putting Ampasindava into production. First concentrate is expected within 24 months, according to Harena's executive chairman Ivan Murphy. He joins Vox to tell us more.

Watch on YouTube Winshear Metals has released the results of an electromagnetic survey conducted on its Portsoy nickel-copper-cobalt project in Scotland. The survey revealed a large conductor beneath the surface at Portsoy, which Winshear now plans to investigate further. Previous drilling, for which assays are pending, indicated the presence of massive sulphide and disseminated sulphides at Portsoy, so the prospectivity is very high. The company plans more drilling in due course, as it moves towards the delineation of a mineral resource estimate. Chief executive Richard Williams joins Vox to tell us more.

Great Western Mining Corp PLC : More tungsten assay results from Defender-Pine Crow Great Western Mining has released the results of a machine-cut channel sampling programme undertaken at its Defender-Pine Crow tungsten project in Nevada. The company cut four channels, and each showed tungsten mineralisation comparable to other projects in the area, notably that of Guardian Metals at Pilot Mountain. More channel samples will now likely be taken as the company moves towards a drilling campaign set to get underway in the next few weeks. Meanwhile, behind the scenes, metallurgical work is also ongoing.
