Well Susan is in Florida but she's in the central time zone and we thought she was in the eastern one so she missed the episode. So Paul and Bob take it on their own as they have done before and take you through the 4-show trio swing they just returned from on the east coast. Susan does pop in at the end to say goodbye. Okay everyone enjoy!
Hello everybody we are in Arlington Texas to perform at the Arlington Music Theater tonight on a very short road trip. Hope everyone is settling in to a nice autumn. Here's a short visit from our hotel room.

Hello everyone we are settling in out here on the summer Happy Together Tour....6 down with 60 to go! Hope you enjoy our visit. We had an interesting question at info@cowsill.com (where you can write to the program) regarding our performance of the National Anthem at game 3 of the 2004 ACLS between the Red Sox and Yankees at Fenway Park in Boston. Most of the time we are asked what it was like to perform the anthem in such a setting, etc., but this person simply was asking how did we get there? How did we find ourselves standing at home plate in 2004 at Fenway Park.
Well everyone we've had some long episodes and some short ones so here's a short one kind of setting up the summer and what to expect and what's happened so far and all that good stuff. We sat for the beginning and after 15 minutes it felt like we'd been talking an hour so we had to do a second segment. Too funny. We're on our first week of the tour and it goes until September 7th so whoa there!!! Enjoy the episode and there's more to come from the summer Happy Together tour!
Well we finally coordinated our schedules and time zones and lives to have a visit with Jason Scheff, he of the famed band Chicago for 20 years and future participant in this summer's Happy Together tour. You'll have to listen to hear about Jason's connection with not only The Cowsills, but Ron Dante, the Association and Gary Puckett. What a story!!
Well everyone it's a crazy busy week and we're all getting ready for the summer tour. Speaking of which this will be our first summer out without our leader, Mark Volman, since he passed away. In honor of his legacy and wonderfulness we wanted to highlight our visit with Mark and revisit his playfulness and incredible history. So please enjoy if not for the first time once again our incredible visit with this great man. We miss him a lot. -- This week's guest is a longtime good friend of the Cowsills. Mark Volman, or Bossy as The Cowsills call him, is an American guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter, best known as a founding member of the Turtles. Mark shares his side of the story of getting into the music industry and forming The Turtles with Howard Kaylan. He gives his inside scoop into the minds behind your favorite hits, the story of how Chip Taylor was in his band, and how The Cowsills lobbied to get onto The Happy Together Tour. Plus, tune in to hear Bob, Paul, and Susan get to the bottom of whether or not Volman had insured his hair for $100,000.
Well we tried to schedule Jason Scheff who's coming out with us this summer on the Happy Together Tour but that will have to wait until next week but don't miss that one. In the meantime we visit each other and get a nice report from Susan from Jazzfest in New Orleans. Enjoy!!
We got such fantastic feedback regarding the 1991 live set from Club Lingerie that we decided to share the China Club set of "Global" songs from the same time - 1991. Both sets include a song "She Wants Everything" which we never recorded but were treating it seriously with this live performance with John on lead vocal (Bob sang it a Club Lingerie)....clearly we had plans that never were brought to fruition with "She Wants Everything". Enjoy!!
