Nocturnis is a five-piece black metal band from the Black Forest region of southern Germany, known for combining atmospheric intensity with historically informed concept albums. Formed in 2019, the band first gained underground attention with their debut EP “Aporia” (2020) and their acclaimed first full-length “Unsegen” (2022), which earned favorable reviews across the metal press. Live, Nocturnis have built their reputation through supporting slots for established acts including Suffocation, Thron, Kanonenfieber, Grima, and Agathodaimon. Their second album, “Drangsal” (2026), is a cohesive concept album that unites music, lyrics, and visual design into a single artistic statement, blending historical subject matter, black metal, and a clear aesthetic vision. It was produced by guitarist Vincent Padrutt, with mixing and mastering by Nikita Kamprad. ÆoniK is a melodic black/death metal band from Luxembourg City, Luxembourg, formed in 2024. Despite being a young act, the band wasted no time making an impact on the European metal scene, winning the Wacken Metal Battle Luxembourg 2024 and earning a coveted spot at the legendary Wacken Open Air Festival that same year. Musically, ÆoniK forges a sound where the ferocity of death metal collides with the atmospheric darkness of black metal — intense, dynamic, and immediately distinct. Their compositions balance raw aggression with sweeping, melodic soundscapes that feel both uncompromising and cinematic. The band is built from seasoned musicians with deep roots in the Luxembourg metal underground.
