Guest host Bianca Bova interviews Jasons Zinoman, critic-at-large for the Culture section of The New York Times. Bianca Bova is a Chicago-based curator and art critic. Her work has appeared in the Chicago Reader, Whitehot Magazine, Outside Berlin, LateNighter, and the New York Times, among others. She is a member of the United States section of the Association Internationale des Critiques d'Art, and a 2025 recipient of the Dorothea and Leo Rabkin Foundation Travel Grant for Visual Arts Journalism. Jason Zinoman is a critic at large for The New York Times where he has written the On Comedy column since 2011. He has authored Shock Value: How a Few Eccentric Outsiders Gave Us Nightmares, Conquered Hollywood and Invented Modern Horror, the Kindle Single Searching for Dave Chappelle and the NYT bestseller, Letterman: The Last Giant of Late Night. He was a theater critic for many years and still occasionally reviews plays. He has written for magazines and newspapers since the first Internet boom. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife and two daughters.

Guest host Kofi Fosu Forson talks with Jenna Basso Pietrobon, a multidisciplinary artist skilled in a variety of mediums including, painting, sculpture, architecture, design, performance and activism. Pietrobon shares with the Whitehot Art World audience her revolutionizing of the mystery of fate, art and destiny. How a trip back to her grandparents home of Nove di Bassano in Italy changed the course of her art platform. Currently based in Paris, she touches on her experience in New York working in a patriarchal system. How trauma from that broadened her activism for women silenced, and oppressed in hope of gender equality. Central in her art experience is how she manages recovery from trauma in an activist and art-making role, building on a form of inclusivity with the involvement of artisans in her art-making process.

Renee LoBue is a singer and songwriter for the New Jersey based rock and roll band, Elk City and also Flowers of America. They record out of Magic Door Studios. She and drummer and producer, Ray Ketchem, started a record label, Magic Door. They've been releasing albums by notable and highly energized bands. LoBue is a multi-disciplined artist who works from collage art, mixed media, installations, digital self-portraits and performance art. Her optimal platform is bringing awareness to complex female narratives through her form of resistance in her art work across different mediums using groundbreaking themes in female gender empowerment, social commentary and the human experience.

Guest host Kofi Fosu Forson with the innovative, genius-minded energy of the septuagenarian artist and performance artist, George Lund, began in the town of Huyton, Liverpool. In a household of ten children, what he grew accustomed to was living with chickens. 70's culture drew him to dance and performance, origins of his alter ego, Funkadelic Chicken. As a founding member of the defunct cultural initiative, Transvoyeur, he has exhibited internationally. He now spends time volunteering, bringing a worldwide audience to the Liverpool Anglican Cathedral where he conducts drawing exercises.

Lita Barrie, LA advising editor at Whitehot Magazine, is the guest host for a discussion with legendary land artist, Lita Albuquerque and landscape painter, Astrid Preston about nature inspired art. Alburquerque is the recipient of MOCA’s Distinguished Woman in the Arts Award, NEA & other awards ; she has exhibited in museums and galleries worldwide. Preston has exhibited in many solo and group gallery and museum exhibitions throughout Southern California. These long time friends both came out of the 70s LA feminist art movement.

Guest host, Lita Barrie, a contributing writer for Whitehot Magazine, is joined by actor/writer Laurence Fuller at legendary Enrique Martinez Celaya’s studio in L.A. for a discussion on art and poetry. Celaya is an artist/physicist/writer who is a Provost Professor in the art, physics and literature graduate departments at University of Southern California He currently has a major exhibition at Museo National de Blies Artes in his Cuban homeland and numerous upcoming exhibitions at museums in New York and Los Angeles along with solo gallery exhibitions in Venice, Paris, Brussels and L.A. Celaya will be talking at the Metropolitan Museum on April 21st.
