Driven by a deep passion for Reggae and Roots music, he spent yearsrefining his skills, touring Germany with his dub band, Dubfidelity, and performing alongside renowned acts such as Zion Train, Dubmatix, Symbiz Sound, and Radikal Dub Kollektive. In 2010, Daktari’s life took a significant turn when he relocated to Australia. Immersed in the dynamic underground music and artistic community at Killing Time, an iconic Melbourne bar, he evolved his sound by seamlessly blending his reggae and dub roots with innovative electronic music production. This fusion has become part of his artistic identity, establishing him as a distinctive force in the contemporary music scene. Today, Daktari captivates audiences around the globe, performing in settings ranging from intimate clubs to large festivals. His latest release on Mole Audio showcases this evolution, featuring a notable collaboration with the legendary Horace Andy, along with remixes by Rhauder, Zion Train, and the dynamic duo Art:ab (Andy Martin & Didier Dlb). Biography: Tsubasa Arakawa, also known as Red Wing, is a Japanese electronic music producer, DJ, and live performer based in Tokyo. Beginning his musical journey with classical piano, he gradually developed a passion for electronic music and discovered dub techno in 2012. His sound combines hypnotic rhythms, atmospheric textures, and hardware-based experimentation, drawing inspiration from Basic Channel and Ryuichi Sakamoto. In 2016, he made his debut on the Russian label Liberty Rhythm. That same year, he co-founded Tokyo Dub Techno Syndicate, contributing to the development of Japan's underground electronic music scene. In 2020, Tsubasa Arakawa founded EMLF (Electronic Music Liberation Front), an independent Japanese record label dedicated to dub techno, ambient, minimal techno, and experimental electronic music. His collaboration with [PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB] began with the release of Artworker EP in May 2025, featuring original compositions and remixes by international artists, including Oldschool_Dubtechno .Producer. This musical dialogue continued with their collaborative track "草薙剣" (Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi), which appeared on Oldschool_Dubtechno .Producer — Dreams of Orion. Part I. Orion's Sword, released on April 3, 2026. In his own words: "Back in early 2005, following a series of life events, I shifted from punk and hardcore to electronic music. I picked up a standard setup—two Technics turntables, a basic mixer, and some studio monitors—along with my first twenty records. My IKEA plastic crates were mostly filled with tech-house, ranging from underground to more mainstream-leaning tracks. However, after spending time in Berlin between 2010 and 2013, my collection began to lean heavily toward minimal, deep, and dub techno. As of now, I’m the happy owner of about 2,500 records. His musical path has been shaped by years of listening, traveling, collecting and researching music, with his research centered around dub techno, minimal dub, deep dub and ambient. Trained as an architect, his relationship with art, space and design has also influenced the way he approaches music: through observation, research and careful selection. Over time, this exploration has become an increasingly meticulous process, connecting artists, labels and different branches of dub from around the world. This path eventually led to the creation of Autóctona, a Hi-Fi listening bar he co-created in Guadalajara, where he is responsible for musical curation and bookings. Autóctona became a physical extension of that research: a space dedicated to listening, sound and the exchange between local and international music. (@dennykay) Superstition is about the things we pretend not to believe in while secretly obeying them. Signs, rituals, compulsions, invisible rules. The irrational machinery operating beneath the surface of everyday life. No safe mysticism. No enlightenment. No “Exit” sign. Just three increasingly distorted states of the same thing. Believe it. Repeat it. Become it. Three tracks. One system: :::Superstition starts the mechanism. :::Obsession keeps it running. :::Zoobyrinth is where it eventually leads. But Zoobyrinth is not a labyrinth. There is no Minotaur waiting at its centre, and there will be no heroic escape. It is a system of passages built for creatures that have forgotten they are inside it. Instinct replaces logic. Repetition replaces choice. The walls do not need to move — behaviour does all the work for them. Once activated, the system no longer belongs to its creator. The six remixes do not explain how it works — they gain access and change everything from within: :::SUBSET (@subsetdubs) merges Superstition with Obsession until superstition and compulsion become indistinguishable. :::Matthias Springer (@mfsoundnet) shifts the mechanism’s inner geometry: the familiar elements remain in place but no longer assemble into the same reality. :::Oldschool_Dubtechno .Producer (@enercube & @x_fr) sends Zoobyrinth into a mirror dimension, where the reflection is the first to refuse to repeat the original. :::Brickman (@brickman) opens the casing and presents the Hardware Version — a rigid construction of impulses, contacts and mechanical certainty. :::Mia Riddles (@mia_riddles) turns Obsession into a riddle with no correct answer. :::Noise Robots (@user-317984584) populate Zoobyrinth with interference, synthetic instincts and creatures that have learned to imitate an exit. Nine works form nine circles, but no one knows which came first. Each remix changes the direction of the path, and a familiar sound returns from the other side — as though something invisible were repeating it behind You. When the final version falls silent, the walls of Zoobyrinth continue to grow in silence. Above the fish rests an eye that saw the labyrinth before its walls existed; the lines upon the palms form an unknown map, while the celestial bodies slowly arrange themselves into a sign that should not exist. They say superstition loses its power when spoken aloud, but some words are better left unspoken twice, and some signs notice those who stare at them for too long. No one could explain how a creature of such proportions had passed through an opening narrower than the eye of a needle. Its metal shell bore neither a date nor the name of its maker — only the word Microdub. When the discovery was opened, eleven independent mechanisms were found inside. Behind the system stood Victor López (@victor-lopez-650216725) — an electronic musician from Ávila whose schematics matched the construction of the artefact exactly. Three of them proved to be the primary engines: :::Microdub 4 set a cogwheel heart in motion. :::Microdub 5 controlled the depth and allowed the machine to hear the space surrounding it. :::Microdub 6 was responsible for the echo: each of its signals returned from somewhere else.
