Absolute carnage. Leicester City being royally beaten at home by Oxford sparks the Fosse Arms into a sacking frenzy. We've had enough of this dross and we let the club know it. Pointless football, an almost pointless team, and a Board, the point of whom is beyond anyone. Extra Trumpwells all round please!
Into the relegation zone we sink, but rather than sulking, we're actually feeling a bit more sunny, after decent Leicester City displays against Ipswich and MK Dons. We cross fingers for the transfer window, marvel at taking 6000 fans to a League One fixture, and wonder who the hell Paul Brown is.
Since 1884 we've never plumbed these depths. We review how Burton skipped into town, through our defence and home again with all three points. We ask who'll still be here in September, if it's time to end the Luke Thomas era for good, and whether Russell Martin really was the right fit for this group. But we love the youngsters! Come on Leicester!
Tim, Killer and Norm consider our start to the new season and try to be upbeat amidst very few positives. Only one new striker? Surely that's a mistake! Would a goalkeeping 'blast from the past' make our current team? What is our club worth and will a buyer be found? Many questions with even more disappointing answers! Let's hope we don't 'Go for a Burton' next week.
Boom we're back! Three Trumpwells please as we look ahead, it has to be said, with some wonderful misplaced optimism about the season ahead. We look at Ins, Outs, Youngsters, The Manager and wonder how on earth we still don't have a striker! Good grief it's going to be a fun nine months. C'mon Leicester!
It's the final show of the season from the Fosse Arms. We discuss Leicester City's financial position, which players might be worth what, new Manager options, and our very own end of season awards. Spoiler: there ain't no Player of the year. Catch you next season!
So the inevitable got confirmed. Leicester City relegated by archetypal journeyman Oli McBurnie. Something quite fitting about that. We reflect on an extraordinary ten year period, wonder about league one, and ask what the heck is going to happen to Seagrave?!
Obviously another Leicester City defeat for us to review down the Fosse Arms. This time at Fratton Park. We share some truly awful stats, laugh about the impossible prospect of Player of the Season awards, and get ready for the Championship last rites which will surely come this week. Fun times!
Well that's surely that folks. We can't beat Sheffield Wednesday, then Swansea come to town and the inevitable ensues too. A truly appalling squad of Leicester City players all but deliver what they've promised all season. We talk about where it all went wrong, look back on some of our worst Managers ever, and delight in the fact that the Fosse Arms has a new cat.
Another 'Must win' ends in disappointment as Killer and Norm discuss yet further frustrations whilst desperately trying to keep the glass half full! Not an easy task with Leicester! A recent dilemma is revisited and Killer stuns Norm with a few 10 year Premier league winning anniversary questions (You will do better than Norm!!). The legend this week is a true GOAT and further 'Must wins' are considered in the coming week. Happy Easter to all.
Who knows? Another draw and another point away from home ain't bad for Leicester City, but the three points keep eluding us. We sit down in a Spring like Fosse Arms to discuss penalties, points deductions, Portsmouth, and Preston! Enjoy the International break and see you for the run in
After the optimism of Bristol City, the Foxes crashed back to earth in an horrendous fashion against QPR. We review both games down the famous Fosse Arms, look at everyone's run in, remember Neil Lennon, and try to forget what happened that famous day at Vicarage Road in the play off semi. Come on Leicester for goodness sake!
We'll say this for Gary Rowett; he knows how to grind out a tough away point. We reflect on Leicester City's draw with Ipswich, mull over the Board changes, ask whether our training ground really needed a golf course, and preview two home games against Bristol City and QPR. Come on Leicester!!
After a promising couple of draws, Leicester returned to the norm we know and hate with defeat against Norwich. We look at defensive calamities, discuss long throw trends, remember David Nugent's finishing, and wonder whether our new technical Director will have the autonomy to change our trajectory. Keep the Faith!
Not a win but the next best thing... a spirited draw. Leicester City nick a point at Stoke and could have had all three. Sure, we still can't defend, but there was a bit of fire in them there Foxes at last. Early days for Gary Rowett and we discuss his appointment, and the forthcoming double header with Boro and Norwich.
Managerial moves afoot at the King Power, with a possible incoming of Gary Rowett. We give our thoughts on that, but don't shy away from discussing the debacle against Southampton, let along the defeat against, err, Southampton. Maybe that was our worst week for 20 years. Let's hope so. We also discuss the fairly farcical decision to expand the Championship Play Offs. Can football get any more silly?
Six points deducted, four new players, one red card, no manager. It's a numbers game for Leicester City and they ain't going the right way. We review defeat at Birmingham, run the rule over our January signings, worry about lack of Managerial activity and glance nervously at the looming relegation zone
Okoli's moment of WWF madness saw Andy King's reign start as Marti's finished, with a defeat against a (fellow?) relegation struggler. We sit down with frothing Trumpwell's to discuss Leicester City's defeat to Charlton,Top's extraordinary interview, some positive signs amongst our youngsters, and a growing injury list. Next up Brum. Bring it on!
And off trots another one. So that's the end of the likeable Spaniard then. The Fosse Arms recruitment board sits down in earnest to review the, gulp, highs of Marti's reign, along with the considerable lows. We look back on a truly low point in the season, then look up at the possibilities for the next holder of this most poisoned of chalices. Up the City!
The three amigos try to understand, yet again, how a stellar performance ends at half time and why we can't finish the job. Would we take some of our worst managers back? Why does Marti persist with Luke Thomas? Another Leicester legend is remembered- a better goalie and striker than anything we have now! We also look forward to a week where we can be disappointed twice. Let's hope not- The Fosse Arms needs a lift.
