Today's conversation is with Calum White , founder of White & Co Real Estate and co-founder of our new venture, SOS - Sales & Scaling Operating Systems . Calum first appeared on CamBro Conversations in March 2025. Just over a year later, a WhatsApp message sparked a conversation that would lead us to start building SOS. Having both spent years selling, leading teams and developing salespeople, we'd experienced many of the same frustrations with how sales is taught. Too much disconnected information, too little structure and not enough support to turn knowledge into consistent performance. We believed there was an opportunity to change that. Together, we've created SOS, a sales education and business scaling platform designed to give sales professionals greater confidence, consistency and control, while helping business owners build more predictable, scalable sales operations. In this episode, we share the story behind the business, why we believe traditional sales training is falling short, the systems and frameworks that drive consistent performance, what we've built inside SOS and our ambition to make world-class sales education accessible to people and businesses around the world. Expect to Learn: Why so many salespeople struggle despite having access to more free sales advice than ever. The difference between developing individual sales skills and building a predictable sales operation. Why business owners become the bottleneck in their own sales teams and how to change that. The four areas to focus on when improving sales results: Skills, Volume, Process and New. Why frameworks, practical tools and ongoing support are more valuable than simply collecting sales scripts. How to turn sales education into consistent behaviour and measurable improvements. What Calum's approach to training and sales performance can teach businesses across industries about lead generation and conversion. What's included in Sales.OS, RealEstate.OS and the upcoming Scale.OS. Why we've made SOS accessible through a $100 monthly membership. Our plans to grow SOS from Dubai into a global sales education and business scaling platform. Join SOS and build your Sales Operating System with structured education, practical tools, frameworks and ongoing support. https://sossalesandscaling.com/sales-os/ Connect with Calum White Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/calum LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/calumwhiteceo/ Connect with Col Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/col.cambro/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/colcampbell1/ Join my email list: https://colcambro.kit.com/30bde23b0c
Today's conversation is a Birthday special solo episode as I turn 34 and reflect on 12 lessons I wish I'd understood ten years ago. At 24, I'd only ever worked for one company. I was ambitious and wanted to be successful, but I had no idea how much my career, circumstances and ambitions would change over the following decade. Since then, I've progressed to Sales Director, experienced redundancy twice, started my own business, coached over 125 business owners and their teams, built a podcast ranked in the top 1% globally and launched Sales.OS in Dubai. But the biggest changes haven't been in my circumstances. They've been in how I think, the decisions I make and what I now consider important. In this episode, I share 12 lessons across my 3 B's: Brain, Body and Business , covering confidence, resilience, discipline, health, sales, relationships and creating opportunities. Whether you're 24, 34, 44 or 64, I hope these lessons help you make better decisions over the next decade of your life. Expect to Learn: Why your self-image influences your opportunities, behaviours and results. How to build genuine confidence through competence, action and evidence. Why some of life's biggest setbacks can lead to your greatest opportunities. Why implementing what you already know is often more valuable than consuming more information. How your health habits compound over time and influence your performance. Why protecting your energy is just as important as managing your time. How to develop discipline without sacrificing enjoyment and freedom. Why consistency alone isn't enough without continuous improvement. Why learning to sell is one of the most valuable investments you can make. How asking better questions creates better opportunities and relationships. Why networking is about creating value for others before expecting anything in return. How choosing the right environment, people and business can transform your potential. Today's conversation is with Barry John Corr , a former professional footballer turned property investor and entrepreneur who has built an eight-figure property portfolio. Barry John began his football career at Celtic before going on to play for Motherwell in the Scottish Premier League. Dealing with a serious back injury that left him facing the possibility of never walking again went on to change the course of his life. Today, alongside his wife Leanne, he has built a substantial property portfolio through Investments 38, creating financial freedom and a lifestyle that once seemed out of reach. In this episode, we explore his journey from professional football to property investment, the mindset required to overcome adversity, raising millions in investor finance, building genuine wealth rather than simply appearing wealthy, and the importance of family, discipline and personal development. Expect to learn: How Barry John went from playing professional football to building an eight-figure property portfolio. The lessons he learned from a career-threatening back injury and starting again financially. How to build trust, attract investors and raise finance for property investments. Why he believes property investing can be low risk when approached correctly. The difference between looking wealthy and building genuine, long-term wealth. What he's learned from investing over £100,000 in property education and personal development. The decision to self manage their large portfolio rather than use a letting agency. His thoughts on Dubai, financial independence and creating a better lifestyle. How he approaches raising four children while teaching them the value of hard work and money. Today’s conversation is with Angela McKillop. Angela is an entrepreneur, speaker and mentor who has experienced the highest highs and lowest lows of business. After starting her career as a nursery teacher, Angela went on to build a home improvement business with her husband Stephen that reached £5 million in annual turnover before they ultimately lost the company. What followed was an incredibly difficult period in Angela’s life, but also the beginning of a complete transformation in how she thought about business, money, identity and what she wanted from her life. Today, Angela has rebuilt two successful businesses, moved from Scotland to Dubai and is passionate about helping other entrepreneurs create success on their own terms. Expect to learn: The influence her uncle’s success had on her ambitions Why Angela believes money amplifies who you already are What it felt like to build and then lose a £5 million business How she rebuilt herself during the difficult years that followed The event Angela credits with changing the direction of her life How gratitude, meditation, affirmations and self-belief fit into her approach today Where people misunderstand manifestation What Jim Carrey’s famous $10 million cheque can teach us about visualisation and belief What Angela means by “collapsing time” How coaching and mentoring can help you collapse time What you should actually look for in a coach or mentor How her own experience attending transformational events has influenced Business Unhinged What Angela understands about business today that she didn’t while running a £5 million company Neutonic: Fuel your focus with COLIN10 - Neutonic LinkedIn Personal Brand for Selling: Get my LinkedIn for Sales Guide VitaMonth - personalised monthly vitamin packs delivered directly to your door: https://vitamonth.com/ Sales.OS - practical sales training, frameworks and systems to help you sell with more confidence, consistency and control: https://sosalesandscaling.com/ Connect with Angela: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/angelamckillopbusiness/ LinkedIn: https:// www.linkedin.com/in/angela-mckillop/ Connect with Col: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/col.cambro/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/colin-campbell-10a2a4127/ Email List: https://colcambro.kit.com/30bde23b0c
How much could your life change between now and Christmas? Not next year. Not over the next five years. The next three months. Right now, I’m deliberately working harder, saying no to more things and narrowing my focus because I believe the opportunity in front of me warrants it. I call this a Season of Push. In this solo special, I break down why I’m sprinting until the end of 2026, how to decide whether something in your own life deserves a period of disproportionate effort, and how to structure that sprint without trying to live this way forever. Expect to learn: Why I think about life in seasons rather than constantly chasing balance How to decide whether an opportunity actually deserves a sprint The three things every successful sprint needs: Direction, Intensity and Environment Why working harder is useless without a defined destination How to turn your goals into specific daily and weekly inputs How I use the More, Better, New framework when results aren't arriving Why achieving more can require subtraction rather than adding more habits The trade-offs I've personally made during my current Season of Push How to time-box your calendar around what genuinely matters Why your leisure time and social environment still matter when you're locked in How to measure progress without giving up too quickly Why every sprint needs a finish line I also share examples from previous periods where I've deliberately increased the intensity, including the six months of prospecting that transformed my sales career and the mistakes I made during the first 100 episodes of CamBro Conversations. The challenge is simple: What could materially change in your life if you gave one important goal disproportionate focus, effort and attention between now and Christmas? Pick the destination. Identify the inputs. Build the environment. Decide what you're willing to temporarily say "not now" to. Then get after it. Today’s conversation is with Paul Cogan. Paul dresses some of Dubai’s most influential men. As the man behind DressingDubai and part of Suited & Booted, he has a unique insight into how successful men think about their appearance, what they wear and the impression they make before they’ve even said a word. So what can the rest of us learn from the way these men dress? In this episode, we explore the psychology of dressing well, how men’s style has changed, what’s actually in and out for 2026, and the simple rules any man can use to dress better. We also break down how to build a great wardrobe without owning hundreds of pieces, dressing for the Dubai heat and how AI is helping change the way we buy clothes. Expect to learn: What Paul has learned from dressing some of Dubai’s most successful men The psychology behind dressing well and the halo effect Why the era of skinny jeans and skin-tight clothing is over What’s actually in and out for men in 2026 Why fit and proportion matter more than how much your clothes cost How different body shapes should approach clothing The essential pieces for building a versatile men’s wardrobe Where to spend money and where you can save How to dress well in the Dubai heat How AI, virtual try-ons and visualisation could change menswear The one thing every man could change to immediately dress better Whether you’re already interested in menswear or simply want to look better without spending hours thinking about clothes, this episode is a practical guide to dressing with more confidence, intention and style. I’m back with an overdue solo Q&A covering sales, business, health, mindset, money and life. This one goes from the practical - how I’d rebuild a business from zero, why closing problems usually start much earlier in the sales process and what businesses get wrong about motivating salespeople - to the more personal. I talk about my early struggles in sales, transitioning from employment to building my own business, my best investment, the latest from Dubai and what I hope life looks like by episode 480. Expect to learn: My top lessons across sales, health and mindset Why “boring” businesses can be great businesses How I went from nervous cold caller to generating six figures in commission Why incentives shape sales culture How I’d rebuild from zero in 90 days My approach to taking calculated risks in business Why the podcast might be the best investment I’ve ever made The latest on Dubai, SOS and what comes next Plus investing, peptides, golf and the increasingly important subject of my hair As always, thank you to everyone who sent questions in. Over the last year, I’ve coached more than 125 business owners and their sales teams across property and real estate, financial services, insurance, marketing, fitness, construction, design and more. Different businesses. Different customers. Different price points. But remarkably similar sales problems. In this solo episode, I’m breaking down nine of the biggest lessons I’ve learned from going inside these businesses, reviewing how they sell and helping them improve their results. Expect to learn: Why you might have a sales process problem rather than a sales problem The discovery mistake I see salespeople make constantly Why communicating value doesn't mean your prospect actually sees it Why most closing problems start much earlier in the conversation How consistency creates a healthier pipeline Why structure can create more sales confidence than charisma How your pipeline directly affects your psychology when selling Why so many good opportunities die during follow-up Why great selling looks increasingly like leadership rather than persuasion These lessons don't operate independently. Your prospecting affects your pipeline. Your pipeline affects your mindset. Your discovery affects how you communicate value. Your value affects objections. And all of it influences how easily you can guide someone towards a decision. That's why I increasingly think about sales as an operating system rather than a collection of individual techniques. Today’s conversation is with Joe Gibson, founder of the Athletic Aesthetic. Joe is an online fitness coach who helps professional men build what he calls the Athletic Aesthetic - a body that looks muscular and lean but can also perform. Joe has personally run a sub-3-hour marathon while maintaining significantly more muscle than your typical endurance athlete, and is now pushing towards a sub-2:45 marathon. In this episode, we break down exactly how to combine strength training, running, nutrition and recovery without allowing fitness to take over your life. We build out a hybrid training programme for the busy professional, explore how lean you can realistically stay year-round, and discuss why high performers who are incredibly disciplined in business can still struggle to apply the same standards to their health. Expect to learn: What the Athletic Aesthetic is and why more men are moving towards hybrid training Whether you can genuinely be muscular, strong and endurance fit at the same time How to structure lifting and running across a week How much Zone 2 and interval training you actually need How to use protein and carbohydrates when combining lifting with endurance training The biggest fitness mistakes Joe sees ambitious professionals making What your minimum effective training should look like during a brutal week at work Why sacrificing sleep to train isn't necessarily discipline What successful people unnecessarily overcomplicate about fitness What Joe needs to change to go from a sub-3 to a sub-2:45 marathon We bring everything together into The Busy Man's Blueprint - stripping fitness back to the actions that matter most and creating an approach you can sustain alongside a demanding career, business and social life. The goal isn't to make fitness your life. It's to build a body that looks good, performs well and supports everything else you want to do. This conversation was originally recorded on The Charlie Johnson Show , where Charlie Johnson interviewed me about the journey behind CamBro Conversations, building my sales coaching business, and the lessons I’ve learned from more than six years of creating content, and over a decade working in sales. We unpack what it takes to build a top 1% podcast through consistency, why I’m increasingly bullish on long-form content in an AI-driven world, and how to turn attention and content into conversations, clients and revenue. We also go deeper into identity, process thinking, delayed gratification and the compounding effect of staying in the game for long enough. Alongside business, we discuss environment design, making better decisions, and deliberately building a life that supports high performance. And towards the end, we move into the macro - including my concerns about the direction of the UK, socialism, incentives and why the environment you live and operate in matters. This is a wide-ranging conversation covering podcasting, sales, entrepreneurship, personal development, high performance and politics - and an opportunity to hear more of the story and thinking behind what I've been building with CamBro and my coaching business. Today’s conversation is the return of Dec Kelly to CamBro Conversations. When Dec last joined me in December 2023, things looked incredibly successful from the outside, but behind the scenes he was questioning his identity as “the crypto guy”, dealing with burnout and beginning to think seriously about making some major changes to his life. Almost three years later, a lot has changed. Dec has moved to Dubai, stepped away from the public-facing side of Crypto Glasgow, expanded his thinking beyond crypto into other investments, built two new YouTube channels, turned his passion for collectibles into a growing business and gone from being coached himself to now coaching others. This conversation is about what happens when you’re willing to reinvent yourself rather than remaining trapped by the success and identity you’ve already built. We also explore one of the biggest themes running through Dec's story: life can change so much in six months. Never stop pushing. You don't necessarily need the complete plan before taking action. Dec Collects started with an interest in wrestling cards, but as he stepped forward, opportunities emerged across YouTube monetisation, affiliates, digital products and e-commerce. Today’s conversation is with Dr Julie Gurner. Dr Julie is an executive performance coach who has spent the past 14 years working with top executives, founders and high performers operating in some of the world's most competitive environments. She specialises in improving productivity, decision-making, focus and helping people unlock extraordinary levels of success. Dr Julie returns to CamBro Conversations for a third time and, as always, this conversation goes far beyond performance. We explore the psychology behind persistence, audacity, wealth, reputation and the internal dialogue that shapes the trajectory of our lives. We also discuss my own journey of going all in on sales coaching and podcasting, why your early career can become the launchpad for opportunities you never imagined, and how seemingly small decisions compound into extraordinary outcomes over time. Previous episode numbers to hear more from Dr Gurner are episodes 206 and 273. Expect to learn: Why choosing to persist is one of the boldest decisions you can make How to distinguish genuine signals from temporary discomfort Why audacity is often the missing ingredient behind extraordinary success Why wanting wealth and success isn't something to apologise for How your early career can unlock opportunities far beyond your original ambitions Why reputation matters more than ever in business and life What Dr Julie means by having both "bark and bite" Why the whispers you ignore today often become tomorrow's biggest regrets How to recognise when it's time to change direction versus persist What a rich and meaningful life actually looks like beyond money Take the FREE 4-Minute Sales Audit Find out exactly where your sales process is leaking revenue and what to fix first. https://colinsales-vygp2xak.manus.space 📈 LinkedIn Personal Brand for Selling Learn how to turn LinkedIn into a consistent source of leads, conversations and customers. https://colcambro.kit.com/products/linked-in-personal-brand-for-selling Millionaire Money Moves The best money lessons I've learned from interviewing entrepreneurs, investors and financial experts. https://millionaire-fhcpmlvz.manus.space Connect with Dr Julie: Substack - https://drgurner.substack.com/ Twitter - https://x.com/drgurner/ Connect with Col Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/col.cambro/ Email List: https://colcambro.kit.com/30bde23b0c
Today’s conversation is with Richard Grannon. Richard is an author, life coach and one of the world's best-known educators on narcissism, trauma, emotional resilience and human behaviour. Through his YouTube channel, books, and coaching, he's helped millions of people better understand toxic relationships, manipulation and the psychology that shapes modern society. In this episode, we explore what narcissism actually is, why it's so widely misunderstood, and how narcissistic traits can show up in relationships, workplaces, social media and even wider culture. We also discuss the psychology behind victimhood, virtue signalling, identity. On a macro level, the UK is in the grips of malevolent forces and its decline sits at the feet of an elite who have no regard for the native population. Richard and I explore how this relates to narcissism and psychopathy. Expect to learn: What narcissism actually is and what it isn't Whether narcissistic personality traits are inherited or developed How social media has changed human behaviour since Richard's 2019 Plugged In documentary Why victim identity can become psychologically rewarding The psychology behind virtue signalling and group identity Why society feels increasingly polarised Whether society can reverse the rise in narcissistic behaviours The lessons Richard has learned from an unconventional life spanning self-defence, psychology, coaching and entrepreneurship Take the FREE 4-Minute Sales Audit - https://colinsales-vygp2xak.manus.space Peak Performance Blueprint - https://colcambro.kit.com/products/peak-performance-blueprint Vitamonth Get 50% off your first month with code CAMBRO - https://vitamonth.uk Connect with Richard Website: https://www.richardgrannon.com/ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@RICHARDGRANNON Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/richard.grannon Connect with Col Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/col.cambro/ Email List: https://colcambro.kit.com/30bde23b0c
Today’s conversation is with Daniel Calcott - founder and CEO of Digital Debt Resolution Agency. Debt collection. For most people, those two words immediately create a negative reaction. But what if the entire industry has been built around the wrong philosophy? In this conversation, Daniel shares how he set out to challenge an industry full of outdated processes, poor customer experiences, and negative perceptions by building a business centred around empathy, communication and resolution rather than collection. Expect to learn: Why Daniel decided to build a debt resolution business The problem he believed the industry had been ignoring The differences between founder thinking and corporate thinking Why marketing is really about psychology, communication and trust How branding can transform even the most traditional industries Why Digital DRA chose to become a visible, personality-led business The innovations improving customer experience beyond AI The leadership lessons Daniel has learned building the business How uncertainty in the UK has shaped entrepreneurship over the last five years Where debt resolution is heading over the next decade This was a fascinating conversation about challenging industries, building trust, creating better customer experiences, and proving that innovation isn't always about technology - it often starts with changing the way people think. Today’s conversation is with Dylan King, founder of King AI and Automation. Dylan helps businesses in the UK identify and implement the AI systems that allow them to grow and scale effectively. Artificial Intelligence is moving at an incredible pace. Every week there's a new tool, a new model, or another headline claiming AI will change everything. The challenge for most business owners isn't whether AI matters. It's knowing what actually matters. In this conversation, Dylan cuts through the noise to explain which AI tools are genuinely worth your time, how to implement them into your business, and why AI should be viewed as a productivity multiplier rather than a replacement for your expertise. Expect to learn: Why Dylan recommends Claude over other AI platforms for most business owners How Claude Projects can become your AI-powered operating system Why one-off AI chats are limiting your productivity The AI tools every business owner should know about Why Fathom AI is transforming meetings and sales calls How NotebookLM can become your personal learning assistant Why Airtable is an ideal first CRM for growing businesses The biggest mistakes people make when creating AI content Why your expertise should always come before AI The security risks businesses need to understand before deploying AI publicly Where AI is heading and what it means for the future of business If you've been wondering how to actually use AI beyond writing emails or asking simple questions, this conversation will give you practical ideas you can implement immediately. After so many of you asking about my own journey into sales coaching, I thought this would be a great conversation to share here on CamBro Conversations. We dive into the story behind leaving my corporate career to go all in on sales coaching and consultancy, the mindset required to make that leap, and the lessons I've learned helping business owners and sales teams improve their sales performance. We also explore the biggest mistakes businesses make during the sales process, why communication is one of the highest-return skills you can develop, and practical ways to build more confidence, create more opportunities, and close more business. Along the way, we discuss entrepreneurship, personal development, high performance, and the habits and principles that have shaped my own career over the last decade. A huge thank you to Jay for having me on. I really enjoyed this conversation and hope you get plenty of value from it. Today’s conversation is with Mark Laurie - Mental & Physical Performance Coach, founder of Proactive Performance, and Youth Mentor at The Enhance Project. When I first heard Mark speak at Tartan Talks, one thing stood out immediately. This is a man who's lived several lives. The person helping people improve their mindset, performance, confidence and direction today is a very different version of the man he once was. In this conversation, Mark shares the twists, turns and hard-earned lessons that shaped his journey, from difficult environments and time spent in prison through to earning a Sports Science degree, building a coaching business, mentoring young people, and helping others unlock their potential. Expect to learn: The experiences that shaped Mark's early life How he completely changed the direction of his future Why some people break the cycle while others don't The lessons he learned from earning a Sports Science degree How Proactive Performance evolved from physical coaching into mindset and performance coaching What NLP is and how it can help change behaviour The mentors and influences that shaped Mark's thinking Why walking and movement can improve mental clarity The work he does with young people through The Enhance Project and beyond The challenges facing today's younger generation The daily habits that help Mark perform at his best What success looks like for the next chapter of his life This was a fascinating conversation about transformation, personal responsibility, mindset, second chances, and proving that your past doesn't need to dictate your future. Today’s conversation is a Solo special. After how much you all enjoyed episode 348 on the habit shifts that helped level up my Brain, Body & Business, I wanted to go one level deeper. This episode isn't about productivity hacks. It's not about the perfect morning routine. And it's definitely not another list of life hacks. Instead, this is an exploration of the principles that have genuinely changed my life. The ideas that have shaped how I think, work, train, build relationships, approach business, and navigate challenges. Many of these principles came directly from conversations on CamBro Conversations with world-class guests. Others came from books, mentors, experiences, mistakes, and lessons I've learned through implementing them in my own life. Expect to learn: Why growth and discomfort are inseparable How your environment quietly shapes your behaviour Why confidence comes from reps, not personality The link between energy, performance and happiness How your ancestors' resilience can change your perspective on adversity Why long-term thinking reduces anxiety The difference between knowing what to do and actually doing it How identity drives behaviour and results Why communication has a huge impact on stress levels The lessons I've learned from guests including Dr Aria, Nico Carrillo, Daniel Crosby, TJ Power, Nir Eyal and Stirling Cooper The principles that have had the biggest impact on my body, brain and business over the last decade Whether you're focused on improving your health, growing your business, building confidence, or simply becoming a better version of yourself, I think there will be something in this episode that resonates. Today’s conversation is with Sean Weir, one of the fastest rising names in Bare Knuckle (BKFC). Today people see the fighter. They see the knockouts, the confidence, the reputation, and the growing profile within bare-knuckle boxing. What they don't always see is everything that came before it. Sean grew up in Wishaw, Scotland, and from an early age was exposed to more chaos, tragedy and loss than most people experience in a lifetime. Throughout this conversation, he opens up about the deaths of loved ones, multiple suicides within his circle, losing his daughter, surviving a horrific car crash, and the dark periods that followed. At one point, Sean found himself in such a difficult place that he attempted to take his own life. This conversation explores how he found a way back. We discuss combat sports, his Christian faith, purpose, plant medicine, personal growth, and the transformation that has taken place over the last few years as Sean rebuilt himself physically, mentally and spiritually. Sean also shares the role Ayahuasca played in his healing journey, why he believes it helped save his life, and how it gave him a new perspective on the pain he had carried for years. Alongside the personal story, we dive into his rapid rise through BKFC, his victories over Joe Lister and Matt Hodgson, the mindset required to compete at the highest level, and the potential future match-ups everyone is talking about.
