Hello, my name is, Cinnamon. This podcast is HERstory (healing.empowerment.reform); I went through postpartum depression and that alone made me feel lonely. That is what made me create group pages in support of other women/men that felt like me facing depression/anxiety/ppd/bipolar etc. This podcast is nothing short of authenticity and transparency. I am on a journey to healing, so why not all do it together? Don’t let any “mental illness” define you! 💚💚💚

On today’s episode, this will mainly be about a mental wellness check in. 💚💚💚
On tonight's episode, it is featuring of course our fav, co-host, Cedric. Tonight's episode is a daily reminder to never give up on yourself! We're often hard on ourselves if we feel like we're not where we're supposed to be/should be. Stop counting yourself out, especially if you haven't tried yet. I hope this episode resonates with you! 💚💚💚
On today's episode, this is ft co host Cedric. Cedric is telling his story of what his depression looks like and me being his friend I am also giving my perspective of how a friend should treat their friend/bf/gf/spouse/family, etc., while they are experiencing a depressive episode by shutting the world out. Depression looks different for everyone, so pay attention to the signs in this episode.
On tonight’s episode it will consist of a mental health check in. It’s a short and sweet episode to see how everyone is doing. No, really, how you all are REALLY doing. Continue to spread grace, spread love. Remember to treat people how they want to be treated and check in on your family/friends, or those you don’t even know. Be their light in a dark room. 💕💕
On tonight’s episode we have co-host Cedric to discuss our own toxic ways that we recognized while breaking down the characters Malcolm & Marie. This episode may be triggering by bringing up some trauma responses, but also to shed light on such an important word that is praised; “toxic.” Learning that what isn’t transformed will only transfer.
On today’s episode, Cedric my fav and y’all fav came back to discuss emotional abuse/mental abuse and how that (and cheating) can have a long term effect on your mental health, especially when you already may have depression/anxiety/ppd/bipolar, etc. I hope this episode resonates with you in some way. We got off topic, but in a good way. 💚
On today’s episode, it is bringing you reassurance. Reminding you that if all you did today was exist, then that’s enough. It’s giving tips/suggestions on how to set the tone for your days. This podcast is completely transparent.
This is a continued episode since we got cut off. 💜
On tonight’s episode, my friend Cedric has joined to discuss rape and domestic abuse. These topics shined line on why most of us don’t feel safe enough to come forward with the abuse. Breaking down the emotional toll that it can also take on you. If you or anyone you know going through this, please, reach out. 💜
On today’s episode, I have guest Bre & Tia to discuss an open dialogue of how the end of friendships and spouse breaks ups can affect you. This topic goes into discussing relationships in general and creating boundaries for your self. This is also to give the reassurance that sometimes it’s a reflection of them and not you. This is one that you don’t want to miss.
On today’s episode, I will be discussing healthy boundaries and unhealthy boundaries. Giving ideas on how to create those healthy boundaries and making sure you’re creating boundaries for the betterment of your mental health.
Today’s episode, will touch on seasonal depression. What it looks like and how to cope with it. This episode will touch on tips to push/grow through, reassurance, and extending grace to ourselves and others. Winter typically feels super long, especially with less sunlight, so this episode will help you figure out ways to get through this process and calling out the problem, so that you can heal from it.
This episode is a continuation since my podcast cut off in mid segment 💜
On today’s episode, I will be discussing how your childhood could possibly effect your adult life. I will go into detail of how I grew up and where it left me standing. I want input from you all as well and your stories (only if you’re comfortable). This podcast is complete transparency and how I eventually learned to not become a product of my environment and how to break those generational curses.
On today’s episode, I will be discussing how to manage your anxiety. What ways to cope, how to stay in control, and resources. This episode will entail my own experience as well as give tips on what can you do to help those racing thoughts. This is also a reminder to remember that you are not your anxiety. You are not your depression. Yes, it’s apart of you, but don’t allow those titles to take over. 💕
On today’s episode, I will be discussing the pressures that society has placed on women. Society has created a stigma that women have to be perfect and that all women want to walk the same walk as if we were born with rule books. This topic will also tie into why women develop depression, anxiety, and postpartum depression.
On today’s episode, I will be discussing growth. A lot of people feel like they have to be validated in order to believe they’re growing. I’m here to remind you that growth is growth; no matter how small. A step is a step. And trying is enough to be proud of!
On today’s episode, I will be discussing forgiveness. This year has truly sat me down and brought up so many triggers that I realized that I wasn’t forgiving anyone. I was just saying I was for them and not me. I am now really ready to put in the work for my healing to truly be done, and I’m wondering if anyone is willing to with me?
Today’s episode is touching on the hurt that we as black people are facing on a daily basis. From all the senseless murders, racially profiled, etc. Also, we are speaking about sexual abuse.
This podcast episode is on what to do when your anxiety tries to come back into the picture. Also, to remind you that you got this, and to not let it stop your road to healing.
